Coach Ben, JL and the entire Spot team are wonderful. They treat my 11 year old son like family. The atmosphere is incredibly positive and encouraging. My son enjoys every session he attends, seeks feedback and has grown so much as a well rounded athlete in just a few short months. His running form and overall strength are just a few of the improvements that his coaches have noticed.
Matt Gilbert is the best strength and speed coach in Ohio. I have drastically improved my speed and overall football skills thanks to Coach Gilbert. I highly recommend him as a coach for any high school or college athletes looking to get better.

She has gone above and beyond to help my daughter with providing individual plans and support. My experience with The Spot has been awesome. As a high school athlete, theres not many opportunities available through my school to help enhance my athletic abilities. I am a swimmer for USA and I work with Ben Mccausland. I have come very far in weights, speed, and a little bit in balance. He and any other coach that has helped our group works every day to get us to our best. Ben H is great. This was my first visit to the SPT training. I am very out of shape after being lazy the past 2 years. The group welcomed me. They didnt make me feel bad for being way behind them. Ben gave me sets that matched where I am today within the group. He gave good guidance and adjusted to make it worth being here. I cant say enough about the entire group. They made me feel like I was one of them even though I am just getting started. Great leadership from Ben and a really nice atmosphere. Cant wait to go back for my next session!

This is the best investment I’ve ever made for my 14 year old. All the coaches are knowledgeable and will help your child reach their full potential. My daughter has been going to Coach Maeve’s session for a few months now. She is so grateful for Coach Maeve being there and having a female Coach to look up to and giving her the support and knowledge that she needs to be a better athlete. All of my trainers have been excellent! Very smart training, but also fun at the same time. There’s a reason for everything they do! It’s not just a random workout, thrown together at the last minute....they build from week-to-week & there is a purpose. Also, there’s so much variety. It’s not the same workout again & again.....which leads to boredom, which leads to people dropping out. I searched for a long time after leaving my old gym & I have found my new home. Thank you to the entire staff, especially Kyle, who seems to be my man every training session. I have found my fitness again!
Fantastic program to help young athletes or non athletes for that matter, become more positive about their body images and become confident in training correctly to do their best in whatever sport they’re participating in. So happy to have enrolled our 12 yr old in this program. His coaches have all been great and caring. Can’t go wrong with The Spot.
I have worked out at The Spot Dublin for several months now and I really enjoy the atmosphere. I have trained with Coach Adam and Coach Ben, both of whom have endless knowledge about the human body and how to make mine better. The coaches are highly motivated and easy to work with. Our family was introduced to The Spot as a part of my daughter’s dryland workouts for her swim team. After seeing the benefits and all that she was gaining, we inquired about other programs they had and signed up our son. He thoroughly enjoys the workouts and always leaves feeling positive about himself and his progress. My daughter even continued workouts there while her swim team was on break! The facility is amazing and the environment positive. We are happy to have found The Spot for our kids!

Braden is a great trainer! He can adjust his training sessions to any level. The movements are effective and interesting. My friends and I continue to come back to Braden because he’s personable and just an awesome human. The Spot provides top notch equipment and facilities.
My son has only been training here for about a month but has seen incredible results already! He is preparing for his Junior seasons in Football, basketball and baseball and hopefully college football in 2023
The Spot Athletics is the premiere place to workout in Columbus Ohio area. I have been there for one month now. I have been training under the guidance of Adam Zevchik. Adam is a legitimate world class power lifter. Adam is able to effectively rely upon his many years of weight lifting and fitness training to translate that knowledge to his clients allowing for some very productive workouts and gains for those he trains. I have felt that Adam pushes me to the maximum every session, but does not compromise safety or risk of injury for “faster” strength gains. I attribute this skill to his many years of study and practical experience with fitness and lifting weights. All of the staff at The Spot Athletics are super friendly and excellent at what they do. At my age of 50, I can attest that they can accommodate training for any age range and it will be excellent. Thank You Adam and the rest of the staff for all you do to help improve people’s health and fitness!

