You can fine some hidden gems at this auction. Nice furniture that goes for cheap prices. Good food and friendly staff. Auctioneers are funny and you tell they take pride in their job and love to see people leave happy.

💓Love this Auction house!💓This is my home Auction. Being the first of many over the years, I find myself missing the scent of home cooked food when you first enter the building . Reminds me of when I was young attending auctions with my family. I totally adore the owners, staff, and regular customers Ive had the pleasure of getting to know and learn from. In addition to new faces and characters met while attending, I simply enjoy the easy flow from one auction space to the next. As a customer/consigner, I trust the business ethics Mt. Auction house is selling items on Facebook (rather than auctioning them) during the COVID pandemic. They tell potential facebook buyers they can pick up an item at a specified time but then sell it out from under them if someone else wants to pay by paypal. Shady and bad business.

Great auction house. We had a really awesome time attending our first one here. It was a lot more fun than expected, and tasty food and pastries.

Good people, friendly, decent selection

My father passed away and I had a lot of items to sell, so I sold many items through Mt Royal Auction that I inherited. The last car load of items I brought there, I never received payment and called to enquire about it. The lady I spoke with couldnt even find in the system that I brought anything in recently and could not find the pictures in their system of my items. They called me back and claimed the items didnt sell and they were thrown away. I never received a call to pick up the items either. I believe there was a mix-up. It was a car full of speakers, amps, subwoofers, etc. Not just some yard sale leftover junk that wouldnt sell. Some were even K&M brand and other top brands. I think they mistakenly used my buyer number instead of my seller number and paid the wrong person for my items. I will never use this auction house again. Very unprofessional to make a mistake like this and not own up to it and try to sweep under the rug. If this was not a mistake in payment, then they still threw away items without informing the seller to pick-up items not sold. Either way, it was unprofessional and upsetting. Plus the whole set-up to drop off items is not very organized and I can see how mistakes are made as to who they pay for items. They just slap a piece of paper on the table with your seller number in a room full of other peoples items. It would be very easy to lose that little piece of paper and not know who to pay. Also, I requested a receipt each time I dropped off and the owner reassured me that is not their process and denied my request with this last load of items. He stated you only get receipt the first time you set up account, which is not very good business either.

I love going to auctions and this one is my favorite. Ive known some of these people for years. The owners and staff are beyond friendly and helpful. Want to have an evening of food, fun and great bargains come to Mt. Royal.

Very clean and organized. In the main Hall items are set perfectly set to view. Any and all questions that I had were answered by the staff. In the main Hall, Ron Snell, the Auctioneer Is the best I ever met. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a hello and smile. Get there early for the good home cooking that they have in the kitchen. Turkey, mash potatoes, gravy. Dinner is always exalent.Ladies night is February 16th 2019 at 4:00 p.m. I cant wait to see what theyre going to have to auction off for all of us. You never know what theyre going to have for the ladies, You just never know its always good.

Would not recommend House of auction at Dover you hardly get anything for your items and they take forever to pay its been almost a month since my auction and I still havent been paid for my items do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
