Wonderful experience. Claire met us at the park and made sure that I was able to ride the tandem bike I rented for myself and my daughter. I was having trouble with it, so she swapped it out for an easier and smaller bike. She made sure I was able to ride it and provided helmets and a lock so we could lock it up after we were done. The bike was great and very fun to ride. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are both 73. We bike the rail trails back home, but never experienced an e-bike before. It took less than a minute to get completely comfortable. We did the Animas trail 1 and 1/2 times in 2 hours. So much fun! Drop off and pick up went smoothly. Would do it again in heartbeat. Highly recommend!!!

This is a cant miss activity in Durango!Everything about Roll was easy. We called and talked to Claire a few days in advance, got all of our questions answered and made our reservations.On the day of our rental, the bikes were delivered to us, yes...delivered to us! The bikes were made by Rad and were in good shape. In fact, 2 of the bikes were very new with less than a 100 miles on them. Mechanically, the bikes were in great shape. Wheels were true, brakes operated as designed, and gears (derailleur) were flawless. Very safe to ride!The electric motor was very simple to operate, tap up for more power or down if less power needed.Each bike had a rear storage rack, a frame mounted bag with a few tools, a water bottle cage, a lock, and a helmets. 2 folks in our group are novice cyclists but Claire did a wonderful job explaining everything about the bikes. Our group ranged from 6 2 down to 5 4 and the bikes were easy to adjust (which made the riding that much more fun when the bike fits).Durango is a bike friendly town. We rode a lot of the Animas River Trail, had lunch on Main Street, a beer at Animas Brewing, thru the downtown neighborhood, and capped off our day with the view of the city fromthe Ft. Lewis campus! When we were done, we locked the bikes up and texted Claire and she came and got them...I cant stress how easy this was.A great day, super easy rental process, and a great town to explore...we couldnt asked for more. We cant wait to go back and rent again!!!

I was so appreciative to have an e-bike option as I am a few months out from a knee replacement. It was perfect- I could still join my friends on a beautiful ride around Durango. Found a place in Durango that did tandem bikes and it was also an E-Bike that made it easy to go up hills. Super fun on a date and highly recommend. They showed up on time and were flexible in their pickup schedule and helped train how to ride the tandem before we started. Definitely would do again next time I am in Durango!

We wanted to rent bikes to enjoy the Durango area on our recent vacation. We discovered Roll by searching Google and looking for great reviews. Roll really stood out, so we booked for later that evening (this was a mid week day). What a great experience it turned out to be! We were met with the bikes(they deliver and pick up!! Huge plus) near the Animas river trail and given instructions how to operate the bikes. (This was our first experience with ebikes). The bikes were awesome, really fun and felt sturdy and well maintained.When we were finished with our 2 hours, we used the provided locks to lock them to a bike rack at the pick up location. Super simple, fast and easyBottom line, great customer service, quality bikes and a real value for the money! I highly recommend them.

Absolutely perfect! Claire and I communicated via text message and my husband and I rented two eBikes for 8 hours. She met us at our AirBnB, gave us a short lesson and then we were off for an amazing adventure! Renting the eBikes was my absolute favorite thing I did in Durango. We stopped for coffee on Main Street, biked the 30 miles to Bakers Bridge (Claire gave great directions to put in the notes section of our phone), stopped at the Animas Brewing Company and watched the train go by, and then finished the Animal Trail for a full day of 45 miles of eBiking. I could have gone longer! It was so much fun!

We were just in Durango for the weekend, but we wanted to see the town and explore. This was a great way to do that in a short amount of time. The owner was very accommodating and gave us 2 bikes even though it was last minute. It was my first time riding an e-bike, and I thought I would prefer a regular bike, but we rode up a few hills and it was SO nice to have that extra power! These can cruise pretty fast and were super fun. Highly recommend!!

Clair, the owner, was lovely to work with, delivered bikes and helmets, gave a few tips, and sent us on our way. I recommend at least four hours, there is that much to see, the river trail is beautiful and you will have time to stop for a beer at a riverside brewery. Cheers!

Renting an e-Bike was a great experience. Bikes were delivered to our door and we got much more range than expected. Claire was flexible and accommodating. We really enjoyed the Animas river trial and 250 - 203 loop. Highly recommended.

We loved our short but sweet e-bike rentals from ROLL!! We had them for 2 hours which was just enough time to do the river trail back and forth, and back again from the DoubleTree. We decided to try out a tandem bike for the first time which was quite the experience! They delivered the bikes to us and gave us some time to practice on the tandem and give us pointers in the parking lot before letting us run loose in town on it. If youre considering the tandem, just do it. Once we got the hang of it, it was awesome (for me in the back at least), and we got all sorts of special attention on the trail which made everyone crack jokes and smile. My only comment is that, although the price is competitive with other companies, I think the price was a little steep for a short 2-hour rental. E-bikes in Denver through Uber go for $1 per 30 min and $.30 after, so $65 for 2 hours seemed a bit steep in comparison. That said, we wouldnt change a thing!

