My go to place to get a haircut when I’m in town. I’ve been to many other places in the area, but I have not received the same treatment as I have with here. Everyone there was very nice and professional, especially the barber/stylist I had, Tiffany. She did a great job cutting my hair and she styled it really well too. Not only that, but she is very pleasant, easy to talk to, and I can tell based on her suggestions and how she styled my hair that she is pretty experienced and definitely knows what she is doing. I’d recommend trying to see her if you ever go here.

I love going here to gey my haircut. Comfy chairs. Televisions. Hot towels on face and neck. Straight blade shaves and shampoo. Its my self pamper place lol

I’ve lived in Durham for a little over 2 years now. I ALWAYS come to lady janes to get my haircut. However there is this new woman there Tiffany who is thee only person I’ve come back twice to see. Before, is just walk in and let anyone cut my hair. But since moving away from my home town to Durham, Tiffany is the only person I trust now cut my hair so now I make my appointments with her. She’s very knowledgeable, goes above and beyond for her clients, and has amazing suggestions.I had an idea to color my hair for the first time and she ran with it. Made me feel very comfortable with doing it and it turned out amazing. She’s always upbeat and positive and just has a refreshing attitude when you’re trying to relax and get a hair cut.I highly recommend lady janes in general, all the ladies there do great work, but if you can get her I also highly recommend Tiffany.

Have been coming here for over a year and have had generally good experiences however lately their Sunday service has continually disappointed. The google business page and their door says they open at 10am but for the last 4 visits, no one is there until 10:30. Not sure what management is doing but either open when you say you will or change your hours.

I enjoy walk in service. Had to wait about 20 minutes but the stadium seat was comfy and service was worth the wait.

I moved back to NC in September and I let Sarah P cut my hair she informed me she isn’t in wake forest all the time and she mainly works in durham which I thought was great cause I was moving to durham! She cut my hair and I haven’t thought twice about going anywhere else! Yes sometimes you may have to wait cause they are short handed a lot but that’s cause the government pays people to sit at home instead of work so I give props to the girls there! Sarah took her time and always makes me look and feel like I’m top notch!! She keeps me looking the best! Plus if you want a good haircut it shouldn’t bother you to wait! I mean they got TVs with sports and news on and you can ask them to turn it to whatever! Sarah is the best she makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t have a attitude like some other places I’ve been I would definitely recommend this place is you want a awesome haircut and great atmosphere along with beautiful girls that do a great job! I actually met my soulmate there so good job lady janes and Sarah P I love you!!

If you are trying to get a hair cut at 10:05 am on Monday, don’t bother. I saw someone in the shop run to the back and hide. The door was locked and they didn’t answer the phone either.

I used to LOVE this location and swore I would never go anywhere else, however in the last two months (as of April 21’) they have had a ton of stylist leave, are ALWAYS short handed and some inexperienced staff. This morning on Sunday I showed up and they were 30 minutes late to open. I got a new stylist, she’d been there a week and I could tell she wasn’t experienced by the way she used the clippers and scissors. I do a hard part and she gave me a damn landing strip to the scalp. I kid you not, it’s a quarter of an inch wide. I will not return here anymore.

I have been going to the same Barber for over 10 years, and Christine was able to duplicate my style of cut on the first attempt. As always, she did a wonderful job! Go check her out shes very friendly and so is all of the wonderful people who work there.

It was a great place to get a haircut. They were professional and extremely welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hair cut. I will most definitely visit again.

Been coming here a while now and I like the service (and this would be 5 stars) but they are not doing due diligence on Covid-19 safety. The only stylist on the floor had her mask entirely down while cutting a clients hair. She kept taking it all the way down to talk or answer the phone near customers. They also let a man walk in with no mask and stand at the counter next to other customers while he made an appt for 5 minutes and never mentioned masks.Im going to find another place to go of this does not improve. Hope it does because they are good at what they do.

They dont seem to take COVID seriously.I have been here a few times and generally like the cut I get here. Ive had my hair cut at home for awhile to avoid COVID exposure, but I decided to go back today. I went in the middle of the day to minimize the chance of other customers being there, and luckily I was the only one. There were signs on the door that said masks were required, so I went inside and signed in.An employee came to the front of the store to help me out and she wasnt wearing a mask. I looked over and the other two employees also were not wearing masks. I was flustered, but said, Oh you dont wear masks here, Im going to get a haircut somewhere else. The employee told me they do wear masks, but none of them were at the time. The front door was closed, so theres not a lot of ventilation in there, meaning if they only put their masks on when theyre cutting someones hair, there could still be COVID in the air. Also, she came up to talk to me from across the desk without a mask on. Anyway, it wasnt worth it, so I left and am going to make an appointment somewhere else that takes COVID precautions more seriously.

I had an appointment for 4pm. At 4:50pm I left, without a haircut. Whats the effing point in having appointments if youre not going to be available for the appointment... Never again.

Honestly the people are very nice but the attention to detail is just awful. Its almost like because you get a neck shaving and a washing that distracts from the fact the style you showed is completely wrong on the most basic fundamental level. What a shame really.

Been here a few times and the last two times have been disappointing. The hair cuts are fine but please dont trust them with your beard. Each time directions have not been followed about where to draw the line and each time the beards lines ended uneven. Yesterday my beards lines were so uneven I left and immediately went to another barber to fix the job and paid an additional 20 dollars for that service.

Good place for a basic hair cut. well trained staff. They have other options but I havent tried them because they are expensive. Regular haircut and neck shave are reasonable priced

New customer here, and my experience was nothing less than enjoyable! Only complaint, I like the hairline edged up with a straight razor if the barber/stylist can do it well. I did not get that (I did not ask either). Will definitely be back in the near future.

There were four employees working when I got there two of them had people they were giving haircuts to the other two left after 20 minutes of me waiting. I managed to waste my entire hour long break waiting to get a haircut that I never received.. I won’t be back

Got another awesome haircut at Lady Janes today. The best service and reasonably priced. I highly recommend getting additional services. The best add on is the Kings treatment. You will definitely leave there feeling like a king!

Establishment is clean, efficent, and staff is friendly. Didnt have to wait long. Christine did a great job and cut my hair exactly how I asked. The second most important thing for me was the price. One of the few places you can go to, anymore, and not have to pay $$$ for a mens haircut. This is my go-to place now.

Awesome location. Brand new facility and is definitely catered towards men. Felt very classy walking in and the stylists take a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommend and the pricing is insane right now take advantage of it!

They were very professional in approach. On an individual level, my stylist was highly skilled and had crucial attention to detail. At the same time, she was able to be funny and candid about her general observations.

Even with a straight razor she left a lot of hair on my neck. There were long hairs around my ears as well. I had to clean those areas up myself when I got home. The neck wasn’t tapered as I asked. Even though she said she could do that. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to pay attention to details. It’s not like there was a line of people waiting for a haircut. I guess at the end of the day that’s what I get for a $12 haircut. Lesson learned.

The atmosphere is very inviting Kisa was my barber and she took her time to make sure the cut was right. I have very wavy hair and it needs to be kept longer to look even she was very careful and only took off a very little at a time. I also got a coloring service in my beard and hair. The pricing is very reasonable for all the services I received. Highly recommend this shop and Kisa.
