I typically come here for my Brazilian was, and all but one time has been an amazing experience. The one time that wasn’t good was years ago and I won’t let one bad seed ruin the whole shop. Fabi is great, the short woman with white hair is great, the last woman I had I can’t remember the spelling of her name but it resembled Nanye, she was great. The process is quick here, receptionist is very organized and never forgets to ask how your service was and if you want to schedule your next one. Also great prices!! I would recommend to anyone.

First time trying Rio. I Found Rio on google. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. It was a good experience. I was able to get an appointment the next day for sugar waxing. Monica is the only employee who does sugar waxing and she did an AMAZING JOB. Monica was thorough, quick, professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend Monica.

I had a Brazilian wax and Luciana was so gentle but very fast. She also squeezed in a upper lip wax when I asked (I know they are busy so that’s why I asked). Such a sweet person.

I thought they were extremely nice but I dont like their process. They put the wax on you and pull it off. Im used to the strips. I like that process better. Im not going back. I did not consider their process a real Brazilian. If youve never had a traditional Brazilian then this place will suffice.

I LOVE Rio Body Wax! I received a full body wax and my service was completed by Tania. It was my first time getting something other then my eyebrows waxed and boy was I nervous! After going here, I can honestly say that all the anxiety I had beforehand was for NOTHING. Lol. I could not have gone to a better place. Tania was wonderful! She talked and laughed with me throughout the entire process which made it so comfortable. She also kept me well informed and educated me throughout the process. For it being my first time experiencing a Brazilian wax my esthetician Lily walked me through it step by step, she advised me that it would be painful but the more I do it the less it hurts due to the hair growing back slower and thinner. She even took the time to ask me if I was ok after every pull and went as far as to explain to me the hydro jelly. Lily deserves a 5 star for having such a pleasant vibe.

I have been to Rio several times throughout the years. I took the time to travel 50 minutes outside of my normal Rio location and was told the esthetician I booked took another client and someone else could assist. I definitely did not want to do that because my hairs were growing the next week and actually itchy as if I had shaved after the last Rio esthetician provided services at my normal location. I will go back to Sweet Samba!

It was my first time getting the hair removal service using the sugar wax. It was not that bad and I’m glade the young lady worked with me when I was a bit scared and In pain. I absolutely love the scrub cucumber and mint . It’s very hydrating, smells good and is the perfect texture for a scrub.

I got my eyebrows waxed at Rio. They were very nice, efficient in getting me seen, and clean. They were attentive to my needs and what I wanted. The only negative is that the wax took off some of my skin around my eyebrows also. My eyebrows look great except the scabs that are there now. Unfortunately, due to that, Im probably not going to go back. If you have sensitive skin, be cautious, otherwise, I highly suggest it.

This was my first time going to Rio Body Wax. The reviews were amazing so I gave it a shot. I needed my brows waxed and Monica was the technician that serviced me. I explained the shape I wanted but that wasn’t what I got. I wasn’t really happy with my brows...they were shaped completely different from the other brow and neither was what I asked for. While reading reviews, I didn’t remember seeing her name as one of the best but it was my first time so I didn’t ask for anyone specific. I’m trying to decide if I should try again with one of the young ladies from the great reviews or just cut my losses and find another salon.

I have been coming to Rio Box for well over a year. I have tried different ladies and have over all be happy with my wax. I had my monthly wax o. Thursday and I am very unhappy with my service. The lady was nice enough. Her technique not so much I can home with at least a weeks worth of stubby after a brand new wax. Over all I will steer clear of this particular one.
