I came here because I received a letter from the City stating I owe them. Regina Otis was very friendly and tried her best to assist me, then Arneatta Jamerson came and assisted Mrs. Otis and got me to get more in return. Ill definitely be coming here from now on.

This review is for a specific employee at the Woodward location. Ms. Jameson (or Jamison? Im not sure!) was so kind and helpful. I have been dealing with a stressful tax issue for a while and working with her was wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeble, kind, and deserves a raise!

Visited this location to get my taxes done and they were done incorrectly. Went back to talk to someone about it been done incorrectly and one person told me it wasn’t filled incorrectly but the manager of the office told me they were processed wrong. I tried to reschedule with the manager of the office and was told she didn’t have an opening for a week so I had to wait (even though it was their fault). So I waited til the following week and my appointment got changed without anyone notifying me. I am extremely upset for the inconvenience because I am still working (and I’m not working from home) during this pandemic.

I scheduled an appointment with Jeffrey Blalark online without knowing him. I had to amend my state taxes (I made a mistake when filing online). He was so nice! He explained everything to me and made sure I got the max tax refund I could get. Im very happy with the quality of his work and impressed with knowledge and professionalism. Highly recommended!!

Got my taxes done at the Woodward location and someone elses completed tax forms was stapled in with mine. I was in possession of a strangers social security number as well as her husbands SSN, plus other pertinent, security sensitive information. I took all the forms back to H&R Block and brought the error to the attention of the staff and manager. Brenda, the manager said she would make the unsuspecting clients aware of the breach and follow up with me, but I never heard back so I highly doubt she reached to Mrs. Salam either. Theres no way of me knowing if my personal information was misplaced too which is quite worrisome and frustrating. Then, to add insult to injury literally nothing was done to remedy the situation. I am beyond disappointed to say the least.

My Tax Specialist, Ms. Luvenia Jackson, was outstanding. She worked patiently and diligently, explaining my return to me in detail. The receptionist in the office was also extremely kind and welcoming. I would rather file with H&R Block than use an online filing program any day, as these ladies have made my filing experience a pleasure.

It was extremely easy to make an appointment. Kevin was very knowledgeable and let me know what documents I needed for the appointment. It was a smooth check in process. Luvenia was personable, knowledgeable, and explained things thoroughly but didnt talk over my head.

Never had an issue with tax preparation and services. Some may complain about the prices but the peace of mind is what you pay for. With so much calling on in the world today I just don’t feel comfortable in somebody’s Living room doing my taxes and handling all of my sensitive information
