Ive only been to Duke Homestead Barber Shop twice, but the quality of the haircut is the best. The barber always goes the extra mile, and doesnt seem rushed. It is a little more expensive than a haircut at Walmart, but the professionalism of this shop makes it more than worth it. I intend to be a regular visitor.

I received a wonderful haircut today from Clark Evans. It was my first time and Clark was personable and very familiar with the way I wanted my hair to be cut. He was reasonable with his price and I am excited about using Clark as my regular Barber.

Great haircuts in a lovely space. I’ve been taking my 12 year old son to Duke’s for a year and neither of us will go anywhere else. They do all the modern style cuts and take their time at it. Warm cloth and straight razor for the neck. Whether you’re a 50-year-old guy like me or a kid, they seem to be able to get it just right. Reasonable rates, perhaps a couple bucks more expensive than the chain places but well worth it. Authentic old fashion barber chairs, super comfortable. They usually have a movie playing on the big screen and have enough pride in what they do to sell sweatshirts and other clothing with their name on it!

Been getting my hair cut at Homestead since my wife and I moved to Durham 15 years ago. (It was a different name and location then.) Never any reason to change. Always friendly, always expert.

Best barber shop around in my opinion, hard to find a good barber that knows how to cut a flat top found them years ago and will not go anywhere else.
