We worked with Jim Bentley at Derry Brothers of Dubuque on our BMW purchase. He was great! He took the time to answer all of our questions over multiple visits and he never made us feel pressured. He has always been very timely on follow up items. He (and Mike) were extremely knowledgeable on the various options we had put in our build and provided suggestions to make sure we got what we wanted but didn’t include items that were really not needed. Very anxious to get our 2022 SUV in so we can start enjoying it. Highly recommend Jim😊😊Yesterday we had our scheduled return visit to get rock guards installed and answer any questions we had so far on the vehicle. We were very happy with everyone we worked with. Service Manager (forgot his name) was great, Jim did a great job answering our questions, and Mike even came in on his day off to walk through a paperwork issue with us (not the fault of dealership) along with the gal doing the paperwork. Everyone has been wonderful and highly recommend this dealership!! P.S. we love our new M5 and our Z4!!

After looking at cars in the Chicago area with no luck, we noticed a CPO 2018 BMW 330i at Derry Brothers BMW in Dubuque. We arrived ten minutes before they closed. We test drove, negotiated deal, finalized financing, and drove off under two hours. Mark Simmons and his Sales Manager were great to deal with.I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

I took my vehicle in for multiple things. One being the seatbelt keeps dinging as I’m driving my car. At first they said they could not duplicate. I was to drive my car and if it was dinging I was to reach over and try to buckle the passenger seat, As I’m driving Which I said was not a safe nor reasonable solution. Another issue was, when my car was parked, my car wouldn’t let me back up. The sensors were going off and the β€œ Emergency braking system” must have kept me from backing up. I turned my car on and off multiple times. I got out to check the surrounding area. There was nothing there. Unfortunately I could not go forward, because I was parked up against a median. I called the shop. No one answered. I left a message. At 3:30 PM in the afternoon. I didn’t receive a call until the next day. Finally, after about 5-10 minutes my car finally let me back up. Once again this cannot be duplicated. This issue has happened to me twice now. My 7 series was there for almost 3 weeks. After week two I sent a text and left a voicemail regarding the status of my vehicle. I heard nothing back from the service manager. Last Friday I finally received my car back. I know the service manager drove it multiple times. I was left with a car on fuel reserve. I returned the X7 (which they let me drive)with a half a tank of gas, just as I received it.I have been told the seatbelt issue has been fixed. But not the back up issue. They found a bulletin regarding this issue ( the seat belt). But not the back up issue. I googled bulletins for this vehicle and found that there are 60!! Also one being for a β€œback up sensor issue”. But yet they couldn’t find anything. When finally picking up my vehicle, the service manager walked right by me and didn’t even acknowledge me. I am extremely upset with the lack of service, professionalism and care at the BMW dealership and with BMW. This 2017 7 series has been nothing but a problem! Which is very unfortunate!! And even more unfortunate that no one at the dealership seems to care.

Just had the 1200 mile service on the M2 competition through Dubuque BMW. They drove clear to Marion Iowa to pick up the vehicle. Very impressed by that alone. Also left me a loaner. New 3 series. Only complaint and reason for 4 stars was when I made the appointment I told the service adviser that the front brakes were starting to squeal. Nothing was done about it, or even mentioned. Very polite employees also.

The client advisor was Dave who was really great to work with throughout the experience. Outstanding customer service and not once was he ever pushy or β€œbeating a drum” to make a sale. I have used the BMW Service Department with Brad Deery several times in the year. I chose to use the BMW Service Department mainly since there really isn’t any certified BMW mechanics in the Dubuque area. The service department is really great to work with and they understand the BMW expense and detail required for the car. I will continue to use the service department because of their knowledge, expertise and skills. I live 1.5 hours away from the Dealership, having quite the drive back and forth in the morning and having to work in the afternoon was kind of a hassle already. With that being said, I was 1 hour late for my scheduled appointment, they still attended me, serviced my car. While I was there the gentlemen made sure I was comfortable. They gave me a ride to one of their recommended restaurants, picked me up, took me back to the dealership. They changed my car’s oil, and they also gave my car a complimentary wash, wax, and they even vacuumed the inside of it. They applied a discount I didn’t even know about. Great service! Awesome personnel. Definitely recommend you giving them a chance.

At first when I called I did not get a good first impression, however they went above and beyond to resolve and fix that The store manager called me directly and apologized, got my car in right away no questions asked. I have a VERY busy work life and was worried that I couldnt get my rotors and break pads replaced. They had someone come and get my car when I live 2.5 hours away and left me with a beautiful loaner car to drive while they were fixing mine. They kept me in the loop about my car getting fixed the entire time. The staff from the call director, to the man who came to get my car. all had amazing customer service. I am really glad I had my car go through them to get fixed! I highly recommend this dealership!

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned BMW from Deery Brothers BMW in Dubuque. I live approximately 200miles away, out of state and conducted all of my business via email and phone call prior to going to pick the car up by myself.Car: The car was in fantastic shape. Not misrepresented in any material way. Dealer did not disclose some very small curb rash on 3 of the 4 wheels but was VERY thorough in documenting everything else with the car (including thorough videos emailed to me cataloging any scuffs, stone chips, etc.).Deal: Car was priced very competitively when compared to very similar CPO comps across the entire country. I was only able to get ~1% off their asking price but I still feel good about the overall value of the vehicle.Service: As eluded to above, my BMW Client Advisor Dave P. was very thorough in his responses to all of my requests and questions and was very prompt in all of his communications. Day of sale I thought the process was a little disjointed and would have preferred visual inspection, test drive and service record review to occur before meeting with the finance manager. I was also at the dealership for ~4 hours which was longer than I would have liked. Regardless, I thought Dave was very transparent in all of our discussions and negotiations and I would definitely call him again the next time I am in the market for another BMW.
