Lots of parking easy to find staff were nice
Horrible customer service and didnt accept my pet because I was (updates my gps said I got there at 5:37am!) 7 minutes after the 2 hour prior departure. The older woman with slight gray hair, white lady, even said its under her discretion and didnt allow me to ship. She also did great me. No big deal but shows she has no passion to work. I think AA is neglecting to value their customers. I read that other people have to make multiple trips to get things done right and the same multiple past shipment. To leave a customer feeling like a piece of dog poop is the ultimate failing leadership quality. If you need a top notch leader, Im the one. Im open for employment just out of passion to make people satisfied with my department...so there you go...finding quality employment is not the issue. Its negligence on part of AA for allowing such horrible people to run this department. Go inside the airport, every I encounter has been professional and graceful. Delta cargo in Lansing is beyond amazing 👏 Never had an issue and they remember me by name.If youre reading this SPEAK UP!! MAKE A REVIEW!Management needs to be replaced. In all honesty.
I actually like going here sometimes you see people in all shorts of predicament trying to get their pets to love ones. But, picking up freight can be a hassle. Customers service needs attention

I wish I could rate my experience 0 stars. The staff is incredibly rude and unwilling to accommodate extenuating circumstances. I completely moved out of my house and was dropping my pets off at the airport before I started a 20 hour drive to my new house. I got stuck in traffic due to Detroit road conditions in December and arrived 1hr 50 mins before my flight instead of 2 hrs prior. While Im struggling to unload my pets from the car, the front desk agent just stood in front of the desk and giving me dirty looks while I lug three giant crates into the office by myself. Once I get the crates into the office, the agent tells me that Im 20 mins late, even though I had gotten there 10 mins prior, and told me that she refused to ship my pets. I explained to her that I had no home to go to and that I was moving and needed to ship the animals today. The front desk agent told me she didnt care and refused to help me. The health certificates for my animals were only good through today and would cost me $150 to renew, but they still refused to accommodate me. I ended up having to pay $1100 for an emergency flight out the next day and an emergency vet visit to renew the health certificates. On top of this, I was forced to pay $300 for cancelling my hotel reservations for my road trip since I was unable to stick to my original itinerary. I am writing this from the floor of my house with a single pillow and blanket because all of my furniture is packed up. All because I was stuck in Detroit traffic and Air General refused to be flexible.
Have had to use them a couple times and everytime we leave with blood pressure raised and had to make 2 trips each time. Government form works ok 2 times and than it doesnt. Staff is just going to do bare minimum. I sure wish we could use another company but they have monopoly
