Over the phone sales rep blatantly lied to me about a Free Trial of Mobile TV service, I went into the Dunkirk location to resolve the issue and the rep I spoke with was very helpful and understanding with my situation and resolved the issue quickly. I would recommend coming in here over calling as the reps in store are way more helpful than the phone agents.

I wish I could do 0 stars. The 1 star is for their everyday employees who are just working to pay bills, I guess. I hope those people find another job. Terrible company, expensive and unfortunately the only relevant ISP in my area. If you have a choice, dont choose Spectrum.

Father just got service. Technician spent over a half hour inside his house.. No mask. My dad is 73 with underlying conditions and not one to be assertive. Afterwards, he suggested to the technician that he should have worn a mask. The guy said, too late now?. I just got the same service and read me disclaimer about Covid-19. That is really disrespectful and irresponsible.

Here is Spectrums latest apparent scam. This exact scenario happened to me twice in the last month. I went in to gather information to see if I wanted to renew my TV service after cancelling it because I had to leave town for five months and needed to lower my bill. Both times I went in and asked for the numbers and information. Both times they asked me if I wanted to sign up. Both times I said no, because I wanted to go home and discuss with the wife. BOTH TIMES they sent me an email notifying me of a change of service listing the new TV services I was going to get on my bill. BOTH TIMES they changed my Spectrum online web account to reflect the changes I had not authorized. BOTH TIMES I went back to ask why I had new services on my account that I had not authorized. BOTH TIMES the customer service representative said no changes had been made. Not 20 minutes after I had left their office to complain about the new charges, I received an email telling me my changes had been cancelled. The second time I went, I had all the paperwork printed out to show the customer rep, and she looked at it all like it was written in a foreign language, refusing to admit what was there in black and white. I actually asked the customer rep to send me the cancellation email, and she said she was unable to do so, since nothing had changed. Lo and behold, 20 minutes after leaving the office, the cancellation email arrived. BOTH TIMES the customer reps said they had no idea why the changes I INQUIRED ABOUT and had NOT authorized showed up on my Spectrum online account. The customer representatives are either lying or have no accountability for these actions. I think Spectrum is setting up these new and UNAUTHORIZED services when you inquire in the hope that you dont notice its been done. When you go in to complain, the customer reps know nothing and can do nothing, but when you leave, as if by magic the changes are eliminated. This is some outright BS, and in my opinion, an attempted scam on the part of Spectrum, so beware!! Hello, YouTube TV!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are a terrible company that doesnt care about the customer, except their money. They will slow your service down randomly and youll have to call them back up to speed it up. After speeding it up, it will be slow again in another week and youll have to repeat this process over and over again. Secondly, their customer service is terrible. I talked with several different agents on the phone and all of them gave me a different response and quoted me on a different price of what I should be paying for my service. Finally, this brings me to my last point of their insane billing practices. They draw you in with a low price then slowly keep raising it over time. In fact, I talked to a customer service agent and they said I should be paying less for my service after finding out I over paying for my current service, but refused to amend my bill to what I should have been paying all along. They also decreased my service speed and stated that in order to get the same or higher speed, I would now have to pay more for an upgraded service fee.This company, whether you want to call it Time Warner Cable or Spectrum, is extremely dishonest and untrustworthy. If you have the ability to go with another option, please do.

Only reason it even gets a star is because 0 stars isnt an option. Terrible service. Trash representatives. You dont hang up on a customer just because you gave the customer wrong information. What am I paying so much money for if Im not getting the service? Service hasnt worked since I started getting it! Throttling my service and then being confused when Im livid like I cant test my connection myself. Trash. Trash. Trash. My mobile hotspot works better than this trash does. Definitely going some where else. If interested in time warner/spectrum Do Not Do it. Explore all your possible options first and use this company only as a last resort. I feel so sorry for those who have no other providers around them.

Only three stars because they are a cable company and like to talk about their super speed internet that actually is fast but then stops streaming mid way through a show and then have to fast forward to find where you left off. But as far as the store. Super easy to go into and deal with any issue, the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about the services. Beats a contract with Verizon that locks you in.

Price gouging monopoly. No reason for prices to be this high, then it doubles after one year, then it keep going up 4 dollars a month after that. After you call them about they say There is nothing we can do about it since our tv broadcasting fee increases, it gets passed down to you. which is an absolute lie. This company keeps to gtfo and let a better cable company take over. #optimum

Spectrum appseems to keep going off and picture is always fuzzy. Especially. On the canadian channels im tired of callung for service. The last time the service guy really. Didnt. Know what .he was doing. Ge left the clver our side off and all he knew was how to check the speeds on the wire i had to call spectrum to get the help over the phone .dont get spwctrun if you can go somewhere else maybe dish

We have had Time Warner internet service for several years in the Westfield, NY area & have been rather pleased over all. Much like with any service, we wish the price could be lower & the service 100% perfect but reality dictates that the occasional problem may come up. We have enjoyed pretty good customer service for the most part & the field repair/service techs have always been great to deal with.

Why the hell are your people installing cable service at 11 pm at night. We live in a trailer park and people are trying to sleep to get up at 4a.m. for work. Let alone kids bedrooms are right there. If you close at 5 then you obviously dont come installing cable at 11pm at night. Have some respect.

CABLE NAZIS! This company is horrible. They dont tell you your being put into a promo deal until your bill magically goes up with nothing at all on any billing statements. And they give out outdated routers and charge 10$ a month. I have not expierenced a the slightest amount of customer service. Just a bunch of give us more money and we will pretend to get things resolved. Its a shame time warner/spectrum is the only non-satellite ISP in my area. $85.79 for a slow cable internet is ridiculous. Wish DirecTV could provide me with internet.

They cancelled another persons account without that persons knowledge. All because they had the bill in hand. Never paid the balance due & opened an account in their name!! They should use the same security questions as if you were calling customer service. Needless to say, the unpaid balance went to collections unbeknownst to the actual account holder. Shame shame!
