I’ve lived here since April 2021 and it’s been quite the experience. First off, I had to wait two months to get an actual mailbox key. It took two months of calls and emails to finally make this happen.Secondly, do not let the landscaping in the front office fool you. The entire property is in need of some serious landscaping. Lots of bald dirt patches that flood when it rains. Causing huge mud flows outside of my apartment. People refuse to clean up after their pets, you can tell by the random mushrooms growing in the middle of what seems to be grass. You can also smell it when you walk by.People have overly aggressive dogs on the property. The trash on my block is always overflowing and smells terrible. There is litter throughout the property.On any given Friday, you can barely pass by in a car in Willis RD from Division Street from all the random teenagers in the middle of the street carrying in.Dover Police spend quite a bit of time on my block with the apartment in the end. They are always asking questions about if I saw anything.For what I pay in rent for a one bedroom apartment with no real amenities, there are far better places on the other side of RT 13.

Rent shoots up, quality stays the same. Leasing office is unhelpful, closes shop whenever they want, rarely can answer questions. Maintenance doesn’t respond to requests, and if they do it’s a month later.

Bugs galore. creepy british maintenance guy with very little knowledge of anything and breaks far more than he fixes. dont expect to get your deposit back theyll charge you for things they didnt even fix before you moved in like disgusting carpets with stains on them theyll charge $160 to clean when you leave. the water turns brown once a week so dont drink it, they blame it on the fire department but its just old rotting pipes they refuse to replace. the leasing office staff is very condescending and borderline useless with no covid-19 protocols in the office and these are the same people entering your home when youre away so you can only imagine how they treat your home. Rent was a decent price for the size of the unit.

This is my 1st time living in Dover Delaware, I came from Maryland. I absolutely love it here, my apartment is no ordinary apartment it look so luxury! It has a lot of open space for my little 2yr old to run around and have fun! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks for giving me this wonderful opportunity!

Its a good place to live. Staff is very helpful and the property grounds are kept clean. I love my little washer and dryer in my unit and the fact that there is a laundry room at the end of building i live in just in case something goes wrong with it. A clean and safe playground is available which is a bonus.

I have called Mapleton Square my home since moving to Dover DE in 2014. Five years is a long time to stay in one apartment community, and I have no intentions of leaving anytime soon! The staff is always friendly and doesnt treat you like a resident or just another lease, you are part of their family and they really take time to get to know you. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to emergency calls as well as routine requests. This a wonderful community with great amenities including two dog parks, a playground, access to washers/dryers in apartments and on site and, my personal favorite, a grilling area! The location is great as well as we are very close to major restaurants, shopping centers, the Air Base and Dover Downs Casino. If you are looking for housing in Dover, I highly recommend making Mapleton Square your home!

Lived here for almost a year and I am very pleased. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance will come within a day or two after you put in a work order. Quiet place, definitely would recommend this apartment complex.

Moving into Mapleton Square Apartment Homes has been one of the best decisions I could have made personally. Meeting with the management, the office staff, and maintenance they treated me with great care and professionalism. The neighborhood and setting is great and good for families trying to setup for the future.

The staff is very helpful, and hands on. I am a first time renter and really appreciate the time spent helping me with this new step. The staff really made me feel comfortable with the process.

Staff here is great and helpful . I have been living about 3 years and I do not have any complaints. Property is well maintained and quiet. no issues with the apartment. maintenance orders filled quickly.

All the staff are always pleasant, Maintenance and office. Always help whenever there are any problems. Grounds are well taken care of. Pleasant place to live.

Ive been leasing from Mapleton Square for a year now and they have been great. Any & every repair has been made without me asking twice. and the leasing office staff is great and very helpful ! My apartment is very cozy and spacious, glad to call it home!

I really like #morganproperties. Been here for almost 2 years now, great people great staff, and perfect amenities. The best thing is the in unit washer and dryer! The views are great too, even the dog loves them. Dont think Im going any where any time soon.

The staff are very rude and they have so many unnecessary damn rules that makes no sense only because they want to find a way to make money off you. One example being I cant have chairs on my patio that I use in the summer to sit on. Why am i paying a huge rent that increases every year but i cant use my amenities? This apartment and it staff sucks. That is why residents keep moving out fast. And I will be moving out soon!!!

Omg I just love love LOVE June and Donte! I came in and filled out the application, I was immediately shown an apartment similar to the one in which I was applying for, and a week later I was moved in! Theyve answered every question Ive ever asked, emergency maintenance shows up within minutes. I recommend Mapleton square to anyone who appreciates quality living!

I love it here cause its quiet and nobody bothers you and the bus stop is right here for you to catch it.

