We followed Lisa (the owner) from her previous place of employment, and would drive the 15 miles from Chapel Hill just to see her!

My boyfriend and I both got our hair cut here, and the owner did a wonderful job! She was helpful and offered suggestions on how we should cut our hair, based on our hair type. She was also absolutely wonderful with my boyfriends hair. He usually hates haircuts, but that did not deter the owner from doing her best to make him happy. The price was also very reasonable. I will definitely be returning here!

Ive had two haircuts from Ivy and theyve been consistently good and held up between cuttings. She listened to what I wanted and made some good suggestions. All-in-all a good experience at a fair price. Thanks, Ivy!

Horrible experience! I specifically asked the owner when I made my appointment if she had barbers for me that can do the type of cuts posted on their website, I was a shored several times that somebody would be able to help me out and cut my hair the way I want it so I make an appointment when I get there I’ll get the worst haircut of my life looks nothing like the picture that I wanted looks nothing like the pictures they posted on their website so I get a hold of the owner and I said hey this haircut that I got is horrible it’s nothing like what you posted on your website is nothing like the picture that I showed the lady and is nothing like that it is nothing like what I’m paying for, The barber instead of looking at the picture and seeing what kind of agree just mistake so she made cut my hair instead of apologizing shes sitting there arguing with me about it and I been get my haircut for 34 years she’s telling me how to cut my hair then The owner apologized and assured me that she couldn’t fix the problem or she’ll take care of it so Went a sat in her chair came out of that chair with even worst haircut I didn’t have time to argue or complain so I paid my $17 and walked out is the most ridiculous barbershop I’ve ever been in long story short if you’re African-American to not go to this barbershop

Went today for the first time as a Walk-In. Lisa did a great job. She was friendly and made my time in the chair enjoyable. I’ll definitely be going back.

Saw some of the signs the owner had put up around Durham. Went in on a weekday, got a great haircut for the advertised price, and was out in 20 minutes.The owner is super friendly as well. Ill probably be back!

Not Fancy, but real people real server, price is good for simple hair cut. there are very fanny talk with ladies, very nice people over here, very local:-) love Samansa and Lisa :-)

They didnt even get my appointment right. I made a appointment for 2:30 and they told me there is another appointment for that time and on the phone I told the lady i want my hair braided and she said ok. When I got there she said we dont braid hair.
