Today my brakes started grinding really loud. I just moved here in January and hadnt a clue where to go. After pulling over and googling shops, I decided on D&S Car Services based on their 5-star reviews.They definitely earned and deserve their perfect rating. I walked in and Randy was welcoming, friendly, and really great in giving me a quote. It was extremely reasonable for all four brakes and an oil change. He even allowed me to look at the work that needed to be done before they started.The owner David was also there and kept me updated on the progress. He was incredibly nice and so kind to let me take my pet bird out of his carrier while I waited.If you need car service, do yourself a favor a visit D&S! BEST PLACE FOR CAR SERVICE IN DOUGLASVILLE!!!!!

I would give no stars if I could. My mother took her van here to get the steering pump replaced, that went OK but when she brought it back for them to check to see if anything else was wrong with the vehicle, they said it needed motor mounts. She gave them the OK to replace them and when she got the van back the power steering was leaking, when she took it back to them to fix it they charged her to fix the mistake THEY made. After they fixed that there was a burnt oil smell in the car while driving, the power windows wouldnt work and the light in the back interior wont come on. We took it back and told them about these issues and that they werent there until they worked on the vehicle and they wanted $90 an hour to diagnose the problems.In short, dont come here unless you want to leave with more issues than what you came in with

These people were so kind and amazing! They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and got me out in about 30 minutes! I could tell right away that they were honest and good people, they charged me a very fair price and being a new driver they took away all of the nervousness I had with their friendly ways and their kind smiles! 10/10 would go their again!

Awesome service!! My vehicle was running extremely loud was told I Had an exhaust leak & broken hanger dropped my Jeep off around 9 it was ready by 11. My vehicle is sounds so much better staff where very helpful & nice!!!

I went to this shop on a humbug. Oh....what I didnt know. Its a tucked away shop in Douglasville thats really reminiscent of those days when your mechanic knew you and your car and what to do about it. I experienced (1st) real human interaction, (2) honesty about what was going on with my car, and (3) I happened to luck up on David when I got there, and he KNEW what he was doing. Courteous, accommodating, fair prices, and very welcoming. This is my new shop.

I had my truck towed here based on all of the 5 star reviews. I was very disappointed. They did not even fully diagnose my car and wanted $180 for a diagnostic. I was willing to have my car fixed but it seemed like they really didnt want to help or even tell me what the problem really was. Come to find out they told me what I told them that it was the timing chain. But they didnt even dig further I had a broken camshaft and had to replace the entire cylinder head. I had to pay another more affordable mechanic for a real diagnostic. Also I was quoted 2,200 for timing chain and 4,000 for engine swap. My new mechanic charged me $60 for a diagnostic, 400 for timing chain and another $200 to replace the cylinder head. With parts and labor I spent 1,000 bucks. Avoid this shop. They are way too expensive and not worth your time or money.

When you find an honest auto repair place, you better hold on to their number! D&S Car Service in Douglasville is definitely a keeper! Hopefully, I wont ever need them on speed dial, but they are in my favs. I really was impressed.
