As a landscape contractor I have been going to these guys for nearly 10 years and Downers Grove Rental Max is the only rental company I use even if we have work 50 miles away. Staff is fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly from management to yard workers. They always have the equipment or get the equipment I need the same day I show up even with out having a reservation. They really take care of you. Thanks for your great service guys year after year!

The guy was rude, did over charge us, refused to accommodate. I had to make special trip to avoid the overcharge and he did not budge. I would neither do business with this place again or recommend to any one. The staff does a great job. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, and their hours are reasonable. Rates are very fair. The tow-behind air compressors they rent are very solid, and as quiet as Ive heard for use in residential areas. Nice people to work with!

Drove 4 hrs from michigan for a carpet installation only to find out wed need more than manpower to remove the old carpet. Rental Max was the only place that had what we needed and more and Will was more than helpful makimg sure we had everything we needed before we walked out the door. Thanks guys. Lifesavers.

I rented an ozone generator from Will at the Downers Grove Rental Max. Not only did the unit not work, but Will lied to my face about it not working. I found out from another employee that there was somebody that rented the unit after me that had the same issue.When I didnt get good customer service from Will, I went over his head to the manager named Glen. Glen completely took care of the situation. He allowed me to use an ozone generator that worked and it completely got the odor out of my house. Since Glen did such a fantastic job I will be going back to rental max. He did a wonderful job of turning a very upset and dissatisfied customer into a happy customer. Thank you, Glen!I originally rated this location 1 star. I am rating this location 4 stars because I had a negative experience initially with Will.
