Ive been going for over a year, and the barber Ive usually dealt with, Destiny Rhea, has been consistently professional and accommodating, which are especially welcome qualities in this time of COVID.

My 10 year old son loved his new hair cut. The staff was very patient and polite. Also, I enjoyed their cafe upstair. It was very quiet and clean. The pour over decaf coffee was good. The atmosphere and decor was very welcoming. Thanks you for your services. We will be returning in the future.

Well, last time I post a misunderstanding situation about booking mistake. Appears it was a small mistake but the shop handled. Very well and solved the issue as fast as they could and I received a very perfect treatment. Thanks to Chad and (Destiny) my favorite barber there and Michigan for taking care of it and now I’m back here satisfied and happy. It will always be the best spot to get any kind of hair cut. I apologize and thanks guys for the fix.

I have been going to this shop for almost 2 years and have loved the environment that they have created. I always go to Brees Frederick For my cut and he does an amazing job. He also provides a comfortable environment to have a chat when you want one or some peace and quiet. Overall a quality shop and I recommend stopping by to check it out.

Ive been to 3 different barbers in Buffalo and I was disappointed with every single one. I moved and thought I should try and get cleaned up before starting a new job. This place was definitely worth the 40 minute drive out there. The atmosphere was great and the cut was amazing. Highly recommend them and their line of products.

I drive about 40 minutes minimum to get to this place. And it’s worth every minute of traffic or dollar I spend. The vibe, atmosphere and people there are real cool. I see Destiny and everytime she kills it. Super friendly, interesting and she really takes care of you. Everyone else there is real cool and fun but she’s the only one I’ll see. I cannot recommend this place enough and I cannot recommend her enough.

Brees has an exacting touch, always creates a look that gets better with each passing day. I usually fight with myself to even get my hair and beard trimmed as I love it even months after his cut.

One of the stars is for ease of appointment. So I had a second bad haircut and now I’ll never go back. Had to shave my beard when I got home because my barber left my entire neck untouched, yet trimmed down the rest of my beard; and almost two weeks later I have to go get another cut because thr grow back makes me look like Bernie Sanders and I’m only 36. And my barber was on something. I could say alcohol but don’t want to assume because I couldn’t smell it with my mask on.

I had a 2:30 appointment and arrived on time. Your website shows a haircut and beard trim for 45$ with a time frame of 45 minutes. He zipped through my hair and beard in about 16 minutes. I think 45$ is a bit overpriced for the little time spent on my services. My past experiences here took at least 30 minutes or longer. I may not come back. You would think I would at least get my hair washed.

My barber had stop cutting due to covid. I needed a new barber. I googled Detroit Barberand was able to find a women barber, Destiny. She is great. I sent her a picture of my style and she was able to cut it. I have already referred people to her.

I’ve had two great experiences here and look forward to many more. The staff are fun and skilled. They have a great set of products for sale (I particularly like their beard oil). The shop is full of antique furniture and has a great old-fashioned ambiance. My barbers have given great cuts and always make me feel welcomed and at home. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Booked “The Works “ service for my fiancé as a birthday present. Booked with Isaiah. Isaiah was with another client and threw him to another available barber. All they gave him was a haircut and beard trim with hot towel. Very disappointed because he was supposed to receive a 1hr service and didn’t get what was booked for.

These barbers so money hungry can’t even get a chance to look at yourself in mirror after you get done. They start running to the cash register soon as they get done. They showed me disrespect so I’m giving them the proper rating they deserve.

I had an appointment with Brees today for a head shave. This was my first time coming to the shop. I found the staff to be welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Brees was ready right at my appointment time. He was very careful and meticulous while shaving my head. He was quite personable and conversational. I highly recommend Brees and this shop. My experience was well worth it.

Atmosphere is very chill. The barbers are on point with the styles and the jokes. Cant beat the location either.

Brees is always on time and professional. He is honest about your haircut and what needs to be done to elevate your experience. He is a great communicator and has a very pleasant demeanor. The rest of the staff at Detroit Barber Co are always friendly and greet you accordingly when you walk in the door and timely when you need to cash out even when busy. The prices at Detroit Barber may seem off putting to some but the quality and professionalism is well worth the cost of services.

Worst place in town, I visited last week first and last time, I asked for a low fade hair cut, I got a 2 and 3 blade, thats about it. Mediocre job, I went to. Barber shop expecting a Barber job level not a Great Clips job! The biggest problem was at the end and time to pay $45 for that pathetic job, they need a definition of BARBER shop!!Never again!!

Ive gone here a few times to have Willie trim my beard up and its the best service Ive gotten from a barber shop. Clean, takes his time to do it right, and is generally a cool dude.Also their aftershave is a lifesaver. I have super sensitive skin and it helps tremendously and smells great.

The booking process was made easy by the personnel handling my phone. I was fortunate enough to get a spot almost immediately.It being my first visit I did not have a barber in mind. I describe what I wanted and was recommended a barber named Willie.I am absolutely happy with how Willie cut my beard. I cant wait to visit again and to recommend him as a barber to other men with beards.The atmosphere was enjoyable. There was lots of laughter and small talk. looking at the cuts of The barbers did I think I would have been in good hands in any of their seats.

$40 for a Bald Fade, the prices are extremely high, I recommend your neighborhood barbershop, youd probably get more of friendlier atmosphere.

Ive been putting off getting a haircut since moving to Detroit because I wasnt sure if anyone would do as good a job as my old salon artist... enter Brian. This guy is the nicest, kindest, most gentle barber Ive ever had the experience of visiting. He worked with my drop fade request and plenty of pictures, executed it perfectly, took the time to do touchups and styling, and Ive never been happier with a fresh haircut. Usually it takes a couple of weeks for me to like the new do -- not so with this fellow. Brian did it right the first time and I will certainly be back for the next time. Love this place. I’ve seen Mike 5-6 times and have never been disappointed. He is highly skilled and really listens to what you want and gives good advice based on your actual hair. One reason I chose Detroit Barber Co. was the large amount of barbers to choose from. I’ve felt awkward having a bad experience in a place with 2-3 chairs and not wanting to book with another person in the same shop, so a large selection of talent was comforting. That said, I’ve seen Mike every time and never needed to book with anyone else. He’s great!
