I switched from dip to liquid gel after Cathy recommended it to help harden my nails and I love it! There is no soaking off needed with liquid gel and it lasts just as long as dip. My nails always look great after leaving Serenity Nail Spa. Thank you!

This was my first visit here, however, I am in this area all the time for not only work, but shopping and dining. I have never even noticed the salon was there. It is located in a mini shopping mall with plenty of parking!I have not had the chance to get pampered in a while and like others, I have had anxiety with trying new nail salons during the pandemic. I was finally getting off work early on a Thursday and work in the area, so I searched up multiple nail shops near by and I am so happy that I went to Serenity Nail Spa! I was very impressed before I even arrived. I specifically choose to go here because I appreciate the fact they have a website that lists all of their services with prices! I liked that they had the option of sending e-gift cards and a way to see their promotions. You can even sign up on their website to receive future promotions, even for your birthday!I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure and regular manicure. When I arrived, I was greeted right away. Everyone was very professional and friendly throughout my whole time there. My nail tech was Kim and she did an outstanding job on my pedicure. She let me know what options they have besides classic. I have dry heels and so much dead skin so I tried their Lavender Indulge Pedicure. This pedicure was AMAZING and so cool to watch, also an affordable price! It is a treatment that comes with a Paraffin Wax to nourish and soften dry, cracked feet. I recommend this especially if you work on your feet a lot! The pedicure chair was comfortable and has a mini side table. This is the first nail salon I have been to that has this which is a great size for your pours or drink, etc. After my pedicure, Kim had me wash my hands and she washed hers as well, before we did the manicure which I appreciate during the pandemic. During my visit, Kim asked me if I wanted to do no-chip instead of the classic manicure, but she never once tried to force me or up-sell me which I appreciate.I felt safe with all of their safety precautions . All of the staff had on masks. I did see hand sanitizer and disinfectant supplies. They had techs and customers apart to promote social distancing and they have station guards. At their hand washing station, they have touch-less paper towels and you step onto this little lever to open the garbage can. Due to the pandemic, they do have a sign that states, there is an additional charge of ether $1, 3, $5 depending on service. I appreciate and think this is kind of them to share this.I will definitely be back and I recommend for you to pamper yourself here too!** TIPS ARE IN CASH OR YOU CAN QUICK-PAY

I always come to see Cathy and she is the best! She’s a perfectionist like myself and I really appreciate her attention to detail. I used to always get dip manicures and then she suggested doing liquid gel and I’m obsessed! It never chips or lifts (and I’m a hairstylist so that’s saying a lot). Highly recommend this place!

Very nice place. They removed the old gel set I had on, did my cuticles, and shaped and applied new gel polish for $40. Very nice people, good prices, and they shaped my nails very well. Highly recommend getting your nails done!

They sounded cheery on the phone and had same attitude when I arrived. Great calm vibe and reasonable prices didn’t try and up sell me which is what I first noticed and primarily care about. Foot massage was A1 and the pedicure was good. Recommend

I went here once before for a simple set before my vacation and the quality was poor .... I let it slide because this was pre covid they were very nice people and served light refreshments . I started a new job this week and wanted a simple white set .The set was horrible . And they’re prices are too high for this quality . The white polish is not even white anymore . The polish is uneven .. and just very unsightly . The male manager did my nails both times and I was not happy either times . I get simpleShort nails acrylic and one color . I only get my nails done maybe once a year . This should be simple and easy to do . But they missed both times . Will never be coming here again . It’s sad too because they have great customer service and are great people

The Nail Technician did a wonderful job on my pedicure and made my feet feel relaxed, soft, and beautiful. She was very professional, friendly and handled my feet with care.

Ive gone in twice for dip manicures and have loved both of my experiences! Cathy did my nails both times. She is a perfectionist who went out of her way to make sure my nails looked perfect both times! Sonny and the rest of the staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming. This place is super clean. I will definitely be going back!