The staff exemplify a positive environment and always have great energy.My daughter trains in the one hour, semi-private/group training program three times a week for a little over two months, and she’s already showing big results and feeling more confident. While I’ve not heard my daughter give any trainer less than a positive rating, her favorite has to be Ben.More than anyone, Ben’s energy, caring, and personal attention to her workout routine keeps her motivated to push harder, get stronger, and be faster. My daughter works out 4-5 times per week at The Spot for last 4 months. She absolutely loves training there. As a parent, I feel very comfortable with the coaching staff. Their approach to training teens is unmatched. I like that they track her training to show her growth and weaknesses. Ben Hollander has been amazing to work with. The care and attention he gives makes it easy for her to respect and trust him. The focus is always on how well are you doing the exercise, never how many or how much. I have been going to the Spot for about 6 months now and it has been a great experience. All of the coaches are great and have created a great environment where everyone feel comfortable and everyone is getting stronger. I have improved significantly across the board and can already see the differences it has made on my body. Most importantly the coaches do a great job of explaining WHY we are doing every exercise. I feel knowing the why behind each and every movement allows me to get the best out of every movement. This place is just great!I also want to give Braden Ripley a shout out here. I have worked primarily with Braden during my time here at the Spot. He is very friendly and most importantly knows how to make people strong/fit. He has the ability to push people hard and always finds a way to motivate you to give maximum effort. I feel his coaching style fits anyone and everyone. As a a working professional and single Mom I find that I have little time to invest in my own well being. About a year and a half ago I joined The Spot and have loved it every since. Not only have my physical strength and mobility improved but my mental health has also improved! I look forward to each session knowing how good I will feel at the end. The staff are fantastic and it is small enough to know most of the clients and build friendships. If you think you are too out of shape...think again! My teenage son also trains at The Spot and loves it just as much as I do.

I came in knowing absolutely nothing about training and what it would take to achieve my goals. I told my trainer, Coach Jeff, what I wanted and we have been working on achieving my goal since day one. I have a lot of work to do on the fundamentals and Jeff is always patient when there is something new I have to learn. Jeff is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable when I ask questions. The facility is spotless and everything always looks clean and sanitary. This facility and my trainer are THE BEST.
I’ve been training at The Spot in Dublin for over a year and am very pleased. The adult semi private and group sessions are challenging yet doable; I leave every session feeling energized. The trainers encourage us to push ourselves and provide alternative moves when needed. Jeff Oiler is my semi-private trainer and our group loves him. Coach Adam is the best trainer I have ever had. He understands everyone and where they are at skill-wise, as to not over do anything. He has whipped me into some of my best shape ever, and take that out into my golf game. Everything that I needed in my swing has improved, speed, hinging, etc. Best workout place (and instructor) ever.
I have lived in US for almost 10 years and i can say this is the best GYM i have been in these years. This facility has top class equipment and very well organized. I have had opportunity to work with at least 5 coaches here and all are very knowledgeable and help you improve your form or technique every day. Their work out programs keep changing and they are spot on. I wish i had this kind of GYM access earlier. I strongly suggest this GYM if any body is looking to improve themselves in any certain areas or have some specific goals.!!

Our family was referred to the Spot for athletic training by one of our kids swim coaches. Ben was one of the first Spot coaches we encountered for both the youth and junior classes and we all liked him immediately. His classes are a combination of strength and agility training, which is exactly what we were looking for. While all of the Spot coaches have been great, Ben stands out in that his energy level always motivates the kids and his workouts are always challenging. This is your place to gain explosive power, strength, and sport-specific flexibility.My experience here (of almost two years!) has been wonderful; I have never had a bad experience with any staff member. Leanna, Ben, Braden, Rachel, i could go on… everyone has been awesome. The trainers are rigorously coached and reviewed; they are attracted from all over the country to this facility. The workouts/training plans are always changing to keep you changing and improving. I receive a friendly text if I have missed a couple of days. These coaches don’t need to do that, but it is their attention to detail and personal investment in your goals that make the difference in the Spot family.

A fantastic training facility for athletes and non-athletes. The staff is well educated with sports specific focus. Braden has been working with my daughter for 6 months. She has dramatically increased her speed and strength and it is very evident on the soccer field.The staff is friendly, encouraging kids regardless of their fitness level or experience in the gym. I love this place! The coaches are very attentive and make the workouts fun even when it’s something terrible like sled pushes. All of the coaches are amazing but Ben’s positive attitude and encouragement make me want to work out.

Absolutely love Spot Athletics. I started training with Jeff a month ago and Ive never been more motivated to get to the gym. The group fitness classes are also great because you get the knowledge of one on one training but also a sense of community, encouragement, and support from people of all fitness levels. Clean facility, nice equipment, great variety and challenging work outs - but the people are what really make it great!
We have been going to The Spot for a few years now and highly recommend it. Both of our kids continue to see growth in their movement and strength and therefore performance in sports. Our children work with Ben a lot and he is an amazing coach. It is clear he enjoys what he is doing by his enthusiasm in class and his organization with classes. Each class is different which keeps the kids interested. Ben is able to push the kids in age appropriate ways. The kids clearly enjoy the workouts bc they actually run into the building excited for class!

