Last night I had a tire change the tow driver that was sent to me was very nice he could not get my bolts off but he used all options to make sure I was taken care of I appreciate the help and the customer service I was very pleased will you this tow company again.

I was in a major accident where I suffered bodily injuries and only had use of one hand. I arrived at the towing company with my husband so he could assist with retrieval of personal items, however, Troy’s refused to allow him back with him and the staff was not willing to assist me. Additionally, front staff was confrontational and rude. As a result, I was unable to get all of my personal effects. To add the cherry on top, when the insurance company came to pick up my vehicle the next day, Troy’s would not release the vehicle to them without me being present. They refused for paperwork signing that would allow for this transition and continues to assess charges. This is the worst experience ever and as a victim of a crash, this experience is insensitive and unnecessary.

Took my niece there today to get her purse out of car after it was towed there from an accident they wouldnt let her have her I.D, her wallet, or purse saying they needed the regerstration. She explained that it was in the car as well and they told she couldnt have it. Mind u it wasnt towed by police. When my niece kept trying to figure out why she couldnt get her ID the girl behind the glass got rude and belligerent with her and the older lady with her told her they was gonna go through her wallet and purse. My niece now has to try and get a copy of car registration and my niece stuff has been gone through its not just her they gonna have to worry about

I contacted this company as well as a few others because my car broke down, it was dark and I was by myself. They did not show up in the time frame they said they would so I was towed by another company. I could not cancel my tow because no one picked up the phone when I tried calling back several times. They use an outside vendor (Fidelity Roadside) to collect payments. I was charged even though they did not tow my car. Fidelity has a 50% to 100% cancelation fee. What tow service charges you before they even get to you and hook up your car? This one does with their partner Fidelity. I have since tried calling both companies and still cant get through to get my $259 back or at least part of it. The manager at Fidelity wont return my phone call at all.

Lesson learned: dont let anyone else drive your vehicle. The peeps at Troys towing made it more bearable. Everyone was cool. The young lady working the counter is a sweetheart. The tow drivers working the yard kept saying things to make me laugh, trying to put a smile on my face. I appreciate it. I got my vehicle back and could tell the police ransacked it. But it was a dollar on the dash that was not touched by the tow truck driver. Good looking; I need every dollar at this point! lol

I needed help starting the car because the battery was dead. The service was very quick but only after waiting for a long time for the arrival of it. The individual who showed up was knowledgeable of what needed to be done.

Very rude and they have tinted bulletproof glass and now I know why they tell you you cant drive your car they have to tow it to a destination for you for $150 outrageous then the instant you complain they tell you well you could have arranged your own tow but on the phone they tell you they charge $285 to get your car back but you cant drive it WE HAVE TO TOW IT they never tell you you can arrange your own tow which I would have for $35. Soon as I got my car I drove it home highland park is robbing people during a pandemics when people arent working all because I had a tail light out never again

Had a call out in their area, these guys came to the rescue as usual in a great timely manner not only showing respect and professionalism, but providing precise care for my customer and their vehicle! Prices were on point as well as that customer service! MOST CERTAINLY recommended to others!

The State Police should be ashamed that they use a scammer like Troy’s. My husband was dazed after a car accident and they refused wait five minutes for me to get there - had the vehicle loaded before I could make any decisions then forced me to pay $200 to drop it right where it was, saying they’ll take it to their yard and insurance can pay. Now I have scam charges from another business they’re probably connected to - hadn’t used the card anywhere except to pay off these scammers. I’d rather push my car 20 miles than deal with them. Disgusting.

