My advice is to steer well clear of Servpro of Downey and Thomas Hoge.They may quote you a competitive price but deny you any breakdown of the costs. Then once work has begun claim the job is much bigger than they expected but never supply an update to your contract. Then when the job is done stick you with a final bill multiple times the original estimate. When confronted about their unprofessional and predatory approach, dont be surprised if they talk in circles, pretending to work with you, manipulating your cost higher and higher while avoiding logic and the law. Some jobs are tricky, the unexpected can happen and expectations need to be reevaluated. But dont expect a reasonable, good-faith approach from Servpro of Downey. Expect them to intentionally keep the cost opaque, dramatically underestimate the resources required to get the job done so they can take advantage of customers who are probably already dealing with an emergency situation. Dont be surprised if you require legal resources to clean up the financial mess Servpro of Downey leaves behind.Thomas Hoge may threaten legal action if you post negative reviews. Imagine how many more people would post their bad experiences if they werent intimidated. Check out their reviews on other platforms.

Hi Doug;Servpro of Downey was amazing to work with.We have a machine shop in Gardena and had a Covid-19 contamination in our shop, so we needed a disinfection of the shop.Your two technicians did a fantastic job at our company.They arrived right on time as scheduled.We did a walk through and I showed them what we needed done and they took pictures of everything for their reference and for our documentation.They pointed out a few things I did not realize that may need to be done if I wanted. No pressure, so I agreed to some, but not all.They had no problem with that. They did not try to pressure me into doing it, what ever I wanted to do, it was alright with them. They were there to help us not make sales.I’m very impressed with that.They went right to work and did not waste any time. No stopping to talk, or rest. They came to work.They did a great job in our machine shop.I highly recommend Servpro to everyone and to other machine shops.Thank you for a great job done.Al C.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It really eased the stress of having to deal with the water damage. I appreciated how well and quickly everything was taken care of. Carl n Diego are awesome. They know their stuff. My wife and I were happy n reduced a lot of the anxiety we had for several months. We appreciate and are glad we found competent people. Prior to meeting Diego and talking to Carl, many people and so call experts said we had mold. Well, Diego declared and stated we didnt. We had discoloration. Plus our water leak was not from our unit. It was our neighbors wall who has washer and dryer connected and water backed up n ended spilling onto our storage room. I would highly recommend Servpro in Downey as Diego and Carl are very professional and explain thoroughly the inspection. My wife and I are glad we met them. Thank you Diego and Carl.

My home was recently affected by water damage caused by my water heater cracking and than pouring out in my living room. Servpro was to come down a fix it within a reasonable amount of time and done with great service. While I do hope i dont have water damage again, the professional services given to me by this company will definalty have my patronage again!

I dont usually write reviews but I just wanted to say how much I appreciated SERVPRO Of Downey when I needed them. They helped me out a while back and while the situation was stressful, SERVPRO Of Downey took away much of my anxiety. It was nice knowing that I could trust them to complete everything quickly. Im really glad that I went with this company!

We recently had water damage in our wall bordering our two bathrooms as well as the hard wood floor in the hallway. Although a very stressful situation the accountability, quality, and timelines of the company was extremely helpful and eased the stress of the situation. I really needed to write this review. i had water damage and my home insurance agent said to call them since the first phone call they took care of EVERYTHING Tom came over to the house that very first night looked at what had to be done he said dont worry and the next day they were there working on my house the girls in the office and this soothing voice that just made me feel confident that my house would be just fine in their hands. i would so strongly recommend them to anyone. they know what theyre doing and when they say dont worry they mean it. i hope i never have to go through this again but if i had to they will be the first people i call. Thank you to Carl, Ruby & most of all Mira & Tom they kept me from flying off the handle. GREAT JOB