My 13yo daughter who is a champion competitive Irish dancer has been training at The Spot in Dublin with Coach Ben in small group personal training and we couldn’t be happier. She is challenged and works towards attainable goals but it is always in a safe, positive and fun setting with attention to what each individual athlete needs. The Spot is a great choice if you a looking for a gym near Dublin. It is a great facility with even better trainers! I’ve never been part of a gym that focused primarily on strength training - but The Spot makes everything easy and enjoyable. I’ve been going here for over 2 yrs and continue to get more out of every session.At The Spot, the mix of small group and large group classes are all lead by incredible trainers who focus on form and safety above all else. But they push you in every class beyond what I would have pushed myself.Every class is well planned out and the trainers are focused on each person’s form and abilities. Even the “large” group classes are typically only 5-7 people, so the trainer can always spend one on one time with you to work on certain things each class. They even follow up by text to make sure you are doing ok the day after a tough workout.I highly recommend giving this place a try is you are looking to get back in shape, challenge yourself in a different way, or just want to workout with awesome people and knowledgeable trainers who like to make working out fun! The Spot is NOT your typical gym. I’d say it’s not even a gym. It’s a training facility meant to foster and facilitate physical improvement and performance. For novices such as myself it’s addictive. I love the personal attention and most definitely enjoy the environment that is created by the trainers. Accountability is key, and they are serious about helping and training.My trainer, Leanna, is tops. Educated and experienced in her field and serious about what she does. Not to mention they practice what they preach. Leanna is a coach and an athlete. That’s the way it should be. Cant wait to see what more I can do in pushing myself.Thank you!

I joined this training facility in February after breaking my wrist. I needed an outlet while working around my injury. Braden has been fantastic the entire way-modifying movements and offering suggestions to meet my needs. I’ve been able to get workouts in while being safe and increasing both my strength and mobility. I need the early morning class with my crazy schedule and it’s been a great group of people to start the day with! Braden keeps us moving with a different workout every day!

I have been a member of the Spot for 6 months, and I have seen the results on the volleyball court. It is a fantastic place to train. If you are planning on improving your strength for a specific sport, it is the best option because you are training for a purpose always guided by the trainers, and trainers are always paying attention. My trainer is Ben Hollander, he is a great trainer and a better person. Whenever Im traveling or I cant make it to the training he makes sure I am working out. The coaches are always accessible.

I have been part of The Spot Athletics for over a year now and there is no other place that I want to work out. The coaches and other group members are so encouraging. After playing semi-professional football for 16 seasons, the team environment is what works best for me. I feel the strongest I have ever been. I would totally recommend training here.
Ive never been to a gym quite like this before. The approach from all the trainers is exceptionally different than what is typically seen. They pay attention to your goals and ensure your health and safety are a top priority. RPR techniques truly changed my life, and the exercises work muscles i did not even know i had. Braden is so personable and approaches everything in such a positive manner. I could not recommend him or this gym any more.
Attended a day long workshop at Spot. The facility is fantastic. They appear to have any and every training modality (OK, except maybe a pool) available in a Spot-less well-maintained building. Plenty of space. Staff seems highly motivated and well-trained.
My daughter has been visiting the Spot for over a year now. We have had several great coaches, but she has settled it with Ben Hollander and couldn’t have asked for a better coach for her. Ben pushes her to be a better athlete and person. Ben keeps it fun for the kids and she has a lot of teammates that have joined her there because of the experiences we have had there. The owner JL and all the coaches make it a point to come and speak to you, they learn your name and get to know you and your family. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else.

