Front desk staff was very nice and helpful however the room was awful. Smoke detector had been ripped off the wall, 2 broken lamps, broken toilet seat and the mattress was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. The pool was also completely not usable. Stuff floating in it and the water was very murky. The only saving grace was the whirlpool tub in the room. It was old and rundown but it worked thankfully and felt good on sore muscles after a long day being on our motorcycle. Go to any other hotel in Dodge City. Avoid this one.
This place is a bit dated but ITS DODGE CITY. We stayed here because their hot tub was open and they advertised breakfast with your stay on booking.com. Well, the hot tub is FRIGID and no breakfast at all. Our room was clean and the nostalgic photos and things on display were awesome. However, even the pool was so cold my kids wouldnt swim. The only reason for 4 stars is because they are trying so hard to keep the Dodge City vibe alive. As a modern day hotel they could really do loads better.
Its not horrible! After reading the reviews, even with the bad ones oh, I was expecting more. It wasnt horrible, but it wasnt something to talk about either. Which is really a shame, because it could be so awesome. The rooms are extremely outdated but clean, the pool is extremely outdated but swimmable, the museum is a great idea, but they really need to work on it. We attached to restaurant its a little bet on the..... Honestly I dont even know what to say about that one. I went over there hoping to get a drink from the bar and it was closed but had some people sitting in the dark at the bar drinking. I looked at the salad bar and it reminded me of something stuck in time from when I was little.
The Dodge House Hotel is a pleasant an relaxing place to stay. They are friendly people an take care of their customers. I would recommend every one to stay here an the price is right. There is alot for the kids to do at the hotel to keep them entertained thats a plus for me with grandkids. I plan on staying here from here on out.
Walked into the lobby super hot, got to our room sat on the bed, rock hard and felt nothing but springs! The bed doesn’t have any fitted sheets.Asked front desk for another pillow and got it 12 hrs later!Turned on tv and you can hear it but no picture. In the shower the water mostly comes out of the faucet so it feels up past your ankles as you shower.Walked by one of the rooms in the dome and the carpet was soaked due to the ac leaking.Room is total disgust!!I get it was cheap but no need to have it filthy 24/7!
The staff was very friendly. Check in was very fast. Their restaurant has amazing food. Hotel is older but clean and we had a lot to do with pool and games there. Absolutely would stay there again.
Dirty nasty gross. Had gross stuff all over the wall. Bed was awful. The place needs to be torn down. It is NOT what it is advertised as on the website.
I love this place. Its a bit over the top for a hotel in terms of having that tourist trap appeal. But its a fun place to stay for a family, group, or adventurous couple. Its not high end at all, but it has the necessities and friendly, helpful staff.
No coffee in a motel! Restaurant says it would open at 7 am. Its now 812 and still closed. Hot everywhere. Pay a bit more to be comfortable!
Hotels.com lists this as a 3 star hotel. This is definitely NOT a 3 star hotel. Parking lot is ratty, landscaping is overgrown. There are several glass doors that have spiderweb cracks. Supposedly there is wi-fi if so, none of my devices can pick it up. When I was checking in, a family was leaving and wanted their money back as they were not going to stay there due to the conditions. I overheard one of the ladies say that they checked the room and the shower didnt work. This place sure has gone down hill in the 40 years since I had last stayed there.
Pay the extra money to stay somewhere else! Air conditioning doesnt work in any of the common areas. It was 110° sitting at the pool inside! The hallways and common areas are grossly dirty. The rooms are not terrible. No coffee! Dont plan on sleeping late and there are no room darkening blinds!
Friendly staff, clean room. AC was not working in the lobby, but it did in the room. Great pool area! Parking lot was disgusting, though. No upkeep, and trash everywhere.
Love this place. Not all modern day but I love the rooms and its a great place to bring kids. Not loud or weird looking people walking around.
Dirty and worst bed ever at a hotel. We didnt get any sleep. Yes the price is low but not low enough yuck!
If you want to smell old smoke & cows then this is the hotel for you. No breakfast as advertised and an overall disgusting hotel. One of our rooms had old vomit hardened into the carpet.
When we checked in the room was already occupied. We had to go to the front desk and wait to be assigned a different room. No smoke detector in our room, fire exit was blocked by 2x4 and caution tape, tile was broken in lobby and tripped over, carpet duct taped over door sill, common areas were extremely hot. No saloon as advertised, shuttle had windows boarded over.