Worst customer service ever completely mislead over charges. They said they would tow us but it would be $200+ we said we had roadside and did not want to pay that much. So they told us to let them take it to there yard and our roadside could get it there as if this was a courtesy. Well when we went to pick it up they charged almost $600 to get it back and for wrapping windows they could have just asked for the keys for. Then would not allow a big tow company to come in for us and we had to wait for one they approved. That driver then proceeded to take everyone but us we sat there for 2hrs the first day never came, the from 11am to 430 the second day. A complete scam and joke use your roadside and never use a tow company the police use PERIODUpdate: This was in my girlfriends name it was May 27th and 28th this year Silver Chrysler Town & Country. We cashed out minutes before you closed on that Friday the 28th. Also the driver then tried to rock the van off the flatbed instead of asking for the keys. This will destroy your transmission do not ever let a driver do that.

They got my lincoln towncar out of an inaccessible place with out damaging the car, the house or the yard. I was amazed!! Great guy great service!!! I hope I dont have to but I would gladly use them again and will be referring friends.

One of the Customer representatives is extremely rude, and nasty... wouldnt let me speak nor get my point across without over talking me. She should be retrained and reevaluated because a person like that doesnt bring happiness to a situation that a person has going on. Understand its not their problem to deal with they just give out the information. She should be more detailed to listening and understanding show some empathy! Thank God you have one person there when I called back who actually knows how to talk people correctly!

Good. Driver did not put the vehicle on premises. He let the vehicle down in the street where there is traffic.

I arrived to Troys towing to retrieve items from my vehicle around 440 pm on 2/11/2021. Upon entering, I greeted the lady behind the reflective glass. Rudely she said, You need to move your car out of our grass! There was snow on the lot and tire tracks throughout. There arent any signs that say, No Parking. I moved my car and came back in to handle my affairs. The same rude lady comes to the window and I tell her the vehicle I am here to see about. She goes, First, I need your drivers license and the registration, proof of insurance or title. I handed over my DL and proof of insurance. I ask her about seeing the car. Again, rudely, First you have to sign this form to enter our lot. You can wait in your car and someone will call you. Its not what you say to customers but how you say things. I dont have to do business here on a regular basis. This was my first time and hopefully the last time doing business with this establishment. Your customer service representatives represent your company. They are the face, voice and attitude for Troys Towing. I hope no one else has to experience the rude and unprofessional behavior that I have. The only good thing that I have to say is that the man that took me to the yard was very pleasant and assisted me across the ice covered pavement into my vehicle on their lot.

They get alot of their business from the police and they take advantage of that to the extreme. Knowing you need your vehicle, they charge insanely high fees and costs. My friend had his vehicle towed there after the police had it towed for expired registration and so he had to get it towed out. I live less than 3 miles away - they charged $100 just to tow it here. $100 for 3 miles? Just another way they take advantage of people, especially harsh during this drawn out economic crises. They dont care about their customers, forced or otherwise, and money is king. If youve had your vehicle towed their for whatever reason, I feel for you and I advise that if you have to get yours towed out, as well, youre better off getting another tow truck to pick it up.

I had called around to other towing companies getting pricing to get my car towed. This one had the best price and service. The phone service was great and my driver was in truck 3 his name was Basil and he was very professional and very nice. I wish I had money to tip! I would recommend and use this company again!

Had to get a car towed after an unexpected mechanical malfunction. Super professional, gave me an eta and kept to it, showed up in a friendly mood and treated me well. No complaints on this end, called because it was the closest next time if I call it’s because they are the best. Work with Dwayne if you can!

Inappropriate business practices. After the fee to get your car out, if its broken down, it doesnt matter if you have your own car trailer to tow with, etc - they demand you pay either them or another tow truck company ADDITIONAL money to move your car for you. We are more than capable of retrieving ourselves - this is disgusting gouging in an area they know the residents cannot afford it. The woman I spoke with on the phone confirmed it is in no way law and is business policy so they are treating their neighbors like this by choice.Update: They also stole my catalytic converter while it was on their lot.

My vehicle was towed by Troys Towing. When I went to pick it up I was greeted by a nice older lady at the window. She was very polite and assisted me with getting my vehicle back. My vehicle was not damaged and the gentleman who brought it to me was very polite, something you don’t generally see in the towing business. Thank you Troys Towing for your great service.

