Excellent experience good people, took my 2011 Durango for service had a cracked radiator. My car was fix the next hell maybe the same day reasonable price and communicated with me about the job the whole time.!! Definitely recommend !!

Man could have taken my money to inspect the thing I thought was wrong with my car with my total lack of car knowledge. Instead he told me that the shaking was due to me needing to replace my tires and referred me to a tire shop. Clearly this place is here to provide a quality service to the public first before making money, their hearts are in the right place.

Great and reliable shop! When my truck was stuck on the side of the road I talked to Maurice himself and he was very helpful. Got my car towed there after hours and it was safe there all night. The next day they replaced my alternator for a fair price and had it ready for me quickly.After picking it up, a few days later, the car wouldn’t start again. Honestly, I was livid, but when I called Maurice, again he was very courteous and informed me that the battery itself might also need to be replaced. Maurice told me to “just come on down and I’ll take care of you as a top priority”. Brought my truck back, and as promised, Maurice got me in right away and replaced the battery quickly.I am normally weary of repair shops because I feel like many of them can’t be trusted. I was very satisfied with the work that they did on my car (a 2006 Buick lucerne). Thought there was a problem with the head gasket, but turned out that the water pump was failing. They took care of the issue very quickly. Thanks again for repairing my car!

My cars rotors and brake pad were due for change. Also I had added sealant in the car tires. Maurices went out of the way. He worked after hours to fix my car. I had to move next day and very much appreciated him helping out. Very genuine guy and tells you the price right away for what your car needs. For my next repair, I am definitely coming back!

Told the guy on the phone my car has been sitting for two weeks since I lost my income due to covid. He told me it was obvious it wasnt urgent and that he wouldnt look at it for a couple more weeks. The honesty is nice but assuming its not urgent to fix my car is pretty wack. Would not recommend.

I used to get my repairs done here years ago when it was known as Shepards Hi-Tech Automotive Services. Then I bought a new car, in 2002, and started taking it to a dealer for repair. The dealer was doing a good job so I just kept going there and eventually I forgot about this place. At first the dealer would have my repairs done the same or the next day. Then about 4 years ago they started to keep my car for days while making minor repairs. The last straw for me was when they took two weeks to put in a new fuel pump. So I asked my family members did they know of any good auto repair shops and a sister said with enthusiasm go to Maurices auto shop, you know the one that used to be called Shepards. So now I am back where I used to go before I bought a new car and started going to the dealer. Ive been back twice. First was last November when I had to have a tune-up done.Then this week I needed a complete brake job front and back and my ac compressor needed repair. I am completely satisfied with the work done and the time it took for repairs. I heartily recommend Maurices to anyone whos looking for a good place to get their vehicle repaired.

I took a chance and had his shop repair my truck, within 48 hours my truck was ready! “I’m completely and totally satisfied”with the service I received I’m recommending this shop to all my family, coworkers, church members and neighbors

Had been having issues with my car randomly not starting up, so called Maurice to help me solve the problem. He claimed my starter needed to be replaced, so I paid him $600 for him to replace it. 3 days later, the car is not starting up again. Literally $600 down the drain. For nothing. As much as I hate saying it, It’s hard being a woman trying to find somewhere to truly trust & I don’t believe this was one of them. Won’t be back.

I had never been to Maurice’s before, but I am glad I went. Maurice himself made sure to call me and was very straight forward about telling me the cost to repair my vehicle. They were able to get my vehicle in and out in 2 days (would have only taken 1 day, but they needed to order a special part).Bottom line is Maurice can be trusted with your vehicle and will do good work in a timely manner. Would recommend!

Maurice was such a pleasure to work with. We spoke on the phone for 10 minutes before I even went in and he answered all my questions. When arriving, he noticed that my fix was quick so he set aside time to quickly diagnose and repair my issue. Maurice also took the time to explain exactly what happened to my car and what I can do to prevent the issue from happening again. He is so educated in electronics and cars that this is only place to take your car for services.

On one particular repair he proved his frugality by coaching me thing he had to replace and things he was able to just bend back.

This place in my opinion is a rip-off, I took my 1991 Geo Tracker to to his place to get fix, almost $600.00 and the car broke down again a week later. I had my vehicle towed back to this shop and he couldnt tell me what was going on with it, after taking my money. He had my vehicle for almost three weeks with no resolution and told me to replace the fuel pump would destroy my vehicle. I had another mechanic check my vehicle out, and within 10 minutes he had the vehicle up and running. So much for being a high tech automotive facility. Maurice is a fast talker and full of it. I will never recommend this place to any of my friends, and will never take another one of my cars to him. Car owners be aware!

Amazing service. My brakes were completely out and I brought it to Maurice’s based off the great reviews and convenient location. There was way more work than I thought I needed, but Maurice explained everything to me and offered to get me out in the same day even though they were closing soon. The price was honest and very fair. The people are very kind. Being a young lady with zero car experience I trusted they’d get the job done right and they did. Again, amazing service. The customer service was excellent and I think they did a great job, but I dont know much about cars and what different services cost. I was told by the dealer that I needed a whole lot of work done and Maurices team confirmed two things that I heard some place else. Maurice said that I didnt need some work done but he told me what I did need to have done so I got it done. They saved me a few hundred dollars on work that I didnt need!

Very Reliable, Not Expensive

Hes trustworthy! He calls when he says he will. The shop is open before I go to work and even after 6. When I ask more questions, he is patient with responses and explanations. I dont feel like Im getting fleeced like when I go to the dealer. This is my third repair in a year and each experience is a good one.

I am from out of state and drive a classic car. When I was in MI for work and my car broke down I was very skeptical about who to take her to for repairs. After reading the reviews I went to Maurices and am very pleased I did. He and his tech Greg (I hope I am remembering the name correctly) completely replaced my distributor assembly with module and re-timed her to near perfection in 2 days! The bill was also very fair, even a little less than I had expected. They were very easy to talk to about the repairs and very professional. They even flipped my floor mat over so as not to get any grease or muck from their shoes on my carpet. I felt they respected my car as much as I did; that is not easy to find. Long story short, my car went in broken and came out running better than ever in a reasonable time frame and for a fair price.

My starter went bad and Maurices was the closest mechanic shop. I read his reviews here and on yelp and he seemed to be reliable and fair. I went in and saw him, and he set me up with a towing company that also gave me a fair price to get my car from where it had broken down to his shop. He had the starter replacement done in a single day (I knew from looking online that this was a difficult repair, which is why I didnt attempt it on my own) and I was very impressed! I will bring cars here in the future.

I was extremely impressed with Maurices service. I went to Maurices when my engine started overheating about 1 mile into my road trip to New Orleans. I went to Maurices about 4 PM on a Friday afternoon and I needed to be in Nashville by Sunday morning.I had a bad gasket and was leaking coolant all over the place. Maurice gave me a fair price of $1000 ($1500 was what my sister paid previously for identical repair on her Buick). Maurice stayed late and had my car ready by about 11AM the next morning. I drove 2600 miles over the next week without any issues. I will definitely be bringing my business to Maurice in the future.