Hotel does not match the pictures. Girls at the desk are very nice but other than the decorations and Gunsmoke memorabilia they’re the only good thing about this hotel. My husband and I stayed here because we are Gunsmoke fans and wanted to see the museum. The common area was full of local teens hanging out and playing ping pong and basketball which we had to cross through to get to the stairs to our room. The carpet on the stairs was held together with duct tape. Our room was hot and we soon discovered the a.c. didn’t work so we had to move all our stuff to another room. New room was cooler but tub had cracks and peeling paint liner. The hotel restaurant had closed at 2 because it was Sunday so we had to go out to find dinner and the waitress told us she had heard bad things about the hotel and that it wasn’t safe. When we came back had to call desk at 10:15 to ask them to stop the basketball playing so we could sleep. Needless to say, we did not stay a second night as originally planned. Overall it was very rundown and rooms were musty but clean. We did eat breakfast at the restaurant the next morning and it was good.
My husband travels for work and so I am often having to book his room for him from afar. Elizabeth and Destiny were excellent at the front desk late in the evening when I called. They were so helpful to make sure that his check in experience was smooth. They offered to go check the room to be sure that he had everything he needed and there wasn’t anything missed before he arrived. O’Neill the manager took my phone call today and assisted me as well. When my husband checked in, everything was wonderful and clean as well as a fair affordable rate. He will definitely be back again if he is passing through again. Thank you for keeping us clean and safe during this challenging time! 10 stars!
Reserved 2 rooms and requested them next to each other. Checked in and got our keys to find one of the rooms was already occupied. Went back to front desk and asked about the room on the other side of our one empty room to be told even though they hadnt checked in yet they couldnt move them to a different room so we could have our group together. Air conditioner broke and pool out of order. None of which was told when making reservations or confirming the day before arrival.
Everything I needed and they left me alone and didnt bother me all night. When I needed to charge my phone and forgot my phone charger they gave me one if there own. I returned it promptly as one should and thanked them. Saved my bacon this morning.
Let me start off by saying I stay in hotels 250 days a year, so Ive seen actual bad hotels and good hotels. This place is a decent place. 7/10.Pros-resteraunt next door. Most places with an attached restaurant price gouge for what you pay for your meal. This place is different. Food is actually pretty good and priced very well.-service was nice. The front desk man wasnt there when I arrived, but a quick call to the number posted on the lobby counter and he came running to get me squared away. Super friendly guy.-theres alot of neat photos and memorabilia from Dodge City of old here, along with a bunch of information about the old western Gunsmoke and the old cattle trails.-its CLEAN. I seen a few reviews that thought it is dirty. Its not. Its actually pretty clean. Its DATED though. The carpet and flooring in general is showing its age, the floor gets lumpy in some spots, furnishings are definitely dated but everything is clean as far as I can tell. (Owner, if youre reading this, please, PLEASE clean up the parking lot. I almost went elsewhere because of its poor maintenance.)-its CHEAP and has parking for truck/gooseneck trailer. This hotel is a budget hotel, albeit one with more personality and convience than a mtl6 or spr8. Rooms are large, you get a big TV, a huge fridge and an honest to goodness microwave that didnt run off of candle power.Cons- for some God awful reason, someone took it upon themselves to fire the weed eater to clean up around the building at 9:25 pm cst, which is 10:25 est to me. That didnt help me sleep any bud, and I dont appreciate it. That being said, I doubt they weed eat every day, so it doesnt pertain to everyone looking to stay here. I just drew the short straw this go round.-no black out curtains. This got a star deducted by itself. I drove 12 hours to get here and I have to be up at 4 am to set up an installation of equipment, and I got the sun in my eyes. Yes, they have red shades. But they arent nearly close enough to dark to hold the sun at bay. That, coupled with Wyatt Earp of the weed eating regulators, means I wont be getting much sleep. I reiterate, the weed eater is an annoyance and bad luck, not being able to darken the room for sleep is not.-lack of accessibil power outlets. Its a small gripe, but its there. Idk why hotels put the ONLY plug in right in the middle of where the bed is situated. These guys are far from the only offender, but its on my list regardless.-THE SOAP IS HORRIBLE! IT CLEANS HORRIBLE, IT SMELLS HORRIBLE, IM WILLING TO BET IT TASTES HORRIBLE TOO!All together? Cheap hotel, cool theme, good restaurant built in, friendly service but is definitely aged, need to square away the parking lot, and fix the curtain situation. If your just wanting a place to sleep with a couple things to get you out of the room after your meal, not a bad place. If you want flash and fancy, the LA Quinta is right next door and double the price.