Called AAA after getting flat tire on highway. Troys showed up in 30 mins and the driver handed me a bottle of water and asked if everything was alright. Literally better service then I get in a restaurant. Really impressed!

Troy’s towing is a very dependable towing company. I have used them on several occasions for towing various cars to an auto accident. We also use them as a vendor for our company. They provide a great service for cars that are left abandon. They are definitely my go to company for towing and lock outs.

At least they were nicer than the dpd impound lot next door. They were kind enough to let me look at my stolen vehicle and retrieve things. I wasnt allowed to start the engine. I wanted to assess the noise it would make for any screeches. They DO practice corona virus measures here. They have a partial mirror coating on the bullet resistant plexiglass that makes it almost impossible to see whos in there talking to you. I could make out silhouettes thats it. That feels cold & impersonal just strip the mirror coating out. Of course keep the bullet barrier up. Its really hard to get a competing tow company to pick up the vehicle. They require workmans comp & $1million liability insurance & the vehicles owner has to be there no matter how inconveniee it is. I feel like a cattle in a slaughterhouse being led down a path to slaughter choice wise. They put up so many barriers to competition until you choose them & now theyve got you. $500 to tow a 5200lb suv 25 miles that are mostly freeway. Its ludicrous. My insurance will reimburse me but in the end I might see increase rates because of it.

Towed my vehicle to their yard instead of my house then wouldnt release my vehicle without me paying storage fees and towing which was 415 dollars for 10 hrs of car being there. Then atm only lets u take out 100 maximum so they get you there too by all the atm charges. Wouldnt recommend place is a big scam

My Jeep Wrangler was towed here after an accident in April. Had it towed to dealer in the next day or from their yard for repair. We found out when we finally got it back that the spare tire was missing. Have pics of the Jeep on the wrecker with the spare on it. Dealer said it showed up with no spare. Troy’s has not accepted any responsibility. Will be filing a report with the Michigan State Police. Disgusted with the whole situation.

Hands down the best tow experience ever. After 2 service calls from my insurance company roadside with no help from them and a 4 hour wait for those two roadside assistance. A colleague of my husbands recommended Troys towing we were stranded in a low clearance underground garage with a Ford expedition extended version and no one could get the truck out of the garage. I must say Troys going was able to get the truck out of the garage with no damage to the roof of the truck and was able to pull it up the steep ramp to get it out highly recommended. I forgot to tow driver name but he was awesome and very confident and pulled through with the service call I will recommend him to anyone.

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE! They don’t ask the proper questions and then double charge for whatever you didn’t tell them. They take no accountability for not having asking for the information ahead of time. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THEM even in an emergency situation. I ended up canceling the tow and calling Executive Tow who was $140 cheaper! They had no issues/concerns with the issues that Troy tried to double charge us for. DONT DO IT!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

This is my go-to towing business and I refer anyone I know to them. Always timely service, knowledgeable and professional. Hell there service is better then the what I have received from AAA.One incident sticks out is when I was in an accident a few years ago during the 1st snow received that year with my 1yo child. The driver name was Cortez, due to the road conditions he still made it to Southfield in record time and his patience and concern was 1 in a million.The company even sent him with a referal bodyshop but my insurance company had already set me up with a place before he made it to me. He waited until my friend came to pick up my child and drove me and my car to a shop in Garden City.I thought this was a lot for him to do as if I was a burden but he didnt mind and he kept me calm and talked to me the whole ride (I assume he saw how frazzled I was). I felt like I was riding with a family member instead of a stranger.I wish I would have went with the referred bodyshop because the one my insurance company sent me to f*c*ed me over so bad. Anyway, I will never forget the grand service and the secured feeling I received and how the driver made me feel that day.Thank you Cortez! Thank you Troys Towing!
