This karate academy has been fanatic for my son and our whole family-- especially in 2020. Not only do they provide an excellent environment for kids to learn martial arts, but they go above and beyond to take of the needs of the kids and their families. I HIGHLY recommend this institution.

Loved this facility! Super clean and super accommodating to my family and our needs. They are responsive to any questions and willing to help in anyway they can. My son learned a lot while attending karate classes here and the instructor s are all great!

The instructors are top notch. Our son started at Kaizen in 2016 and continues to study Tang Soo Do. Even through the pandemic, they have never lost touch with their students and families. Through technology, they are able to offer classes online and on-demand support with feedback of student videos. We highly recommend joining the Kaizen family.

Kazien has been life changing for my son, he is only a few months into it, but so very excited about the next stripe, next belt, and what comes next. He loves the staff and always talks about them. I just joined their program the beginning of this month. I have known 2 of the instructors, Chris and Mike, from time well before they came here to teach. Both are excellent and extremely knowledgeable people both on and off the mats. I would highly recommend giving them a shot for all of your mixed martial arts needs.

Kaizen Karate was such a great experience! My son loved the class and cant wait to go back. They had great customer service. They were quick to respond to my messages and follow up with me to make sure my son had a great time. We will definitely be back!

This school is amazing, The instructors are amazing & the forms they teach are amazing. Truly a world class school with an awesome leader in Master Preece. My son loves this place and from what I have seen, so do all the other children and adults.

Zero complaints here about Kaizen. We have enjoyed having our son in the tigers program here and love the flexibility of it. My son has learned SO much, and the instructors do so well keeping the kids focused, but at the same time having a blast!

Excellent facility with excellent instructors. They take the time (if needed) to individually instruct your child if they seem to have difficulty understanding certain concepts. I highly recommend bringing your child here. Very family friendly and positive atmosphere for everyone.

My family has been a part of this school for 7 years. It started with our children (now 11 and 9), but then my wife and I saw how much fun they were having and began taking lessons as well. It’s a fun family activity that definitely teaches some life lessons along the way. To anyone out there looking for activities to get their children involved in, I’d definitely recommend giving Kaizen a try.

As a beginner with kickboxing, Steph and Ms. Dayna; have both took the time to make sure I’m doing things the right way, but in my own timing. UPDATE - Hands down the best karate academy in Dover! My kids never stopped training during Covid restrictions. Kaizen made sure they could train via Zoom and even offered private lessons. As a mom of two kids with underlying health issues, keeping them safe and active is a high priority and Kaizen has definitely helped with that!Awesome family atmosphere with amazing instructors! Karate classes, summer camps and parents night out events will keep your kids active and help them form life long friendships.

Kaizen is one of the best choices we made after moving to Delaware. We thought karate would keep our son active and teach him self defense, but it ended up being much more- classes, summer camp, day camp on some holidays, parent’s night out, halloween and Christmas events- he became part of a community and I fully trust the staff to leave him in their care. It’s amazing how much respect the kids show the staff, they’re so kind yet the kids know what behavior is expected when they walk through the doors. The bully seminars and women’s self defense class are great as well!

My child and I both feel very comfortable here, the owner Master Preece and his fine instructors here have made us feel as though we are not just at a school but part of a big family where everyone joins in to help this Dojo grow in a very positive way. My child is not just learning the arts but also life lessons along the way. The owner has kids of his own that we the parents can actually see a large part of their journey through life.
