I am so blessed to have my path crossed with Mr. Chisms. He is truly anointed and speaks to my life in a way that no one else can. I must admit my first few sessions with him were not comfortable because he digs in ALL OF YOUR BUSINESS to reach your source of pain. But if you cant be real with yourself then its a waist or everyones time and YOUR MONEY. He is worth every dime and more! I searched for many months to find a good therapist for our teenage daughter. Mr. Chism is the best and we would rate higher than five stars if we could. He works hard to get to the root cause of the problem and superficial answers are not allowed.He has real conversations withe the patient and the family. I only wish we had found him sooner. Mr. Chism is a God-send! If you want a real experience Mr. Chism is the best option for a counselor. He is passionate about helping people even when it means discussing the hard stuff. You cannot overcome what youre not willing to address and I appreciate him for it. He challenges you to think and I like that he gives assignments! For me the assignments help connect the dots and discover things I didnt know or want to accept about myself.

I can’t even explain my experience outside of saying the WORST counseling session ever!!I went to support my mate and was told on several occasions by the Therapist within the first 15 minutes that I was negative, closed off, cold and presented red flags before he could even remember my name...He also stated that he’s been counseling for 30 years but his license only goes back 9 years so I’m confusedCalling yourself a man of God (in a non-Christian therapy session) and tearing people down is not my definition of effective counseling...I pray for him and hope that he gets the counseling he needs to practice effectively and without judgement (within state guidelines) before he loses his license.

God brought me to Mr. Chism at Innovative Centered Counseling just at the right time in my life. I was struggling with my self worth and issues in my family. Mr. Chism had a different approach to counseling that I had never experienced before. He dealt in the therapy of pain and it totally changed my view on life and the things I had done. Though I was not able to stop my divorce he helped me see why I did the things I did and why my wife did the things she did and how we responded to each other. God doesnt always give you the answer to your prayer the way you want it answered but God answers your prayers in the way you need them answered. Terrible experience. Breaking people down to build them up is not a tactic that works for people already broken. I walked in feeling hopeful walked out feeling hopeless. Never ever been through anything like this before be careful. If your good at what you do you its not necessary to break down to build up. You should meet people where they are. Never image I would walk away feeling disempowered.