Have been here just about a year and have never had any issues. They know who we are when we need anything, they are always quick on coming to fix anything we need. Very friendly, very clean, very nice area to live in.

It really depends on which apartment you live in...I stayed in 2 apartments over the span of living here...the first one, no problems really; was fairly peaceful & didnt have many reasons to call maintenance..However, the second one I lived in was a completely different story..had to call maintenance for many things that broke...maintenance would take days, sometimes over a week, to show up. And if you dont keep contacting them, they wont come fix the issue...our a/c was not working in 80 degree weather..took them a week to come look at it, then they finally fixed it..then weeks later, it broke again, then eventually they fixed it again after calling them several times, but this time the a/c would not shut off!!! It was freezing. And the temperature wouldnt go up when we tried to change it. So we used the emergency off switch..& of course called maintenance, but they never showed up so we gave up..Also, immediately after we moved in, the bar in our closet broke. Contacted maintenance; said they had to order the part. We didnt keep pestering them, so it was never fixed. Our front door stopped shutting right..The downstairs neighbor played loud music whenever he wanted; contacted the leasing office numerous times; nothing was done. Spoke to the tenant ourselves; said hed turn it down but never did. Wrote a letter to the property manager but she never responded. Called the cops but it didnt resolve anything. Also, he smoked marijuana & the smell would get into our apartment, which I didnt appreciate..Very disappointed in my overall experience..glad I no longer live there. If youre looking for an apartment, I suggest looking elsewhere. Theres nothing special about this complex; you deserve better.

Ill say this theyre not honest. They rent old apartments with a fresh coat of paint and thats considered a renovated apartment. Theyre so attentive when youre a prospect. A month later you go to the office or any issues before you even open your mouth there already telling you Ill be with you in a minute and no eye contact. But cater to the people theyre trying to reel in as opposed to the people that are actually current tenants that pay rent every month ON TIME. Anything you ask of them that you need done to your apartment its like pulling teeth. But when they reach out to you they will nonstop seven days a week until you respond. And if it still doesnt work and you get threats. Not to mention their clerical skills are horrible. Theyre completely un organized. On every annoying occasion it was a clerical error on their end. Which happens quite often.And most importantly its overpriced. Ive stayed and better apartments and for less.

Beautiful Community, people are pleasant the staff is beautiful the door is always open for any concerns. Its great to come home to a quiet peaceful environment.

Looking for an honest review? I got you. I have read many a review prior to moving here (Mapleton Square Apartments) and boy, was it a mixed bag. Now that I have made the choice and have been settled here for a year, I can give other nomads the skinny. What I will not include are any issues, concerns or praise that are outside of the complexs control (like squirrels destroying my outdoor plants, the abundance of bugs or the friendly neighbors)What you see is what you get.PROS: Well landscaped and great accommodations. The apartment style that I have has an EIK, Central Air and Heating, Washer and Dryer in Unit. The maintenance gentleman, Micheal, is the best.(Edit: Michael has since left but the two new gentlemen are friendly and funny) I have also had a great experience with the leasing staff...but I am also respectful when providing praise and bringing attention to concerns so, there is that. You get what you give. Any issues I have had were addressed pretty quickly. There is plenty of available parking.CONS:There is no overhead lighting in the living room or bedroom. Dog owners DO NOT clean up after their puppers. Its no immediate fault of the apartment complex however, there is no way to really hold pet owners accountable. As I prefaced above, I probably shouldnt include this however, the poop isnt cleaned up so, there is poop on the sidewalk sometimes. The walls are thin and the buildings close together so I know when my neighbors are home, who broke up with who in the adjacent building and I am sure my neighbors know that I have an in-home karaoke machine.So, overall, I give 4 stars and a fair 4 stars. Pretty decent value and you can take away that you will have a pretty peaceful and accommodating livable space where you have what you need though you might step in dog poop if you arent careful.(Edit: I havent seen much dog poop in a while. Either folks are cleaning up after themselves or dogs are quarantined and using wee pads)

The management is absolutely horrible. They do not care about the tenants whatsoever and are not willing to work with you about anything. They are extremely money hungry and that’s all that matters to them. If I could do less than one star then I would. My name is not in your system because my girlfriend lived there and she was treated like dirt by your management.

They are very understanding and always work with me when I need help. You can count on them.

The one thing i hate about this complex is that the floors are horrible and not sound proof at all i can hear my neighbor having sex, snoring, her shower her slamming the damn door something needs to happen because this is ridiculous i reported my neighbor a few times i dont want to hear what goes on in her apartment the flooring here is cheap and poorly done

My father lived here. Place full of bedbugs and rude owners do not rent. They lie about rent prices and up ass about things they need. But care less about yours.
