I am rewriting my review of this company. I’m not sure exactly how to rate it as far as star ratings go. If I were to rate two individuals associated with this company those being Melissa and Krista I would give them a 5 star rating and in my opinion they turned our experience around, we greatly appreciate all they did for us! They were extremely professional in every way and their response time and communication as well as dedication was remarkable. OSNational should be extremely grateful for these ladies being on their team. Now as far as the company as a whole, I went from a 1 star to a 3 star solely due to Melissa and Krista. If you use this company I can fully attest to their work ethic and you will be in great hands. This company has a ways to go on bettering certain areas of how they operate. OSNational has not been the easiest and from our past experiences with other title companies the paper work and procedures part is more difficult and time consuming. As investors we understand the importance and how necessary legal work is, and for us this companies ability to accomplish those issues could be improved and dealt with in a more timely manner. I was glad that once issues were brought to their attention when our file was handed over to Melissa and Krista they were handled quickly. A company can only change for the better when problems are brought to their attention and I feel this company is working to improve. If we had had Melissa on our file from the beginning my star rating would of Been a 4 and I do not think we would of faced as many issues. Thank you again Melissa and Krista we truly appreciate all your hard work.
In the process of selling our home to Open Door, we had no choice in title companies. We are working with Alexandria, and it has been the worst experience. Closing has been postponed, no phone calls returned. We were told 48 hours before our first closing date that we needed a new survey. We were supposed to sign yesterday and close tomorrow and STILL have not heard back from her. Phone calls to the OS National Office go to voicemail....no one seems to be in touch here! Our Open Door agent is not in the loop as far as what goes on with the title company. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.!!
Thank you Jasmine Riddick for being helpful and supportive during the entire closing process. You put my heart at ease. Thank you so much .
This company closed on my grandmothers home on a Thursday. They were supposed to wire transfer funds on Friday. Friday came no funds. Monday came no funds. The staff has been unresponsive, un helpful. Avoid Opendoor, and this title company. 15% SERVICE fee to buy your house is a scam any ways.
I am a real estate agent from Las Vegas and had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with this company due to the buyers choice of selection. I represented the seller and everything went relatively smooth until the closing statement came out where the proration numbers were all wrong. The escrow officer, Jada Cooper, did not know how to adjust these numbers and refused to answer my phone calls or e-mails. She was not professional in any sense but would totally ignored my pleas to respond. I had to contact another officer to help out and it took 3 days past the deadline to finally get the job done. Please save yourself from headaches or frustrations and find another company at all costs.
My closing has been moved twice because of them! I understand being backed up but the lack of information until the last minute threw all kinds of wrenches in my military move!! If you’d like to close at a glacial place then they’re the company for you!
Same experience as the previous post- using Opendoor with no choice for title company. Our home closing has been delayed, and no one seems to know whats going on. The entire staff is completely clueless and doesnt respond.
OS national is a poor title company. They do not follow the final ALTA and make the correct payouts to all parties. I dont trust Opendoor nor OS National
Title company does not pay the estoppel fees nor sends a warranty deed when they close on a property to the association company. Unable to get a response from the title company.**They finally sent us a check and it is short the estoppel fees.
Communication is almost non-existent. They have delayed now 2 closings over 3-4 weeks due to needing documents that had been sent over multiple times. It is like pulling teeth trying to get answers from them and actually getting to the closing table. I would avoid this company and go with someone with quality customer care and professionalism.
Great job, OS National! You made a difficult process a walk in the park for me! Hats off to you all! And thank you so much. I knew every step of the way what was going on with my closing process. Your staff ROCKS!! I highly recommend your services to anyone!!
They were so easy to work with, kept in touch via email (and phone); and the paperwork process was the smoothest (and quickest) I have ever experienced with a closing! Required little time and effort on my part. Very pleased, and would recommend.
We had a VIP treatment! Customer Service was A+! This company has well trained their associates. I had a pleasure to had FABIOLA taking care of my case and let me tell this to you! She went above and beyond . Extremely patient and polite professional. She was definitely available to answer our questions and request. Anyways, FABIOLA is a rock star and my family and I wish an outstanding success in her brilliant professional life!THANK OS National and FABIOLA helping us to get our AMERICAN DREAM :)
If i could give them less than one star i would.this company is horrible, avoid them if all possible. They never give all of the information up front. You end up talking to more than one person and have to wait so the next person can GET CAUGHT UP. I ended up selling to a different person so i didnt have to deal with them. They said that since my mom died 2 days before the county clerk office stamped the transfer deed( even though we did the paperwork before she passed) that they need all kinds of paperwork to prove the house is really mine.Good luck if you are going through this title company
Unresponsive, hidden fees and lack of explanation. Horrible experience as a first time home buyer.
Ive been dealing with OSN National (GA) for almost 3 months now trying to get title clear on my property so that I can close on a loan. Needless to say my experience has been horrible! This is a title company but yet there is a different department for every little thing and one department has no idea what the other is doing. Getting a call back from the title curative person working on my file is a joke! I have never encountered such un-professionalism in all my years of dealing in real estate. I deeply regret not choosing a different title company when I was asked, instead I let my lender choose. I plan to just start the process all over and advise anyone who even thinks there may be some sort of cloud on your title to take your business elsewhere. If I could give no stars I would!
Very helpful team, always there to help when me and my wife sold our house.
Found out about 2 weeks before I was supposed to close that they needed probate documents since I owned the house with my late husband, which was purchased before we were married. He had been gone a little over 2 years and I never went through probate. I didnt think Id have a problem selling the house being that my name was also on it. I contacted a lawyer and it was explained to me that they were right, the deed was not worded with survivorship rights so I needed a court proceeding to continue with the sell. The reason for the one star review is that even after getting a court order stating that I can immediately proceed with the sell of the real estate, they are trying to tell me I need to go through probate. The judge ruled that the house does not have to go through probate because the statute of limitations has passed for creditors to come forward. My life has been in limbo over this and even after spending lots of $$$ in legal fees some idiot employee of this company thinks they know more than my local probate judge. Furthermore they have no sense of urgency in getting this resolved when I have the sellers of my new home, real estate agents, friends and family to potentially help with the move all waiting for a response. I will lose the contract on my new home if this drags out much longer and will be suing for damages if this happens.
OSNational. Was so very helpful and supportive, I had POA issues as my wife was hospitalized in the Philippines OSN helped me navigate through and finally closed after many delays on my end, I’m glad I called these folks !
Very professional, team player, ahead on every move.
I will not recommend this title company. It has been a horribly disorganized experience and they have no sense or urgency. Probably one of the worst closing experiences in my career.
Beautiful office, great people - truly one of the best title examination companies in the East!
I was very disappointed with the lack of communication from the employees of this company. I am the Realtor representing a seller and repeatedly had to request a copy of title work, closing information, etc. I left voice mails with no return calls. Very unprofessional.
Great place for closing on a home