Horribly hor hotel. Could not sleep. Also run down.
There was no pool. Book for grandkids. It was filled it. They need to change there photos, because they are lies. Room was ok.
This is a cute little hotel and the staff that work there are very nice. I will be staying here next time I come to town
Rm was not handicap access sink did drain and no one at desk when checking never stay here
Dodge City is a must see place, especially for Gunsmoke fans - which my husband truly is.The Dodge House will bring back the feelings of traveling back in the day when road trips were the only way to go. The hotel has seen a lot of years and its decor has come around to being stylish once again. The staff is incredibly friendly and the restaurant provides breakfast all day.Meeting Charlie Meade over breakfast was truly the high point of our trip. He is a gem.
Room smelled smoky. Otherwise good.
Carpet in our room & common areas was disgusting. Giant pieces of paint dangling from the ceiling in pool & play area. All 3 days we had to retrieve our own towels & toilet paper. Place is dilapidated . Desk staff friendly but even that couldnt make up for all this. Housekeeping staff is Horrible. They didnt even touch our room the last day. Also we paid for an additional day but they had issues locating that info. NEVER AGAIN!
Very cool place! Price was right!
This place was amazing! You cant stay in Dodge city without spending the night in the Dodge house. Staff was super nice, the rooms were absolutely immaculate (if a bit dated, but it totally fits the aesthetic!) Beds were comfy, and they even have a mini museum inside! (This was great because when we visited, all the museums were closed) plus an indoor pool, basketball hoop, arcade games, and billiard table. The attached restaurant was really good as well, and their staff was super accommodating to usCant wait to visit again when everything reopens!
Great service, needs some updating, restaurant was ok bar was closed due to COVID.
It was very nice and clean and the staff were so helpful
Good theme. Understaffed.
No ice machines were working, The only two lower level rooms with a Jacuzzi was out of order because of broken faucet and the pool was down for repairs . Called to ask for pillows and waited for 30 minutes. Called again and was informed that I had to pick them up myself at the front desk . Not the best weekend.
Housekeeping went in our room and started clearing it and WE HADNT EVEN CHECKED OUT YET! We were down playing pool at 930 in the morning and CHECK OUTS NOT TIL 11! I was so excited to stay here and couldn’t enjoy it bc housekeeping was in such a hurry to kick us out! That’s not even the worst part there was hair in the French fries!
Nice people so friendly
Carpet was filthy and gross. There was giant bug in room which was disgusting. One towel for 2 people!! Also less than half a roll of toilet paper!! One night was more than enough.
We checked in and out within minutes! We werent told that the pet rooms were also the smoking rooms. The carpet in the spiral staircase was torn and hanging off, great tripping hazard. Very worn out and tired throughout. Would not recommend.
When we arrived at the hotel around 9pm we were immediately welcomed by a very sweet girl, around 18 or 19. She was quick to help us with what we needed (unlike the older women in the morning during breakfast) My kids loved the pool! Me and husband really enjoyed the jacuzzi! Rooms were nice. The decor was very vibes, reminded me of the good old days.
Disgusting. See pics. Floor in room was not vacuumed. Bathroom floor and ceiling vent were also dirty. I paid $55 which is super cheap but I felt robbed. Ended up leaving at 8pm and checked into another hotel. Im sure this place was a prime tourist destination in the 70s but the owners now obviously are not even trying.
Dank smell throughout, carpeting torn and frayed, beat up furniture, floors were sticky so you had to wear shoes in the room, and the fire alarm beeped constantly. We called the desk about the fire alarm. They said theyd send someone to fix it, but nobody ever came so we had to disconnect it ourselves just so we could sleep.
This was an affordable vacation for the entire family. I have some great grand kids that just cant keep still. This old holidome had some activities so that they could burn off that energy from the car ride. In the morning they made some great gravy for biscuits. It allowed us to really enjoy seeing Dodge City. Bring your family you can afford to stay here.
Keep charging me after i left and keep trying to charge me for others on my credit card horrible place to stay
Nice, older, nostalgic, restaurant open, clean, good price.
