We had great help from Steven on getting our fireplace to work. He called the night before the appointment and walked us through some easy fixes. One of them worked and we didnt need for him to come out. Much appreciated and great help. Recommend this company to everyone.

I would highly recommend Four Corners as an honest and service oriented company. I made a purchase that ended up having the wrong r-value. Four Corners welcomed my contacting their vendor and then happily made the vendors suggested item return and substitution. Very easy to deal with and professional.

They helped us pick out the right pellet stove to fit our fireplace insert. Julio came out for the measurements and inspected our old fireplace insert on time and quickly to make sure it would work. Nick and jp were very good at communicating on when they could be at our house and when all of our stuff showed up for the install. We scheduled a week later. Rj and his crew showed up on time and got it installed and running in the same day without any major hiccups. Thank you guys for making this a great experience.

Jon-Paul (JP) was overly accommodating. They are busy, no doubt about it, but he and his team helped us underwrite the cost to replace an existing gas fireplace with a stove in a house we were looking to buy. He went as far as to go visit the house to make sure what we wanted to do could be accomplished and he provided a good price estimate for budgeting. We ended up not buying the house but without even meeting JP, I’d highly recommend him and his team at 4CSS for anything stove/fireplace related. He traded texts with me and communicated late into the evenings as he had packed full days on the job. Good customer service all around and we’ll definitely use them when/if another opportunity arises.

I’ve used Four Corners twice now and received exceptional quality and service. The first time was to fix a new gas fireplace insert that was installed incorrectly by a local company I purchased it from. That company would never return my calls. Not only did Four Corners fix the problem immediately, but they found other safety issues with the previous install and fixed those for me as well. I just had them install a new gas fireplace insert at my new house. The quality and performance of the insert is great, and the service I received from staff from the day I purchased to the day of installation was exceptional. I plan on using them again on another upcoming project.

Their communication is terrible. They no-showed a scheduled installation despite me taking off of work. They were months behind their promised schedule and never explained why. They scratched the hell out of my walls and floors when the finally did show up. Get your stove or spa from anyone else if you can.Responding to the owner:I called literally dozens of times and was only sporadically responded to. I also emailed all of these complaints and was only given cursory apologies. In fact, when I spoke to your front desk person I was informed that your service department was consistently missing calls and that this was the norm of late.Providing service for over 15 years is all well and good. But that doesnt excuse the significant mistakes in the last four months.

They came to my cabin and installed the gas fireplace. They did a great job installing it. The fireplace looks great.

Initially we received poor service. But once we addressed the issue, they were quick to remedy it and then provided great service and great customer service.

Great place to buy a tub and great service! Owners and staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Our tub was delivered promptly, the tech set up the tub for us and educated us about how to care for it. Months later, we needed a small repair and service tech was quick and courteous. They are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!

Steve performed safety inspection, explained his suggestions in straightforward manner, and was efficient in inspecting the various components of our Heatilator fireplace. We received value in excess of price charged as he also took COVID precautions seriously.

He walked me through every step of the pellet stove cleaning process and explained all the relevant inns and outs of pellet stove ownership and maintenance. What pellets to stay away from, and usage tips. These folks are the real deal, patient, knowledgeable and very friendly. Good people. Steven was the technician that worked on our fireplace. A competitor tried three times and $375 of my $ to find the problem and never did. Steven found it the first time. He is very thorough and taught me about the fireplace as he ran the diagnostics. I highly recommend Four Corners Stove and Spas and Steven in particular.

Paid in full in early October for fireplace insert for my daughter’s new home. It is now the end of the year, 2020, and still no fireplace even though she has had the gas people and electrician all out and their work completed. Apparently, “snow” is now the delay?!? Give me a break, this is Colorado!

We bought an in stock spa which Four Corners trucked from Durango to Mountain Village on the day promised and hauled the old spa off. The field service crew had to return after we resolved a house wiring issue. After filling, the field crew realized there was a frozen line near the heater and figured out a workaround to get the spa in service on a very cold day. Sales and service honored every reasonable request we made for the startup and worked very hard to make sure we were fully satisfied with the purchase. 4 Corners responded very quickly to my repair request. Techs on-site did an excellent job! They were not only skilled but went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work they were performing.

By far the worst experience possible from a company all around! I ordered a fireplace from four corners stoves and spas in October of 2018 and they never completed the job it was supposed to be 3-4 weeks and eventually we had to threaten to get an attorney involved to get our money back in January of 2019. Both the service and sales would avoid our calls and never return them. When I finally talked to the owner of the business he seemed unconcerned with the failures in customer service all together. Do not! I repeat DO NOT! do business with this companyI see that this company thinks they were not at any fault during this process. I strongly disagree. They continually dodged calls and messages trying to get information from them was like pulling teeth. Both the owner and the sales person acted arrogant and uninterested in helping resolve the situation. The installers came and looked at the site multiple times before the 3 month late install date and did not indicate that it needed any additional changes ( please not that I had an electrician and plumber come out and do the work they first requested.) Then they said the chimney was not large enough to accommodate the venting months after they had already visited the house and said that everything was good to go. These people are not worth doing business with! I certainly would not recommend then to anyone unless my goal was to cause frustration and disappointment to that person. Use at your own risk

Rich was extremely responsive and helpful when we were deciding on our gas burning stove. Some of the best service we experienced in Durango. Julio and Nick were the installers and were professional, courteous and had the experience to work around issues with our older home. We were looking for a pellet stove and hit all of the local stores! We made multiple trips to each shop. The worker at Four Corners was amazing, helpful and super kind! We all got a kick out of how many times we came in and looked. In the end their knowledge and friendliness won us over. Had leaky roof after heavy, prolonged rain. Water was coming down the wall near wood stove pipe at ceiling. Spoke with the folks at 4 Corners at 10:30am. Joel showed up at 1:00pm and got straight to work. So far, so good. Thanks to Joel and the folks at 4 Corners for such quick service.

If you want something done don’t call these guys. Months of no progress, multiple no show appointments and zero communication.

Upon order and deposit I was told gas insert would arrive in a week and it took over a month.Sales and service department confirmed an 8:45 to 9:00 arrival time the night before for installation. Got a call from an unknown installer at 9:00 saying they were still in Durango and about to go pick up supplies for the install. I requested to talk to sales and Service Mgr and left messages for both and the owner. No calls returned. An hour later unknown installer calls back saying he was not showing up and cancelling my order. His stated reason for doing so was because he didn’t like the way I talked to him. I guess one is just to hang out all day wondering if anyone is serious about showing up.Many hours were wasted with sales person as he was always coming up with new reasons to charge more for the job. Insisted that I pay for their chimney sweep service on a chimney flue that was new and had never been used. Nice that he thought that I should pay them $75 hour for the 1/2 hour drive and placed no value on the time I waited for their no show installer.

If you go here make sure you talk to Richard he is great and so is the staff and owner

A good selection of stoves and spas, but disorganized, untrained, and sometimes just rude service. I wish their staff were more knowledgeable and more professional.

Excellent customer service and they had the parts I needed.

I had to have their service department come out 4 times this spring and they were never were able to fix an airflow issue with my pellet stove. I finally had Ashes Away come out today and they found two chambers that were caked full of ash that Four Corners had never cleaned. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars is they did only charge me $100 even though they came out 4 times (but never fixed the issue).

They are so professional and nice.
