Great folks who still answer the phone. They travel to every destination under the sun plus places you never thought of. Friendly, knowledgeable, easy to understand and willing to answer every question. Thwy stay with you for the entire trip, and know how to have fun! They made every thing look effortless, probably because they have allies in every part of the world. They treated all the workers we interacted with like gold, and reminded us when to tip. Old, spry, disabled, and young were well taken care of. These guys have truly figured out this industry
Interesting tours. Seemed hi priced.
We went on their holy land Egypt tour everything was 5 Star top notch. The best thing about the whole trip was their guest speaker Michael Wilcox
Love touring witbFun for Less. Very organized and they work hard to add value to the extras
We were booked for Danube River tour in 2020. Due to Covid the tour was cancelled. Even though it was rebooked for summer of 2021 we have had almost NO COMMUNICATION from Fun For Less about the itinerary, Covid status, and issues. We invested about 15K into the tour since 2019 and feel we have been ignored.
I loved Glenn and Debbie Rawson as the educators. They wete extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited. The buses were comfortable, the price was great. I was a single traveler and everyone was very friendly and always made sure I was included. Will definitely travel with them again.
Ordering online was misleading. Turns out the normal pepperoni pizza 8bwanted was about 20 pizza option down the list..although others looked like they were the right oneFrustrating.
Took car to dealship and they didnt fox problem. Hauns fixed it with no problems and they did it faster than the dealership can change my oil.
There trips are well planned and busy. Lots of fun.
The European Romance trip with Jack Marshal and his wife Liz, Ari, and Frankie was remarkable and truly amazing, They were all so skilled and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable. The places we went were breath taking. I have always wanted to go to Switzerland and Im so grateful for the wonderful experience. I could not be more pleased and grateful. it is a trip to be taken by all. We were also with a most pleasant and fun group.
We just finished a 17-day tour of Jordan, Israel, and Egypt with Fun For Less. What a fantastic experience! Michael Wilcox did an amazing job teaching our group in Israel. The complicated logistics of the trip were handled flawlessly. The river cruise was a fantastic way to see and travel Egypt. Thanks again for an excellent tour and we look forward to the next one!
I just love Dan dolfos sandwiches. I always get a Dagwood and my husband always orders in NYPD Blue.
Love to travel with Fun For Less.
The steaks were very good and the view was fantastic. As most steak places in Hong Kong, it was pretty expensive, but it was a great evening. I also had the creamy corn and it was delicious.
Travel with Fun For Less is unmatched! We have traveled with Fun For Less for about 15 years and we never cease to be amazed. The preparation and forthought is obvious yet feels so natural. Every transfer and side-trip happens so smoothly and calmly that what we end up remembering is the trip and not the mishaps.Fun For Less has taken us to the most beautiful places on earth and we plan on going there again with them as long as we can. Thanks for giving me and my family these awesome and enriching experiences!
Great service, great food, really good prices!!!
Just got home from the most amazing most unforgettable trip in my life. Everyday was the best! Thank you, fun for less.
My husband and I just got home yesterday (Aug 5, 2016) from a British Isles land tour with Jack Marshall and Kent Flack. It was the best trip weve ever taken. We couldnt believe how much we saw in the 12 days we were gone. We crammed so much into those days and it was all worth it. We loved the people on our buses and became friends with them. We will definitely take another trip with FFL, its the best way to go. It was also great to be with like minded people so that made the trip even that much better. Great job Fun For Less, you have another 2 admirers of your company.Calvin and Claire BakerPhiladelphia
We experienced the tour of a life time touring the Near East and the Middle East. Guides, educator, hotels, food, and experiences were first class, 5 star plus. Fun For Less takes you to places not visited by other tours. No disappointment...wed do it again in a heart beat!
Great service....reasonably priced with excellent location....no hassle travel
The opportunity to visit Egypt, Jordan and Israel for two weeks was one of the highlights of our lives.Although the views and venues were spectacular and riding a camel and visiting the Pyramids, sailing the Nile, and Petra were memorable, nothing compares to the teachings provided by Glen Rawson and the way we felt as we learned about the special and sacred places we visited. We couldn’t get enough of his teachings and were sad when it was time to return home.We would also like to thank Sandy and Steve for all their coordination efforts and ongoing support, kindness and love. “But of course,” thank you to Brother Joseph as well, our guide in Israel who reminded us so much of Tevye in the movie Fiddler on the Roof. It was a treasured time with old and new friends, and we look forward to joining Fun For Less again for another tour with Glen Rawson as the educator.“Shake a Leg!”Diane & Richard Casebolt
Wonderful. All we had hoped and more. No worry travel. Very informative and educational. Tour leaders, guides, etc., efficient, dependable, friendly, patient, and personable. Bro. Wilcox was amazing.
I think more parking would help alot.
Ive been with this group twice... and I normally avoid group tours like the plague. Fun for Less delivers everything they promise. Their accomodations are top notch, you literally see EVERYTHING, and the only danger you run is weight gain (excellent buffet meals at clean restaurants) and exhaustion from 5am bags out calls. These tours are perfect for third world and foreign travel where it can be tough to arrange transportation and move from city to city. When you cant speak the language, Im happy to let someone else be in charge.Highly, highly recommend the Egypt/Israel tour as one of the most amazing things Ive done. Fun for less has some connections that enable their groups to do and see more than anyone else.Did I mention that it costs less than most tours by far? Seriously, I cant say enough about this company.