Older motel but priced right, with clean soft beds, truck parking, on site resturant...all done in western flair.
Neat place to stay ...great price
They were friendly. You definitely get what you pay for. While I saw there was a deal on the rooms, the reviews were decent. The place is is in major need of refurbish and repair. The bed had to be over 10 years old and we were Leary of using the pillows. Unless you need to go super cheap, I wouldnt recommend. Its sad as it had a lot of cool things to see.
This is a great place to visit! A lot of history and very welcoming people. The food is awesome 👌 If you want to visit history, come and stay here!
Enjoyed our 10 day stay. All bout dodge city history here. Great rates 2 stay
Clean rooms but the smell of the indoor pool was to strong
Stayed two nights and didnt get much rest as the basketball hoop was just outside our door room was nice
Good room price is right
If I could give this place a 0 I would. We arrived at the hotel, got our rooms, and then left almost immediately after. They had a roach infestation! We walked in, luckily before we unloaded our luggage, and checked the rooms out. My 7 year old saw something crawling and pointed it out to us. Sure enough it was a roach. We went up to the front desk and explained to the lady what happened and she refunded our purchases. But because we booked online beforehand and got a deal, we ended up driving around for at least another hour trying to find something somewhat close to the price we intended to pay initially.I would not recommend this place at all!!!
First room we got assigned the air conditioner didn’t work, second room didn’t have sheets and was a mess, third room had a shower that wouldn’t turn off and had dirty towels
People who give this place a good review need to rethink what they believe is nice. This place was probably awesome 50 years ago. Friendly people though. Had to crank the a.c. to get rid of the moldy smell. Bed had to be older than me. No breakfast, yet has a full restaurant next door. Wont be back.
Nice waiter, widely diverse menu with many good things on it. Buffet looked nice. We ordered a roast sandwich and fries, although the roast was tender, it was tasteless and bland. We had to ask for BBQ sauce in order to eat it. The fries were good. Clean establishment with nice bathrooms.
Had such an amazing time staying here.. please dont expect the Ritz when staying here.. its old.. been around for a while. .. if youre a Gunsmoke fan its worth staying here just for all the history.. it just reminded me so much of my papa.. Friendly staff.. Fair prices.. Love the atmosphere
People tried to help.place is old.needs a lot of work.
This hotel is a bit dated and could use some TLC. The price was decent. The room was clean and had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Our bed wasnt the most comfortable, but OK.They are pet friendly for a small up charge.
Rooms appear to have been recently updated. Lots of hot water for shower! Felt like I was cold all night but didnt want to turn heat up too high and sweet partner out. Little heavier blanket would have been nice. Super friendly staff very kid oriented. over all a great place to stay for price. If traveling with kids this is the place to stay for sure!
Liked the decor. Staff was friendly. The mattress on our bed was very dated & uncomfortable. It would be great for family & friends to gather with pool side & connecting rooms. The place is steeped in old west history.
The Dodge House is a great place to stay. The hotel was clean, Kim is awesome, very friendly, she does it all, hard worker. Enjoyed chatting with her about the hotel, which they are revamping, new carpet and such. Beautiful chandelier in entry way. Our room was clean, shower worked great, freezer froze our water bottles, (I know that sounds funny but some dont). Breakfast was a lite breakfast, yogurt, muffins, waffles, apple juice, milk, coffee, more hardy breakfast served at restaurant attached to hotel. Loved the pictures in the breakfast area. I grew up watching Gun Smoke, still do. Large area with volleyball court, basketball hoop, nice pool and large room for parties. Overall great stay! Check out the restaurant attached to the hotel, was nice, good food, good prices, very friendly staff! I recommend the Dodge House Hotel and Convention Center in Dodge City, Kansas.
Um, if they fix the tvs, door locks, and resolve the many issues it will be nice again. They should start by ridding the bedbug infestation and mold issues.
I was sent to western Kansas to work for a year and 8 months and the dodge house was centrally located to the area. It provided me with all the comforts of home as best it could be. The staff were always friendly and helpful to me. Couldnt think of a better place to stay in the general area for the price and amenities. Dinners at the bar and restaurant located on premises made life so much easier. Thank u to all the staff you were the best. Highly recommend this place as a night over or a place to stay for any amount of time. PS the steaks are amazing. Stop in and get one. You wont regret it.
