Corner Canyon Counseling is such a wonderful place. It’s very clean, very neat, and the providers and patient care administrators are all so nice and so helpful. When you walk in, there’s a small waiting room (with plenty of seats to social distance if you need to). Walk through another door and you come to therapist offices and the check-in desk. Kristal, one of their patient care administrators, is always so sweet and caring when you’re checking in- if you’re emotional during check in, you just feel supported, it’s not uncomfortable or awkward (I mean, I’m sure they see it all haha). My individual therapist, Hilary, is a treasure. She is absolutely wonderful- I’ve seen other therapists over the years for various mental health and wellness needs, but she goes above and beyond. When I was working through some really intense emotions after a particularly tough session (we started to dive deep into a very traumatic situation I used to be in and it caused some turmoil haha), she stayed late with me to make sure I was doing okay and that we could gain some closure, perspective, etc. before leaving. She is also AMAZING at contacting me if there’s a cancellation, and she gives me little “homework assignments” to work on so the therapeutic value continues well beyond when I walk out of CCC’s front door.Corner Canyon Counseling is a wonderful established practice that really supports and cares for its clients! 5/5 highly recommend!!

My therapist, Hilary Jensen, has been the only therapists I’ve ever had to make any significant breakthroughs in my mental health. I’ve become far more stable and happy in my day to day life and I genuinely cannot appreciate that help enough

Don’t go here, We had a bad bad experience w LORI!! Don’t go to her ! Run away! this place has not sense of empathy or compassion . We only met w the “therapist “ 2 times and we realized her poor bed side manners! She is horrible ! Years of experience havent teach her any common sense. Instead of my son getting the help he needed now we have to deal w my little boy Being scare of this whole situation. Shame on this people

The counselors are wonderful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. When my kids counselor moved recently and the replacement didnt end up being a good fit for us, the staff were completely sympathetic and helped us find someone new and get rescheduled as quickly as possible.I love my counselor here, as well. She has been a great help in navigating difficult life events.

We brought our teenage daughter her to see Samantha Gibb to get counseling. This turned out to be one of the worst thing we could have done for her. Our daughter was in a stable place, on track, and doing well but could have used ongoing counseling to help. After seeing Samantha for a couple of months everything went downhill and she regressed quickly. She became rebellious, depressed and was headed back down a bad path. From their conversations, our daughter got the impression it was okay to smoke pot with her friends as long it was just on the weekends at parties. Not a good green-light to give to a teenager and/or someone recovering from serious mental health issues. She told our daughter to quit taking her medication because it would make her manic because Sam (wrongly) diagnosed her with bi-polar disorder. She also told her things such as her parents have done her a disservice her entire life because they havent ever understand her like Sam does or her bi-polar condition and needs, which didnt help the parenting situation at all. There was zero communication between Sam and us as her parents about her, either prior to, during or after weeks of counseling. There were other serious issues that could have been prevented or worked through if there was any communication.I dont know everything that was discussed but I do know what the effects were and from what I heard from my daughter and what I heard from Sam after we decided to end this situation, it lined up and confirmed these things for us. It seemed to me that Sam probably took the easy approach of trying to be a cool counselor to my daughter and said thoughtless things which enabled her and sent off on the wrong paths and we way beyond her clinical scope as a counselor undermining previous Psychiatrist recommendations.A couple of weeks after we quit going to Sam we took our daughter to see a different Psychiatrist who disagreed completely with Sams wrongful diagnosis and agreed with the prior physicians recommendations. He thought she should have never quit taking her medication as Sam advised and definitely was not bi-polar. On a side note, Sam also wrongly diagnosed our other daughter her went to see her with bi-polar too. Seriously, stop with the bi-polar thing already. Now that its been a couple of months since she quit going to see Sam and got back on her original medication again, things are getting better, she seems more and things are getting back on track.

Unprofessional office staff, cancelled our appointment when someone else called in to cancel. Got us in the same day, but it was like pulling teeth. The counselor was the opposite of helpful, really made me feel like she was just stringing us along so she could book that next appointment for more revenue. When we asked for a letter of some kind that we could provide our employers, the counselor and office staff bickered about whose job it was to provide it. Do not recommend this place at all.

I can honestly say that my experience there was life changing. The staff is always friendly, and I have seen a couple of the therapists there for my personal life situation... I still utilize the tools that I learned during my experiences there. I would and also have recommended friends and family there... and I will continue to do so. THE BEST therapists and professionals out there, hands down!

This is a terrible place to go. My counselor said he would have to contact me to book in the future (totally different than before) and he never reached out to me. I called the office, sent an email to the owner and no one there responded back. That is unethical and unprofessional behavior. I am grieving the loss of my husband and deserved something better than what this company gave me.Update: I spoke with the owner of the company. She immediately replied to my review and I spoke with her shortly afterwards. She spent a great deal of time on the phone with me. I appreciate the time she took to ensure that the issue is resolved. She was very caring and kind to me. Thank you for the time you spent chatting with me today.

This is my third therapist. I have found Laney to be encouraging, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I have made my progress with her than anyone else. I would expect the same from any therapist there.

I love the receptionist and staff at Corner Canyon Counseling in Draper. Crystal is wonderful and so friendly every time I come in. I feel known and accepted the minute I walk in there. My fiancé and I both see different therapists here and they have gone above and beyond. Seriously, above and beyond. They have changed our lives in the best way. My fiancé sees Hilary and loves her. Before that she saw another therapist, who is no longer at this location, for 2 years that we also loved. They were so great in the transition of therapists and went out of their way to make it as painless as possible. I have been seeing Samantha Gibb for about a year now. I have tried therapy in the past, several times, and never got far. I decided to try again when I experienced a tragedy in my life and I’m SO GLAD I did. Samantha is the best therapist I’ve worked with. I feel like I won the lottery with her. I am more emotionally healthy than I’ve ever been and look forward to continuing to work with her and make more progress. She made me feel comfortable from the start and I feel I can be completely honest with her. Therapy is a vulnerable thing to do but Samantha makes it easier by her honesty and compassion. I think one thing she does especially well is listening without judgement or shame, helping me understand emotions, and in so doing empowering ME to make positive changes in my life. I can’t thank her enough. She’s truly changed my life and I’ll be forever grateful to her!

I would not recommend seeing any of the therapists here. Me and a few of my friends each saw different therapists here and we went through two or three therapists because ours were always quitting. Then I was told by the owner Deb that I needed to take my needs elsewhere and was left abandoned by my this company and my therapist. The owner of this place has no warmth towards others whatsoever. So I say go somewhere else where therapists will stay and care.

When calling to get information about your company, the person I spoke with on the phone said they werent even working in the building and didnt even know if your office was an outpatient clinic and said they would have someone call me. I was in too big of a rush to make an appointment so I went else where!