My nail tech was clearly rushing or just didn’t care. There are holes where acrylic is missing! They are shaped so unevenly to the point where I went home and reshaped then my self!!! Most of them were very crooked when I left!! He rushed threw painting my nails (no chip) that on every nail there are spots missed. The top coat was applied uneven so there were holes in it. ( I went to another shop and paid to have another top coat)! Went in for a fill and my last no chip was barely takes off when he filled it and he just painted over it!! The full it self is terrible. Barely used any acrylic so you can clearly tell where my last full ends and this one starts!! I will never be going back

I drive all the way from River North in Chicago to come here. I have been to so many different salons, and no one does a better job than this one. VERY CLEAN. Not to mention the quality you get, without paying outrageous prices like other upscale salons. I am very particular about my nails and they go above and beyond to make me happy every single time. I usually see Sunny or Cathy. Family owned and operated. Relaxing atmosphere. Very professional. They always make me feel welcome and comfortable. I absolutely love this place, its a gem!

I saw this place had good reviews and decided to give it a try. Cindy took care of me, she was very friendly. But the manicure she did was horrible. Not only did she rush my manicure she demanded a tip after. I asked her very polite if she could go over some nails i still had dead cutlicle and she said it was good and she just added more oil and said it was good like that. Never ever going back here again.

Today I went in as a walk in to get what I have gotten in the past dip powder on my natural nails however it was my first time in the shop. I was greeted and assisted by sonny. I Selected the color and he started to put the initial coats on my nails. The way in which they did their process was not what I was used to, when I asked “why does it look like this” sonny had an attitude while attempting to cut me off from speaking stating that it wouldn’t look like this at the end. Further more the color was looking lighter than I expected and wanted reassurance that it was the same color. He proceeded with my other hand and continued saying “oh I thought you had this before” I informed him that I had however it never looked like this he stated “ you’ve been doing it wrong then”. As this was my first time his customer service was extremely poor nor did he reassure me as the customer he was qualified to do what I requested. The manager Cathy came over to help explain backing him also ignoring my concerns. I acknowledge her and stated this is not what I’m used to getting and she made another excuse. They exchanged words and sonny then proceeded to get up and grab a bowl saying “since I can’t do what you want we will take it off” with his continued attitude. The lack of respect for the customer service was shocking and distasteful I will never return to this location and advise other to think twice.

I went to get my nails done and a pedicure. The pedicure was such a rush job Sonny was moving way to fast to do a good job..the towels were dripping wet it was not worth the price at all.Cindy was trying to change $33.00 just to paint my nails using gel polish have no nails at all. My nails look so bad I told her just forget it.They are under staff and over priced. Skip this nail shop dont waste your money.

The experience was wonderful. The staff were professional and friendly. Bebe did a great job on my nails!!! Plus it was super clean and all the equipment was sterilized!!! Very impressive. I would recommend this nail spa to my friends. Great job.!!

This is our go-to place for nails. The staff is so accommodating, professional, and just great at what they do! They take their time and you can actually relax and unwind. I would highly suggest making an appt -- as it gets busy and like I said dont rush anyone. :)

This is the place to go! Everytime I come here I always have a great experience. Everyone is very nice and they all do a fantastic job. There are several nail salons closer to me but I drive the extra distance to come here.

Went in for a dip manicure. Beautiful place, clean and well run. My manicure looks great. Staff was very friendly and did great work.

They have a nice wide array of nail colors to select from. However, I will not come back because the day after getting my nails done one nail come off. So they fixed it for free and the nail tech mentioned that my nailbits are small. But, I never had the experience where a nail came off the day after getting s fresh set so that was an invalid excise. So the day after getting my nail fixed another one came off. And within less than a week a total of 5 nails came off and the acrylic is already fading. I feel like they used old products because the quality of nails I got done is unacceptable.

I liked this place better before. When it first opened, there was this wonderful waterfall in the back where the pedicures are done. Now its just two boring, blank stone walls. They really push the no-chip manicure, which destroyed my nails for months afterwards (never getting THAT again). If you go that route, and they dont mention this, but you have to *keep* doing that. But what really turned me off are the new signs that let you know cash tips are appreciated. Tips are not required, and the polite response is thank you, not Id rather have it in cash if youve got it. Rude. Probably going to start looking elsewhere.

I went yesterday to get a full set, i walked in with no appt so of course i had to wait a little which was of course fine with me! It was my turn to get my nails and the guy who did them kind of rushed and they just were not executed as well as they could have been, he left polish all over my skin and some sort of powder all over my skin as well. The acrylics dont even reach the back of my actual nails and the paint job just isnt the best. I have to get these taken off and get a new set, they just arent good they look like i did them myself.