They keep you busy. The itinerary was great.
We discovered Fun for Less in 2016 and scheduled our first trip for Machu Picchu in June of 2017. We were so impressed with the over all organization of the trip and we enjoyed everything about it, the places we toured, the amount of time spent at each place, and our fellow tour mates. From Machu Picchu to now January 3 2018 we have been on 3 more trips. European Romance, Cuba, and Branson (Cuba and Branson the owners Jim and Carol traveled with us. They are absolutely the most delightful people to be around). We enjoyed each one of those trips so much that we have signed up for 4 more. I cant say enough good about the Fun for Less company. The other day my husband asked me what I would do with the money if I won the lottery. I thought about it and said I would go on every tour Fun for Less has to offer!!!
Toured Israel, Egypt and Jordan in March 2017 with S. Michael Wilcox. We recommend this tour without reservation, and advise EVERYONE to go, especially if you want to understand the Bible better. We were never concerned about safety- we are accompanied everywhere by a guide or a guard. And you MUST go to Egypt in order to understand the Jews- what Joseph of Egypt and Moses experienced shaped the children of Israel. Michael Wilcoxs vignettes were so insightful, he was great! Our kids asked us to stop gushing about him, we were so enthusiastic. The historical guide, Joseph, was a veteran of the 6 day war- he had a very objective view of Israel- some guides are very disparaging of the Palestinians, and he wasnt. All the local guides that are contracted were also exceptional. We savored all the sites listed in the guide, and more. We went nonstop from morning departure to dinner at night. The hotels and food were terrific- gained 5 lbs. Had sufficient shopping for those interested. I will never sing There is a Green Hill Far Away again without thinking of the view of Jerusalem through the panoramic windows of the BYU Center for Near Eastern Studies, and of Christ approaching the Mount of Olives and his death. We had great comraderie on the buses, and everyone was on time every morning for departure. Our bus guides, Julie and Steve, were upbeat and pleasant, and kept us moving with a smile. We truly had a five star trip. We thought it was pricey when we booked, but afterwards, we felt like we really got a bargain! If you are on the fence, GO! You wont regret it!
My wife and I just completed our fourth tour with Fun for Less, returning from the Machu Picchu last week. As usual, Fun for Less delivered a great itinerary of sightseeing combined with an educator, John Lund, who provided explanations of what we were seeing along with historical backgrounds for the sites. This was the sixteenth visit that John and his wife, Bonnie, have been to Machu Picchu and he showed us sites and explained them like no other tour group receives. While im at it, I would like to make a recommendation for a restaurant in Puno on Lake Titticaca. We went to the Plaza de Armas and went into a restaurant named Mojsa just across the square and facing the large cathedral. The establishment is owned by a Peruvian woman and her son and daughter in law run it. The son is the chef and the daughter in law is an American woman from the mid-west. The food was excellent. When you enter and go up the stairs, you dont realize that there is a bar downstairs in the back, and another floor for dining above. Thanks again, Fun for Less, for delivering a five star experience in the highlands area and on the Peruvian Amazon. Im looking forward to traveling again with you.
Always the best of everything I
A combination of wonderful experience with Michael WIlcox as a spiritual resource and a many logistics issues. We toured the middle east and Michael made the bible stories come alive. The buses were miserable, the food was generally terrible, the local guides were semi informed and manipulative (not the American fun for less employees who were wonderful.)One example: after traveling all day we got to the 5 star boat on the nile. We went to dinner and it was italian night. There was a salad bar which we dared not eat in Egypt or Jordan. But we were expecting that. But the food.... rice, potatoes, lasagna noodles with bits of beef and red streaks, spaghetti with tasteless sauce and bread. That was the entire menu... Oh they had desserts. I dont eat them but was told they looked good and tasted not so good. I suspect it is because tourism is so bad they were trying to feed us as cheaply as possible. THe room was fine for a river cruise but certainly not 5 stars by US standards. CLeanliness was lacking. We were given a heads up that we would not get lunch most days. We brought protein bars. I looked recently and one of the competitors highlights that they get great lunches each day. It may be a tradeoff of time but I suspect it is how they keep costs down.THe guides in Egypt and Jordan also claimed to know the honest, safe people and places to buy things. One item, the guides said was available for $20US was available for $8 from street vendors. Another example.. camel rides.. At The safe rides one of the vendors told us they were required to pay the guides half of what we spent.I could go on and on about the guides but suffice it to say they are out for themselves... And their tone / mannerisms are not always respectful. Also this is probably not the right venue for type A personalities.I will say it was convenient that hotel keys were waiting for us, etc.Bottom line. I am glad we went but would have prefered for a lot to have changed. Perhaps that is the best that can be done with a large group.PS: we didnt choose them for their low price claims. Perhaps had we gone on a more upscale tour we would have been happier.
10/10 would go again
