I just called all of the management companies in Durango & Ed was the only one to pick up the phone. His knowledge and experience was immensely valuable and I would strongly recommend going with this company if you want a hands off landlord experience. Thanks for taking the time to chat Ed.

PPM manages our vacation rental property in Durango, CO and I only have great things to say about the service and attention weve received from Victor and Ed. PPM is privately owned, run like a professional, friendly company should be and they are very efficient under all situations. Im very pleased with the immediate attention I receive and how thorough they are. My experience has been great and I would highly recommend Professional Property Managers to anyone!

I think Ed and Victor are highly unprofessional when it comes to property management. They hide behind their incompetence and as a reason for failing to manage our property.1) Ed commingled our vrbo account that we paid for in full with another account without recognizing the poor nature of that decision. We have 24 photos and three legitamate reviews versus the other property having 9 photos and no reviews. He stated he would remove the other home from the account once any outstanding bills were paid for monthly maintenance. We did so, and he then changed his mind. Now I am the one who has to perform extra work at my own expense despite the fact that Ed terminated the relationship.2) Why did Ed terminate the relationship? Lack of similar vision and untimely payments on our part. Lets see--Eds vision is Motel 6 and mine is Four Seasons....so yes on point one. On the second point, with our first and second rental, it took Ed over 5 weeks to pay our portion which we were rightfully owed. I have to disagree on who is timely with payments. Please note: PPM invoices have had several mistakes in them3) On the issue of timeliness, I was confused in general as to why we had a gorgeous home but no rental inquiries. I then asked to take over VRBO inquiries for our home, and was shocked to find that many inquiries had occurred but it had taken PPM up to 3 days to a week before a response was even sent to a potential renter, thus losing income we might have received if the response had been more timely. Additionally, Victor stated to potential renters 1) pets would be allowed and 2) sorry it took so long to respond but he was trying to get hold of us (the owners)---this was completely untrue in that he never asked and we have clearly stated NO to all pets as per policy.4) We have asked Ed per a verbal request earlier in 2016, and in May of 2016 per email, to place all incoming deposits and monies from rentals directly into our bank account instead of his based on the untimeliness of his payments from out December renters. He now states that he miraculously never received the email with our banking information and therefore, this was never done (even though he has received all other emails just fine). Currently we have over $17,000 in funds that should be in our account and which he has not paid to us. That number will rise as renters pay their final payments--thus still going into his account because VRBO only responds to him on the account, as this was how it was set up by PPM unbeknownst to us, and without our approval or knowledge. We had assumed since it was our property, and we had paid for the VRBO listing fees, that the VRBO account would be in our name. Bad assumption on our part!5) After taking over all inquiries for my home, a well known fact to PPM, someone from their company logged on (they asked me to keep all passwords the same until we separated the two accounts and I kindly agreed), as my husband, and responded and agreed to a renter without collecting the proper fee. This was clearly misrepresentation on their part.Do yourself a favor, and find someone else who is trustworthy to manage your second home and your investment. Do not let anyone commingle your rental income with another property.
