When you think of a classic barber shop, you think of queen city barber. Theres no appointments, you show up and hang out. Sometimes youre the only one there, sometimes theres four people ahead of you. Either way it doesnt matter, because youll find yourself immersed in a conversation about football, hockey, hunting, or fishing. The wait never seems terrible because its such a pleasant place to pass the time. When I think of a barber shop, queen city barber is what I want. Theres no gimmick, no fancy hair conditioner. Just a good quality haircut, a hot shave, they vacuum all the loose hair off my head, and use a back massager to round out the experience.There used to be an older gentleman that ran the place, and now his apprentice runs the place. And its still the only place I want my hair cut.

Located in the heart of downtown Dickinson on First Street I found the Queen City Barber Shop. Great Experience and Great Atmosphere. Friendly Barber Brian did an amazing job cutting my hair the way wanted and even trimmed my beard. Thanks Brian it was a pleasure meeting you.

Wow I was impressed with the attention these barbers have..If you are a walk in and enter the shop before 530pm then you are getting a haircut by all means...loved the service and place will be returning in w weeks

Went in wanting a good haircut, knowing I wanted a fade. Brian quizzed me a little on how short I wanted, and even with the vague answers he managed to pull off a great looking haircut. I am very impressed with the time and attention to detail he put into my experience there!
