I literally never leave reviews, but these people are the definition of incompetent. How hard is it to deliver a parcel/parcel key to the correct mailbox? I do not have the time to go around knocking on my neighbors doors to see if they got the parcel key in their mailbox. I tried calling multiple times but it was only ever an automated voice that I got a hold of.

Ongoing theft from a postal carrier has gone ignored for months. I worked with federal investigator who said it was a machine opening envelopes and removing cash and gift cards, but the envelopes were opened and then sealed with Scotch tape. Now packages are being opened. No recourse...I just have to put up with it. This never happens with UPS or FedEx.

I would leave negative 5 stars if i could. I had my son dropping off 4 bags of ebay orders today that were extremely important to get out on time. He got there to the bell area at 455 and asked for a bin. They told him they didnt give out bins that late and that he needed to carry the bags in. So he went outside and got 1 bag in and hustled back out to get the other 3 and they locked up for the night. If they just would have given him a bin in the first place all 4 bags would have made it on time. Now i have roughly 300 late shipments. I will probably over 200k with USPS every year. And this isnt the first time this is happened to me. 1.8 on the google review Draper USPS. Get your act together and treat your customers with more respect.

The worst service ever. Ryan denied that he did not want to give me the information on paying more to get a tracking number for my USCIS documents. The day I went, April 28th I asked him how to get a tracking number because we were sending confidential and important documents to the USCIS, he said with a bad attitude that I did not need it. Latin matters? Who knows. Today, after a month and a week,, we received the envelope back with a stamp saying that they could not deliver it. Absolute worst post office i have ever had to deal with. Our mail carrier has to be one of the laziest ones working in the country. We have had them say a package was undeliverable because they didnt feel like walking 100 feet into the apartment office to drop it off, forcing us to go pick it up at the post office. We have also had multiple occasions of them straight up lying about doing their job so they could justify taking the mail back to the office so they didnt have to deliver it. This has resulted in us losing packages because rather than communicate with people, the office chose to just send it back. The lines are always insane and unnecessary because they think that one person working the counter is enough no matter how many customers they have and heaven forbid you ask them to go look for something in the back because that can be an extra ten minute wait. But the last experience has to take the cake. My boyfriend ordered me a present that arrived when i was out of town. No big deal, they left the slip on the door and i scheduled a re-delivery attempt, for which i received a confirmation email. Only i waited for HOURS on the appointed day and they never showed up. I finally accepted that they werent coming and went to run some errands. I checked the mail on the way out and found a slip in my box claiming they had made another delivery attempt while i was out of town (which they absolutely did not do and did not add to the status history on the tracking website) and telling me that my package would be sent back to the sender the day after i retrieved the slip from the box, which was a Sunday. I of course went to the website and used the info to schedule a pickup at the office on Monday morning. I went in Monday morning before work, and there were obviously people there working. I rang the bell and knocked and called out, and every single person in the office ignored me and pretended i was not there. Eventually i had to leave because i have a job, but the ordeal led to me being late to work and the loss of my package because i was unable to get back to the office in time to pick it up after work.Call me crazy, but if a postal customer is there asking for help getting their mail, that is literally what you were hired to do. To sit and ignore them when you can clearly hear them is unprofessional and unacceptable. If you are going to hold packages hostage and threaten to send them back on a Sunday, you should be willing to open the office on Sunday to allow a person to come get their property. If the postal system schedules a re-delivery date for something, you need to pay attention and honor that confirmed appointment. And plain and simple, if you do not want to do the work, dont take the job. Mail delivery is sort of important and the rest of us have to work too so we cant upend our lives for your convenience. It is the job of the post office to provide a service to postal customers and frankly this office needs to be completely restaffed with people who understand that.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. This is beyond the most difficult post office I have ever dealt with. The Draper location is very busy, however no matter how busy their location is or how long the line is they only have 1 or 2 people working at the counter at all times. I manage a local apartment community and am constantly getting mail returned to my office that was delivered to the wrong apartment even though the correct apartment number was written on the letter or package. Packages are being delivered to the wrong homes constantly....or what is worse the residents are expecting packages that were suppose to be delivered that didnt get delivered and they are forced to come to the leasing office or drive to the post office in search of their package. The most frustrating part of the whole process is that our apartment community is bringing in HUNDREDS of new people to the Draper community and it is infuriating that they treat them horribly. Our new residents are forced to drive to the post office to pick up the mail key instead of letting our office hand them out which would save the new residents of our community time and effort. In addition, when someone moves out and a new person moves in they are going to charge either the new resident or our business $15 for a new lock and keys set - they are charging this fee regardless if the original mail keys were turned back into to their location. They never answer the phone I literally had to call them over 10 times this morning before anyone answered. The people that work there have no consideration, dont see the bigger picture and have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We have another community that opened a few years ago that did not have the same experience as what we are being challenged with, which leads me to believe that this has something to do with how the current staff is being trained and managed. In my line of work, which I would consider to be, serving the residents of Draper city and newcomers to the city I always think of how we can be welcoming and provide these new residents with great customer service and making their transition to Draper as easy as possible. THIS IS NOT THEIR MINDSET. VERY SAD!

I ordered about eight packages recently and had them all marked undeliverable. Come to find out I had forgotten a suite number on the shipping label. An honest mistake because its necessity is a recent development for the address in question. The post office did not try to contact me. They marked it online as delivered, and then in small print put undeliverable. And because I was away, I didnt know there was a problem until the next morning. At which point they had, with extreme efficiency, sent all eight packages into the wind. It has been almost two weeks and two of the packages are still unaccounted for, and untrackable, which they seem to have no intention of being responsible for. They have fought me every step of the way, and seem to withhold information until it is too late to use it. I get the original mistake was mine, but these people have been incredibly unhelpful and unsympathetic. Overall, a nightmare of an experience interacting with them.

If youre new to the area, I recommend planning ahead, and using FedEx. If you live here, then you already know the incompetence, and dishonesty that is the Draper Postal Service. Where to start... Their hours - 8:30AM - 5:30PM. Since thats exactly when I work, I will never be able to pick up any packages that they fail to deliver. Which is ALL packages that require a signature. It doesnt matter how many times a re-delivery is scheduled for a Saturday, nobody every shows. Nor does it matter how many signed pink slips are left in the mailbox. They just give you the finger. This is the absolute worst post office on the face of the planet. I actually feel sorry for them because I, myself, would absolutely hate to have to work somewhere on a team full of COMPLETE IDIOTS. They are absolutely unhelpful regardless of what you are needing help with and as far as delivering mail goes, dont cross your fingers too hard - you wont ever receive the correct mail!! They mis-deliver mail CONSTANTLY to the wrong apartments and will send notifications out that they have delivered your package when they, in fact, still have it at the post office. I recently experienced an issue where they did not deliver a package to my office because they said that the address was incorrect. My manager went to the post office to address the situation and after waiting in the worlds longest line, the clerk was absolutely terrible. Not only was she awfully condescending, but she was claiming that the address was wrong even though it CLEARLY matched the billing address for our credit card. It is a real address, OKAY??! Maybe, just maybe, they need to offer reading classes to their clerks. FedEx, UPS, and OnTrac all deliver things to my office without a problem, so Im not sure why it is SO complicated for these people. Also, dont ever count on calling them and actually reaching someone on the other side. That phone will ring and ring and ring and you are totally out of luck. Hopefully, they have plans to make changes at this location because at this point, theres no way they can get any worse!

I have used this post office branch many times and there is always a huge line with a very slow distracted agent running things. Items I have shipped from here have always made it to their destination undamaged.
