I came in here for an oil change, the technician told me I had a crack in my radiator. I went out and bought a new radiator, settled in my shop with my tools and could not find a leak anywhere. I should have checked after I pulled out of the shop, but I assumed he would know what he was talking about. Your business probably should not scare people like that. So disappointing.

Great and quick for NYS inspections. Only issue is you call to see if there doing inspections on a given day and you think your talking to the store and your actually talking to corporate. They say yes we are and you go to the location and no theyre not.

Went in there with my cousins car they pointed out a few things that were wrong even though I knew how to fix them, they wouldnt pass an inspection. However the staff was awesome loved everybody there they work with me I fix the windshield wiper can replace the light bulb. They turned around re-inspected by car and then told me certain things about the state that I didnt know.Took my second car in there they found the problem is that I missed and told me they could fix it for like 30 bucks where I thought itd be like 1,500. These people are awesome and I will continue to be there every time I need any service on all five of my vehicle

Inspector and staff were very professional and friendly. Inspection was done in a timely manner and checked everything. Had to get some new windshield wipers, better that than a ticket. They had them on hand and were installed within a matter of minutes. Would recommend.

Amazing and helpful staff ..most importantly they guys here at Valvoline are honest mechanics and care about their customers repeat and new alike I wish they offered wheel alignments because I know I can trust these guys better than the guys at Mavis that did my last alignment

I stopped by here on a cross country road trip. This was a good experience with technicians that were attentive and did a good job. There recommendations were reasonable and they were spot on with the services my car did and didnt need at that time. I appreciated the friendly staff as well as the honest service. If I was in the area I would go here again.

Mike the store manager was a tremendous help after my brother came through his shop in an emergency. He was driving across the country moving his family from Illinois to Vermont. His jeep was over heating and causing him issues. Mike and the mechanics at the shop got him in right away with no hassle. Topped off all his fluids, pumped his tires full of air, and changed a few filters. They didnt charge him a dime to do this. This day and age it is tough to find honest and dependable people. I highly recommend the guys at Valvoline for any of your needs! Thanks again Mike for helping my brother and his family in a tough stop. Greatly appreciated!

$69.00 oil change. Corporate headquarters immediately responded to my concerns and sent me a generous discount coupon to utilize in the future. Communications could have been handled more responsibly. Undisclosed surcharges were applied for ”extra oil” that I was not exposed to during prior visits. Specific oil brands and pricing were not discussed prior to service. It was evident that fluids weren’t effectively or attentively checked during service, and it was necessary for me to request this service. Regretfully, I was not able to locate any Dunkirk/Fredonia oil change discount promotions, although other locations (outside the area) did offer specials. The team members have always been attentive and respectful to my service needs in the past, but this particular visit did not meet up to my expectations.

First time I came here the manager on duty tried to lie to me and tell me that conventional oil doesnt work in my car. I called her out on it and have never had an issue since. The service is always fast and they are very helpful.

Im a repeat customer and used to recommend others to take their vehicles here. Today that all STOPS! I was denied an inspection at 2:43 this afternoon (10/3/17) because the manager leaves at 3:00 and it takes 45 min to do an inspection!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Couldnt get me in the first day but told me when to come back. Got me in right away and checked things normally not checked during a state inspection. They gave me a couple heads ups and pointers to keep my car safe and running.

Effective January 1st 2017, examination of tinted or shaded windows will be required during motor vehicle inspections. A video about this change is available on YouTube.Section 375 (12-a) of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law does not allow a windshield or front side windows that are dark.The windshield and front side windows cannot block more than 30% of the light.Seventy percent or more of the light from the outside must pass through the window.This law also applies to the rear window unless the vehicle has outside rear-view mirrors on both sides.The mirrors must give the driver a full and clear view behind the vehicleThey would not pass my vehicle even though it is a passenger car. This was upsetting and bogus. Two other inspection stations also said this was false.

Super friendly manager. Staff forgot about our car even though we were sitting out front. Took over an hour for a 20 minute oil change. They were apologetic and knocked a few bucks off but wasted about 45 minutes here.

Tried to get my car inspected 12/30/17. Called in the day before to make sure they could do it today and they said they could. Got there at around 10a.m. and they told me I needed to get tired first before they would inspect my car so I did. Returned thier at noon and I was told that the inpector was on lunch and would not be there for an hour and half. Returned there again at 1:15 and waited 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged me just to tell me the inpection machine is down. I was never able to get my car inspected. I trusted these guys and they completemy let me down.
