I dont need to embellish how hard it was to work at KNS.- Unable to provide adequate equipment for the role, expects you to provide your own. On day one, I was told by my lead that whatever equipment I needed to write, down. Do find a good price for it, and let them know. As a video editor you need a good pc or mac to work on, and in this case to get the work started I work on macs. After pricing out equipment, no progress for one-two-three weeks, until told directly that they do not want to purchase the equipment and arent ready for it.- 0 Training or proper explanations of your role. Blame is put on you when you arent meeting expectations that were never properly set, and for the most part, because of the break-in communication, you are just treading water to know exactly what to do. It has nothing to do with your ability to do the job, but the lack of getting a proper understanding of what the job is and how to execute it properly.- Toxic work culture that gossips, judges, and has a High School mentality about people in their workplace. For the first two weeks, all my co-workers did was talk poorly about the last employee with my title. This employee only lasted 3 weeks and now having lasted 3 and some change, I am sure they are doing the same to me. Its an ugly culture that I have never seen like this only in extremely toxic work environments of a middle or high school. Incredibly unprofessional, and cruel.- Management and HR could not give onboarding until a week in, and consistently gave inaccurate information on how to set up benefits, even as far as to not know if I was a full-time or temporary employee. When questioned as to why there was such a lapse in communication, I was brought in personally for coaching, as well as personally criticized my appearance and personality after only working 3 full days in the office. Keep in mind, one of those days I was told not to come in and then told last minute I needed to, and for the remainder of my weeks was done with work from home. Ive never in my professional career been talked to about my appearance or personality as if there is something wrong with me like the way KNS talked to me.Overall, this position should not be offered by KNS until they are able to understand the role they are offering and be willing to provide the appropriate equipment to do the job.Personally, Ive never worked for a company that I had severed ties with because of how fundamentally flawed their team was, but I dont see any person coming into this role with a fair chance with the way it is currently. If you are looking at my fellow negative reviews, please take them seriously, and consider who the positive reviews are coming from.
Working here as a seasonal is awesome! The managers are super cool, the people are super cool. For being my first warehouse job it’s been an absolutely amazing experience for me!
If you are looking to enhance your skills with is Windows Excel, this is the pace for you, other than that, I would avoid this place like the plague. The management in every single department is absolutely terrible and they have quite a bit of nepotism and favoritism here. During the first 9 months of the year you work 8 hour shifts, but as soon as October hits, they expect you to work at least 3 to 4 hours of overtime each day and it’s frowned upon if you don’t. They pull the office staff down to the warehouse to help package shipments and I ended up getting injured while working in the warehouse. It was so swollen by the end of the first week, they couldn’t deny it, and finally let me go to the doctor for it. They hire pretty much anyone during October, November and December to work in the warehouse. Since it was mandatory for me to work down there during those months, I had an old android phone, because I had just switched to an I phone. I used the old android phone to store music on so we could listen to it over the warehouse intercom/radio. I had cleared the phone of everything but music and I guess text messages. I left it down there so the warehouse employees could keep using it to play music, well one of the temp employees Took my phone with him to the restroom and searched back through almost a year and a half worth of texts between my significant other and myself. He found a very personal photo that I had sent to my significant other and decided to pass it around to everyone in the warehouse to see. I wasn’t made aware of this situation until about 4 or 5 days after it had happened And was informed by another employee. By then, our HR manager, Mike knew about it and was not going to come forward and tell me what had happened. I had to approach him about it and I find out that all they did was put the two main employees on unpaid leave for a couple weeks. I at this point, I had told Mike that I would be filing a case against the warehouse employees and the company for this sexual harassment that he was just going to brush under the rug and hope I wouldn’t find out about it. The minute I mentioned filing a case they were pretty quick to offer me a raise and fire the two employees involved. At the time I thought this was a good compromise, but now I know I should have never taken the raise and that I should have reported it to the authorities. Needless to say, the management can’t be trusted, it’s a good old boys club with the management and there is absolutely no room for advancement.