I will never stay here again! I had such a horrible allergy attack. Room #205 was horrible. Thankfully they gave me a different room... #209 I was able to breath but it was still miserable. Its all indoors. Its hot! The common area was hot, when I got up for breakfast I was sweating trying to get something to eat. Made for a miserable start to my day.
The check in was great. The young lady at the front desk was very courteous and quickly got us taken care of. We drove around to the side of the building where our room was located to park. It was immediately apparent when we walked through the door that there is a pool in the building somewhere because the hallway was extremely humid. We got to our room and opened the door and the lights were on in the room. I peeked my head into the room and noticed that both of the beds were a mess and so was the bathroom (Did I mention that we checked in at 11:00 p.m.?). We went to the front desk and I kindly told the young lady that housekeeping didnt seem to make it to the room she gave us. An older lady behind the counter began talking to the young lady and at that point it became unclear whether the room was simply not cleaned by housekeeping or if somebody else was staying in that room because the older lady seemed pretty certain that the room we were given was already occupied. We asked for a refund, which we were promptly and courteously given along with an apology.
The old west theme in the lobby as well as fascinating Gunsmoke memorabilia on the walls of the breakfast area are pretty cool. The rooms are modern and well maintained. The restaurant serves generous portions at a reasonable price.
Very run down and in desperate need of a face lift. Rooms were dirty, 1-mismatch pillow on each bed, 2 towels per room, carpet was stained and peeling apart, walls and ceilings were also stained. Doors to outside didnt lock and 1 wouldnt even close, not safe at all. A couple glass doors were also shattered, but not being replaced or taped. They also advertise a bar, but they do not have one. I gave 1 star for the food, it was better than I expected, but nothing spectacular. And the 2nd star was for the pool. No slide like photos show, but it was warm and 7 deep. The Hot tub stunk and was green though.
Great service and super rates!
This is an old convention center in need of a remodel, but if youre looking for value this is the place, we got a two room suite for under 70 per night. This place is unique and we hope they dont let it go under, itt really does put you in the old west spirit !
Rooms were dusty. King bed was very firm. Room Needed a little better cleaning. Place is a little dated but the look makes it feel more nostalgic. Other than that, for the price, you cant beat it! Night shift desk clerk and Day shift desk clerk were very nice and got me checked in and out in a breeze!
Rooms are very, very nice! The lobby is very much decorated to match the city! Although no continental breakfast, well worth the stay! There is a restaurant on the premmisses! Which is amazing! Breakfast buffet along with lunch and a dinner buffet# something for everyone! Hotel staff friendly and curtious too all!
This place has gone to s**t. We always come here so the kids can have a good time this visit we found black mold on the walls paint is peeling off. The rooms smell and everything was out of order. Beds and pillows are wore out! We will not be back!
The worse hotel experience in my whole entire life. Making a reservation took 6 calls, as they kept placing me.on hold then hanging up. I confirmed with the lady the cost including my pet fee 3 times. Upon arrival, there was nobody in the reception. I wated for 25 min. When I paid, the claim the total of the room was different that what the lady oj the phone andnI discussed, not only that but the tax was a total of 10.29 out of a $60 dllr sale? No matter how many times I asked they had no answer or explanation as to why that was do hight. The ticket does not specify it either. The room key ddnt work, which prompted me to go to the lobby, and the receptionist tried to xharge me ANOTHER PET FEE. once in the room, (the key never fully worked. We had to insert the key at least 7 times each time) the tv ddnt work, there waa no toilet paper and the towels were only hand size.I requested towels for the pool and they were about the bathroom size for the hands. The pool had so much bleach we could not even swim. Our skin was burning.I dont know, but this place is a nightmare. I would give it minuse zero if I could.
Definitely needs some updates. A little shabby in places but the room was very clean. Pool is nice and has a nice deep end. Several games and activities for something to do at the hotel. The staff was awesome! Housekeeping was friendly and did a good job. Front desk staff were very helpful and engaging. Answered every question I had. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel for the money!! Nice rooms. Great service. The restaurant has awesome food, breakfast all day long with a great buffet in the AM. Great evening buffet as well. The bar is currently not open is the only downside. Good off street parking even for semis.
