Everyone is very responsive and respectful. Plus I have never had any troubles with my garments; they have always come back clean and well done.

My wife dropped off 6 shirts of mine and received back 5 shirts that were mine and 1 shirt thats not mine. I understand mistakes happen, but the employee tried to tell my wife that the shirt they gave her back was the shirt she brought in. Its similar but its definitely not mine. Mine was a white linen shirt with the label removed, they gave her back a white linen shirt with an Old Navy label. The employee didnt seem to have any interest in making an effort to find my shirt. She acted like we were lying and trying to scam her. It appears they have no policy when they make a mistake like this, my wife had to tell them heres my number call if you find the shirt. Have no confidence that Ill ever get my shirt back.

I dropped off at 2pm the previous day and inquired if the dresses could be dry-cleaned by 2pm the next day. I stated they were for a funeral. I was assured they would be ready. On the morning of the pickup day, I called again just to confirm that they would be ready; I was assured they would be completed by 12n. When I arrived @ 2:30pm to pickup the dresses, they were not ready. The manager claimed they were just put in the machine. When I asked how long before they would be ready, she told me 5pm. I stressed again that it was for a funeral!!!! She said I understand but still didn’t care. Once I yelled about needing them ASAP, she told me to come back @ 3pm. I was late for the funeral & still not sure if the dresses were really cleaned or if they just put tags on them like they were!

This CD price cleaners in Downers Grove is unbelievably amazing- I’m a clean freak and super organized and they exceed all my expectations. Not only is the staff so kind, but they take such care with your clothes for the wash and fold service- they literally lint roll items after drying them to ensure that they look immaculate when you receive them. They fold with such accuracy every time I get my clothes - they stay in place and all I have to do is put them away when I get home bc none of them need to be refolded - not EVER! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with clothing items! They’ve never lost an item, they are timely, and all around provide a wonderful and positive experience/service. I wish I could tip each and every one of them bc that’s how much I truly appreciate their hard work and the load it takes off me when it comes to laundry ... no pun intended. I seriously love them so much and will ever do my own laundry again all thanks to them. 💛

We LOVE CD One Price Cleaners ... we’re particularly fond of this location in Downers Grove . Very professional, honest and hard working.We have a lot of clothes. We also travel a lot: going through multiple outfits from golfing to dinner. My husband goes through a lot of shirts some days due to being in the manufacturing business. He’ll get oil from brushing against a machine or just salad dressing from that Corporate lunch. They always find that stain - even if I don’t mark. He’s also notorious for leaving golf tees, cards, change and cash in his pockets! And they always come back to us. We enjoy their smiling face even though we walk in with multiple, tangled bags of clothes.

I picked up a comforter that I had dropped off a week prior for routine dry cleaning. While examining the comforter (still in its clear packaging) upon arriving at my home, I noticed there were dead flies on it...?!?! How poorly sanitized and unhygienic must the internal workings of this location be that they would return a comforter infested with flies?!DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. They return your property in worse condition than it was in the first place.

Attempted to charge me for alteration which was canceled and was never done. Dry cleaning is ok not as clean as one would expect.UPDATE: I understand your seamstress decided to charge more money than estimated. But once we decided not to get the alteration done why were we being charged?

I have used several CD cleaners, and they are not all alike. This one stands head and shoulders above all the rest that I have ever tried. I drive out of my way to use this particular location. They go out of their way to make sure every job is done perfectly. I love the staff and the manager Elizabeth is just the sweetest gal!

As I suspected my credit card was charged twice by the Downers Grove location. I argued with the girl when picking up my comforter that I had paid for it when dropping it off and had a receipt. She said the computer showed no payment. This place is ridiculous!! Cant get a hold of a manger either to get a refund. They will not pick up the phone at this location. I wish I had the names of both of the girls working the day I dropped off and picked up. Crooks!

Never again! This is the second time Ive got screwed by them. First was a dry clean only sweater that they washed and shrunk instead and then tried to stretch it out. This time was a sweater with big burnt holes in it.Not only did they ruin two favorite sweaters but then lied to cover themselves.All of the locations are franchise and each one runs independently. This is the worst one!Never again!

Our washing machine broke 3 days before we were set to leave for vacation and I had a huge pile of laundry to get done before leaving - so I noticed the Downers Grove CD cleaners had decent reviews, same day service and great pricing so I dropped my clothes off for wash and fold service and I could not be more satisfied with their service - my clothes were clean and nicely folded when I returned at 5 to pick everything up. The pricing was so reasonable I am actually considering doing this on a regular basis.

It is reasonably priced and the clothes and shirts are clean and neat.

When picking up my item the young lady yelled at me and told me I needed to follow the directions on the receipt and that my blanket was supposed to be ready after 5 I stated I called and asked was it ready and could I come now and the young man that picked up the phone stated yes I could so she went and got my blanket but i don’t appreciate her yelling at me and telling me I couldn’t pick up my items when it was clear that it was ready and I called beforehand

Poor service and undocumented workers working in the Downers Grove location right now. We contacted the CD one price franchise owners and no comment. LIz is undocumented and so is Louis.