Being a former college athlete, I wanted to find a place that would challenge me but would provide a team environment. The Spot has been incredible in helping all three of our kids with strengthening their core, increasing their speed and flexibility while giving them greater confidence. Each of our children have different challenges such as problems with knees, ankles and scoliosis. The greatest benefit for all of them is the amount of attention the trainers do with injury prevention and givings then confidence again instead of fearing getting hurt more. This has been priceless! When he told me he was closing his gym and joining the team at The Spot Athletics I was a little nervous and apprehensive, but having settled in to the routine and seeing how everyone is friendly and helpful, and the gym is energetic and positive, I feel absolutely at home and look forward to many more years training at The Spot and with Nate!
Been going to golf specific performance training for about a year now with Adam Zevchik. Results are great, Ive never had a bigger gain in power in my life.
I have been working with Adam since the spring and I highly recommend him and the Spot Athletics. I have come off of a shoulder replacement as well as upper and lower back problems due to an auto accident. Adam has been fantastic in working around my physical limitations as well as making everything more stable and stronger. My golf handicap has dropped 5 strokes since starting my training. and a lot of it has to do with my physical improvements. If you want to improve your golf game by being more flexible and increasing your strength and general well being then Adam is your man. Everyone at the Spot is very friendly and encouraging.
The Spot has been an incredible experience for my entire family. We highly enjoy the trainers, the routines that never get boring, and the awesome facility. We plan on this gym being part of our lives for many years to come. 5 stars are not enough.

JL, Leanna and the rest of the staff at The Spot have been fantastic every step of the way. I wasnt sure what to expect when I first visited The Spot Athletics, but seven months later Im so happy I made the decision to check it out. I had worked out routinely for years at various gyms, even tried out personal training and although I always stuck to it I never really pushed past any goals or felt a major sense of accomplishment.The first day I walked into the Spot I was welcomed by the training staff and other clients as if I had been there for years. The facility is amazing and has everything you could imagine and then some. Whether you are new to training, a student athlete, a professional athlete, or someone like me who just wants to get healthier and stronger The Spot has what you need AND the best people around to help you hit your goals.I train with Braden. He not only shows me different excercises and moves to improve strength, flexibility and mobility but he also educates me on the why. He makes our sessions fun, informative and challenging.I have participated in group classes as well and trained with other staff all who genuinely care about the people they are working with.In just over six months, I have hit goals I didnt think I was capable of, Ive tried excercises I didnt think I would be able to try and Ive met some truly amazing people. Im excited to see how much further I can push myself and Ive set new goals to achieve.The Spot has classes for younger kids too and Ive even brought my 6 and 9 year old boys up there. The staff are great with my kids and they love going every chance they get!I highly recommend The Spot Athletics!
Started working out at The Spot after I committed to play football at Duke University. I knew from the beginning that this was the place to train if you had big goals to achieve. I was a state championship wrestler from Dublin Coffman high school and had been training multiple sports my entire life. My goal was to be the most prepared and in shape freshman coming into summer camp at the end of my senior year to make a great first impression on my new coaches at Duke. I worked with several amazing trainers including JL and from the first session I knew I was in special environment. I was challenged every session and was able to workout and compete with other great college athletes around me training at The Spot. Every trainer at the spot is unique and very experienced. It is a great learning environment because of this. I was more than prepared for my freshman year at Duke and was in the best shape of my life. I consider the amazing people I worked with family now and still come back to train on my breaks back home.
The Spot Athletics in Dublin is a brand new, top notch facility and performance center. The culture that JL and his staff have built makes this gym a great place for athletes and others to train. As soon as I walked into the gym, I realized it was a place for anyone to train, from beginners all the way to professionals. Definitely excited to come back.
The spot is super amazing! I coach girls high school lacrosse and their facilities and trainers have helped immensley with our athletic ability, stength and conditioning and overall morale of our program.On a personal level, I have never felt so satisfied and motivated with working out than i have now. I feel strong and consistently see improvements.Leanna is our teams trainer and my own trainer and i cannot speak more highly of her ability as a strength and conditioning coach. She has helped me and our team improve and continues to do so. Our girls absolutely love her (and so do I)!I highly highly highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve either their own fitness and wellness or the athletic ability of a child to go to The Spot. Hands down best facility and trainers Ive worked with.
The Spot is awesome. Great, professional instructors that push you but that aren’t mean. Really pleased with my results so far!
My son has been training at The Spot for over a year. Ben was key in helping him improve his strength and agility which is essential for wrestling. Without Ben’s help, Bryc would not have qualified for OHSAA State wrestling finals as a freshman. Thanks Ben!

My son Connor Morgan has been going to the Spot for over a year now. Ben Hollander is his trainer and we cant be more pleased with Ben and the staff. Ben is the type of trainer that takes a real interest in his clients. I have ran into Ben at at least 4 or 5 of my sons football games and he was checking up on Connor and wanted to watch him. Thats a trainer that cares.

The Spot Athletics is the perfect fit. The knowledgeable trainers develop small group classes with heavy weights, HIIT variations, and mobility techniques, all focusing on functional movements and “training for life!” Couldn’t ask for more!
