Getting a state inspection is never fun, but N-Tune made it as pleasant as possible. I made an appointment for 8:10am and they were prompt, efficient and courteous. I was done in 20 minutes and they made sure to double-check with me and charge the correct amount for Orange county ($13.60) instead of Durham county ($30+).

We decided to go there because of the reviews and were not disappointed. Fast, and reasonable price. A straight forward communication was appreciated. We did not feel they were pushing for services not needed. We plan to go back.

They are very accommodating for the customers work schedules! I was able to leave my car there for a couple of days while they performed major work on it!They also communicate what issues are going on with your car, and what the the solutions are. They will tell you the names of auto parts and what they do, but they also use simplier terms to make things a little easier to understand.Last but not least, the people are fun to get along with!

N Tune is my new go to mechanic especially for my diesel. I was worried that my repair was going to take more that a week and cost several thousand dollars. I live in Orlando, Florida, but have a second home in beautiful Chapel Hill. When here with my wife, we occasionally require automotive service across various cars - including my daughter’s. Though I have met Matt, and hold him in high regard, I deal mostly with the very efficient Kim, and the most helpful P.D. In the past four years, I’ll bet I’ve been to N-Tune Automotive 10 or 12 times with everything from little fixes to inspections to tire & battery replacement. They even spotted, AND REPLACED in no time, a cracked (and leaking) cast aluminum intake manifold on my beloved 2006 BMW station wagon. That complex manifold job took real talent! N-Tunes is TOP DRAWER in my book!!! They are good, trustworthy people, and they know their cars inside & out!

Best place ever. Ive been going here for well over 10 years and always get outstanding service. Matt is the best and always explains in detail any issues with my vehicles. Never tells me to do work I dont need and in fact tells me not to do work that I dont need. I now have two vehicles with well over 100K miles (one with over 200K miles!) and he keeps them safely on the road. Hes kept my whole familys fleet of vehicles over the years on the road.Not sure where the previous comment they want to sell their own cars comes from because they dont sell cars. Cant say enough good things. couldnt ask for a better shop.

They always help us out in a pinch & do fantastic work. They fit us in last minute for an oil change & noticed my drive belt was about to bust (it was, knowing the age of my car) they then made sure the belt was replaced so I could get home safe even though they probably had to stay later to do it. Weve been using N-Tune for years & are glad we found a great mechanic who we trust.

I have taken my 2000 Subaru Outback to N-Tune for close to 15 years now, and when I get my new car I will be taking that to N-Tune as well. They have never dragged their feet, they have focused on an issue even if it meant taking months to solve it, even if it meant putting their own time into it. Took my car to check and inspect, and the people was nice but not honest at all. They told me my car need fixes by $1500 for and one bearing..... They just want to sell there own cars..

Ive been taking my Honda to N-Tune for a number of years and am extremely pleased. Sara is always warm and personable, and they do fine work at reasonable prices. They have a loaner car to be used, when scheduled in advance, if I need to leave my car and need transportation in the interim. I highly recommend them.

I trust these people and thats the reason that I have taken my car(s) there for many years. I know that if someone tells me a repair needs to be done, it does need to be done and they are also good about telling me what work needs to be done now and what can wait. All of the mechanics are friendly and very competent and Sarah is just the best.

Brought in a car for a pre purchase inspection. It only took them about 45 minutes to do it and they gave me their honest advice, which was not to buy the car. I thought it was nice to hear them say that rather than try and sell me on fixing the things that were wrong with it. On top of that, they gave me a 50% discount. So, while I was disappointed that I didnt get a car, they made it an easy experience and well worth it

Matt has been working on my cars for at least 15 years. I went to him when another mechanic specializing in Hondas said he couldnt fix the hatchback latch on my car. Matt fixed it while I waited. He fixed a busted exhaust system on my F250 when a Ford mechanic said he couldnt do it. His prices are fair and he doesnt fix things that arent broken. The best thing about the shop is that you can talk to the mechanic who is working on your car, instead of a service rep. Highly recommend them.

Worst experience ever! Took car for inspection but it wouldnt pass because the check engine light was on. Mechanic recommended nearly a $1000 worth of repairs. Authorized it then the car died a couple of days later. Not a damn thing I can do about it. Beware.

It is not 5 star place. I had a problem with my vehicle. They fixed it and I paid too much money. After a while, exact same problem came back again...I had to consult to someone else. They told me the cause of the problem. And it was not same answer as N-Tune Automotive.

They are very good at what they do, fairly priced, and helpful/nice to boot. They solved a brake noise in one try, after the dealership charged me for the repair but failed to solve it initially or in three return trips!

Ive used N-Tune for years, but needed a second opinion on an Acura purchase. Got three. N-Tune nailed the assessment and found faults the other places missed and offered lower pricing. Though it is painful to face the bottom line at times, I trust and will remain loyal to N-Tune for all my work.