We have always stayed here in the past will not stay there ever again mold in the showers mold and the ceilings chairs are filthy the floor out by the swimming pool is filthy ice machines do not work pop machine does not work Wi-Fi does not work
This old gem is just that. Old!!! We loved it. Honestly it was such a fun throw back and we only went for the kids. The room was clean, cold ac, and good water pressure. The atrium is one of those things that if you grew up in the 70s or 80s you will be taken back to your childhood. It is not fancy, up to date, posh... it is a great pit stop if you have kids. Let them be free in a piece of your childhood!
Its quite alright when you are having fun
It was nice i like the rooms and the people that work here are verry nice
First the good! Excellent location, great parking and no complaints at all on the service! Theres a EXCELLENT rec room/pool area with basketball and volleyball along with a gazebo area. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel is very quiet, we slept great! The bad? This is one of those old gems that desperately needs updated or it wont be around for many more years. Hopefully they start that soon!
Very clean and comfortably thank you for a good night sleep and shower
Nice inexpensive establishment with many amenities. I and I believe others would pay 10 to $20 more a night for this facility to be updated and not have a problem with that at all. Very comfortable nights rest and excellent staff.
* Old-school touristy history-themed hotel w/a very nice indoor pool, sauna and dual game room, basketball and volleyball mini-courts, a basic breakfast that was still available at 10:30am.* Our second floor room was nice and clean, 2 comfortable queen beds, plenty of blankets, our a/c- heater unit worked great, shower never lost hot water even after 2 long showers.* My only complaint is they need much darker curtains because the summer sun glared in very intensely at 6am and lasted 45 minutes because of the angle of the skylight windows.* Staff was friendly and we even got a peek at one of the empty honeymoon suites. Loft room w/a queen bed, tv, restroom upstairs. Double jetted tub, pull-out queen couch downstairs. Decently priced rooms during the weekdays.
Not very updated. The water in the pool with freezing. Kids had swim around in the hot tub because that was the normal temperature of water. But we were there and the dead of winter. So Im sure the pool would be warmer in the summer. The kids loved the way it looked. Good enough for a one-night stop. We were just passing through. And it wasnt very expensive!
Great service! Enjoyed our room. Great place for kids.
It needs updated. But its totally awesome I wish I could buy it n renovate it.
Pet friendly and plenty of room for kids to play
Friendly but common area was a bit warm and musty smell in hallway. Room was clean and comfortable!
If you’re looking for character/personality then this hotel is it! This is a great representation of Dodge City!!! The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Yes, it’s dated and in need of some remodeling, but the hotel has so much to see it will take a day just to look at and read all of the memorabilia. There is a dome room at the heart of the hotel that is awesome... with a pool, small arcade, basketball area, a full volleyball court, sitting areas, and an old western saloon style room with Gunsmoke memories that rivals the reruns. There is also a laundry area. The family style restaurant offers exceptional home cooking. I recommend this hotel to individuals, families, adults, and kids!!!
Very dirty and run down! Has not been updated in ages. We went for a party in one of the rental rooms and when you would walk out into the recreational area with the pool, there was NO A/C in the middle of summer. So everyone was sweaty and gross. Broken windows in the diner. Rooms from the 80s/early 90s. Luckily we didnt stay. Saw a woman waiting for the manager in the lobby and the manager didnt show up for over an hour. Every time I would walk through to the bathroom she was still waiting. Terrible service.
I read most of the reviews and I have to say Ive really enjoyed our stay here. One of the booking sites messed up our dates but the lady at the front desk was very patient and allowed me to call and cancel through the booking place then got us two rooms at a great rate. Dodge is an older town to come into this hotel just fits with the rest of themed town. Yes the building is old but you get the feel of an older era. Staff is extremely friendly, the restaurant had really good food and a great staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean. NO BUGS which is great. Could the place use a touch up maybe on some things. But overall my family and I were very satisfied with our stay. Alot for the family to do just in the hotel. Definitely will be coming back.
A bit rough, honestly. Needs an update. It was probably excellent in its day, but now the carpets are disgusting, pool and spa smell funny, breakfast selection was poor (waffles and cereal - but only one type)... more cons than pros.Like the historical aspect. Bed wasn’t too bad. Indoor volleyball court and game area is cool.
Every single person I talked to was delightfully friendly and talkative. The decor, primarily in the large indoor space (with a basketball hoop, pool, and arcade) is kitschy and charming in the best way possible.
