This place once was a nice place. Do not take your car here if you care about it. I tried them twice and both times they cost me more because I had to take it to another shop to get fixed. The manager does not take responsibility for any mistakes made and will never say they are wrong. They get your money and say you have another problem also... Bad place please avoid!!!

I highly do not recommend this business. They r tremendously overpriced, especially for women. They charged me 900 to replace lower arm control unit. I went to another mechanic who used same parts warehouse LDQ and paid less than half 375.00. I returned to mankind to get an alignment. They said I needed to purchase two tires, mind u they sale used and new tires, however stated mine had to be ordered. A good Samaritan paid for my services, meddling used her vehicle to drop us both off at home awaiting repairs. The kind lady confirmed that she had paid for my services. However, meadlin kept my car til 6 pm and demanded punt from ME. This happened on Good Friday . The police had to be called because I refused to pay and my car had not been serviced. This shop owner is unprofessional, and greedy and well overpriced and not to be trusted. He took great advantage of single females needing quick simple repairs.For the love of money is evil!

Took 2 cars to get brakes done. Professional and courteous. On my second car they were to resurface the brakes & replace the brake pads. 1 week after I got car back brakes were grinding. Took car back and they look at brakes and adjusted with no problem. Week later still had brake issues. Had to take car to dealer were they corrected the braking problem.

The service was amazing. The prices were amazing. The knowledge was amazing. I went to the dealership and was quoted for $900 and when I got the quote for Meadlin’s it was about $300. It really helped me out a lot and they have the greatest service for a car dealership I have been to since I moved to Dallas in 2013.

Places like this .. love to get over women! I went here today thinking I was going to need new front brakes. I had just gotten new brakes and rotors put on all around on March 4th, but my front right brakes was grinding. I took it to the previous place and was told I purchased bad brakes. So I went purchased more brakes and took it here. He told me $70 for the front brakes. The guy checks the front tire and was like you don’t need brakes. I told him my front right tire was grinding. He test drove the car and said yes he heard it. He took off the tire and said they forgot to put one of your bolt back on the caliber. He said let me get a bolt and put it on that should work. He found a bolt put it on and he was done. The owner said, that’s $60 ! I said for a bolt? He said yes, he had to take the tire off and all this other bull. Let me just go back to when I was there. There was an Hispanic guy came in and said his air goes in and out and he wanted him to look at it. They looked at his car for $0 and told him everything that was wrong so the guy can say.. I’ll bring it back! It’ll come back on them though!!!

Have had new engine installed by them, down to set of tires, ( which by the way ) were cheaper, for the exact same brand as Discount Tires, and they dont charge for install! A close personal friend of mine went here after I replaced his rack and pinion. He needed an alignment. I forgot the locking nuts for the tie rods. The charged him for an hour extra labor to add two nuts before the tie rod ends. I called 4 other shops to check and see if they would charge extra to replace those nuts. They told me that adjusting the tie rods for an alignment should be included that all the work to add the nuts would be done on an alignment anyway. They may help some but they are perfectly willing to lie and steal any amount they can. I would make sure you know what you are being charged for before leaving your car with them. If I could give them less than 1 star I would...

LOW LIVES THAT CAN NOT BE TRUSTED WAS CHARGED 53$ FOR 5 QUARTS OF TRANSMISSION FLUID EXCEPT THEY HAD PURCHASED GALLONS ON MY DIME...TOOK THEM A DODGE DURANGO THAT WENT FORWARD AND REVERSE WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK IT NO LONGER WENT IN REVERSE BARELY ENOUGH FOR ME TO GET THE TRUCK OFF THEIR PROPERTY.

I cant think of any other repair shop in the DFW area that is as attentive at Meadlins Car Repair. I am a very hard to please customer and they got it right both times. I had a very delicate issue with the undercarriage and power steering leak that they fixed, and had my car running like new. Then the insurance company was giving me some problems and they were so kind to still work with me and guarantee my repairs. I had a choice to take my car this last time to the Dealership or to Meadlins. I recommend them to everyone

Pleased with the service. Affordable and great overall experience at Medlins. It would have cost me over 100 dollars to get headlight fixed and called multiple shops that had around the same price. Medlins did the work for 95 and the mechanics there are funny and upfront about issues on the vehicles. I also had check engine light on and had to get inspections. Some kind of emission code. Alvin the inspection guy was able to narrow this down in a few hours after driving over 60 miles light never came back on. I most definitely will be bringing my car back for any mechanical issues here on out.

I went to get my 1997 lexus es 300 car alignment everything seemed good got upnext day went to work forgot something at home made a u turn just to find out my steering wheel had not been aligned (centered) Correctly i drove up on the side walk could have killed my self or a person walking to schoolThank god no one was in the way went back told him showed him did nothing about it refused to fix it could have told me my rack in pinion shaft was not centered. In stead aligned my car let me drive off knowing it was unsafe an could have had a major accident.( Drove to my house jacked my car up to see the damage the bellow boot on my rack in pinion was all mangled an twisted wish could cause damage it clearly showed that the guy who adjusted the alignment didnt know what he what he was doing) i just took off my tire today they suck dont get alignment there they will damage things so you can go back an they can charge. You more

Driving 5 hours to my daughters house on July 4th weekend, the air conditioning on my Toyota Mini-Van went out just 1 hour from her house. It was late Friday and nothing we could do but keep driving with the windows down. The next morning on Saturday July 2nd, my son-in-law did a Google search for auto air conditioning repair shops close by his house. He found Meadlins Car Care in the area. I was amazed that Meadlins Car Care was even open, since most of the repair shops were closed for the July 4th Holidays. The service I received was absolutely phenomenal! The owner, Nash, agreed to look at the car to diagnose the problem, then agreed to repair the air conditioner on the same day, Saturday on July 4th weekend. The repair charge was a really fair price with no holiday price gouging. Just a normal routine price. I went to the shop just before noon. Nash greeted me. I asked if he could repair the van that same day because it was a very hot weekend and I did not want to drive 5 hours back home in the heat. He said he would do every thing he could to get me on the road with air conditioning for the trip home. He got the vehicle in. diagnosed the problem, told me what was wrong and told me the price to repair it I agreed to the price. The shop normally closes at 3 PM, however, Nash stated they would stay open as late as necessary to complete the repairs. He went above and beyond getting the parts in and installing them in a short period of time. For all of this fantastic service I did not have to drive 5 hours home in a hot car. Thank you, Nash and your employees for a job well done and excellent customer service. This a very honest repair center and I can not imagine that he would be less than honest with anyone. This is a good shop if you want an illegal inspection. I mean they will literally pass your car if you pay 70 dollars. They pull a little white car into the bay plug your cars information in and walla your done suprises me that the havent been busted by dps yet. Other than that this shop is pretty much useless for its mechanical knowledge. Especially the owner nash he is a complete idiot. They ruiend the transmission in my ford Taurus because nash told me i needed a flush and i believed him. I would give zero stars if i couldve.Thumbs down

They work at their own pace. They have had my car for 3 weeks and continue to tell me its something else wrong everytime I ask about the progress with my car. Ive bought and returned 3 parts because they dont know whats wrong. Their prices arent as reasonable as they say. The diagnostics that they give are as poor as possible because they still cant manage to even find out whats wrong with my ABS system. They have inconveinced me soo much Im towing my car somewhere else. I do not recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and find another place to go.
