Colleen was fantastic! She spent over 45min on my hair. She was meticulous and careful. The conversation was good and never akward or boring. Shes great with making you feel welcome.Note: she only cuts mens hairThis is a small shop just a single room in the back of the hotel, but its cozy and nice. She only charges $7 for the first cut and shes very reasonable with pricing after that! Highly recommend.

This is my first time ever leaving a review on anything and I must say, theres a very valid reason on why Im deciding to do my first one on my experience with Colleen; she was excellent! I was extremely impressed with her attention to detail. She washed my hair, gave me the hot towel around the neck, hit the hard part with a razor, and was a fantastic communicator which is a big factor for me because theres nothing like a great conversation while receiving an ever greater haircut.If you enjoy quality, head to Colleens!Highly recommend!

Located inside the Athenaeum Hotel. Colleen and her barbershop has a way of making you feel as if you were her most important client. Can this be attributed to her care in understanding your needs in respect of your hair? Her technical abilities when it comes to cutting and styling? Or the extra that she does for no additional charges that truly make you feel special? That will be up to the client to decide. However, one thing is guaranteed with her, if you do not receive in your opinion the best haircut from her you will surely receive the best haircut experience and that factor goes a long way in comparison to the final product.

Colleen is a wonderful person. She is a great conversationalist and has quite a bit to her. She really takes her time to cut hair well. Im quite satisfied with my cut and have already received a few complements. Ill definitely be heading back for another cut. Her shop is on the ground floor of the hotel lobby in the back right. There is bicycle parking in front of the parking structure opposite of the hotel. Definitely book on her website if you want an appointment.

Worst experience ever for my son. Right from the beginning she was rude because apparently her online appt system put in my name instead of my husbands name, literally talking to another customer saying look see it doesnt say that. then she didnt care to listen or ask how my 1 year Im old is comfortable for his haircuts. me and husband both said no to candy for our own child 3 times....she completely ignored us and gave him a piece anyway. she ended up doing such an awful job on my boy that Im going to have to go get it lined up right. and to top it all off her OWN webpage says new customers are $7 cuts. she charged is $12 and even with the cistomer before she had a different lower pricing than her normal for them, so she changes her pricing as she pleases. do yourself a favor and stay far away.