Weve enjoyed our first two beautifully presented deliveries!The first week was delicious pasta from Primi and last night was some super yummy coconut curry from Zawadi. The greens were super fresh, the food was warm and the goodies were a nice little treat -- and since there are only 3 of us, and the meals are for 4, weve even had leftovers for lunch.We really appreciated the cute little olive oil and hand sanitizer spray bonus offerings -- how fun!Best Part -- I didnt have to do any cooking. (Monday cant get here soon enough)

We met at the double tree to get our pedego for 2. She taught us both how to ride it. We got the one that can go fully on battery as we have bad knees. LOTS of pretty scenery with several places to stop and take a break. In 4 hours we road all 11 miles of the trail and up to the college. Would highly recommend for a low key, fun, less expensive thing to do.

Last week I had the opportunity to try out the ROLL eBike experience with my friend Claire. After brief and clear instructions we were off and enjoying the freedom of riding bikes in our beautiful community. The bike was comfortable and easy to handle. I was able to pedal when I wanted and use the boost of the throttle when wanting a little extra speed. It was a fabulous and delightful way to get around town. I rented an electric bike for my mom. The rental process was easy and smooth. The owner dropped off the electric bike at our house and gave great instructions to my mom. My mom loved riding the bike, pedaling when she wanted and using power to cruise up the hills. We had a great day riding around Durango!

Claire met us at the Best Western on 2nd avenue and brought an interceptor and cruiser. She showed us how to use the bikes and we rode around Durango for 4 hours. We went up and down the river, around the campus, and through the neighborhoods. We locked the bikes up near our hotel and we were done. Loved every minute of it.

My husband and I rented the bikes for 4 hours and had a great time. Claire met us in the parking lot of our hotel and gave us a tutorial of the bikes. It took me a little longer than my husband to become accustomed to the bike. Claire was patient in letting me ride around the lot to get comfortable before heading out. She didnt start our time until we actually got on the trail from the parking lot.The model bike we rode was heavier and had higher wheels than Im used to, which made mounting and dismounting difficult. To be fair, Im a little over 51, so a taller person probably wouldnt have as much trouble. I definitely would ride an electric bike again and I definitely would rent from ROLL again.

My wife and I enjoyed the tandem bike on the river trail in Durango. We opted to pedal assist on a couple of the grades but cruised right along using only battery power on the majority of the ride! Clair set up delivery and picked the bike up when we were done. Will likely one day try it again!

ROLL is such an amazing company! They use solar power to charge each bike, deliver the bikes right to your door, and really care about what they do! I am a local photographer that had the pleasure of photographing ROLLs ad photos and also got to ride one of their awesome bikes! Such a blast!

(My daughter rode on a tandem bike with my husband.) We never could have rode regular bikes up that hill! There was a beautiful view of Durango at the top. We all had huge smiles on our faces the entire time and felt very safe but it was still a thrill to be riding a bike that has some power! Claire was helpful in getting us set up with the right bikes for our need and Lou called 10 minutes ahead of his scheduled arrival time to confirm a drop-off location. He spent 15-20 minutes during the safety briefing and demo and made sure our questions were answered. The bikes were everything we expected and more and we had a great time touring around Durango in style. We will definitely rent from Roll again!

We were in Durango for a week with family and my wife and I rented these bikes for a day. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. What really sold me (and made it awesome) was the helpful guidance of Claire of where to go for a longer ride. We went through the Animas Valley, to Bakers Bridge, to James Ranch (great burger and coconut soda, and got a steak for later) for lunch and back. It was a beautiful ride and I am so grateful Claire had that recommendation for us. The bikes made it super easy and we were able to see a beautiful part of Durango we otherwise wouldnt have. Great for couples that want the bike ride perspective but maybe cant ride that far for whatever reason. Really worked well for me. Thanks ROLL!

Wonderful hassle-free experience. My bike was delivered promptly with plenty of time for instruction and practice before I took off on the Animas River Trail. With flat stretches, small and long, LARGER hills, there were numerous opportunities to use the different features of an ebike. I especially liked the boost option because it kicked in quickly when riding up a short hill and I didnt have to switch from 1 to 2 to 3 to get that little extra push. My wife and I have been dying to try out an ebike. We read an article in the Durango Herald about Roll. Contacted the company and rented 2 Pedego Interceptors. I will tell you this, this first time the assist kicks in you are going to be truly amazed. It is a hoot. We stayed on them for almost five hours. The Pedego ebikes that Roll rents are top notch. Great machines in great condition. The delivery driver Lew was there ahead of schedule and made sure we understood the operation of all components. There is a learning curve to be sure and he made it much easier. All I can say is if your thinking about doing this, dont hesitate. You will not be disappointed. Great service by Roll!
