10 stars! Excellent! Perfect! Extremely Clean! Quiet! Loved it!

Our stay was fabulous! Every need we had was met professionally and efficiently. Our room was immaculate and each employee we came across was friendly and helpful.Though the view from our room wasnt facing towards the ocean, the view we had was still spectacular.We had access to both The Pelican and The Terrace. The resorts were clean and well maintained at each location. We loved having different pools at each location to choose from too.The cafe located inside The Pelican was delicious and the Tiki Bar was great. They served both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.The location of The Terrace was perfect. We only had to drive a little ways to hit Destin Commons and The Gulfarium. Highly recommend staying here!

Had a great stay here! The terrace is a very short (maybe 3 minute) walk to the beach! and they have a connected shower//pool area right next to the beach. The rooms themselves were very spacious and clean! Definitely will come here again.

10/15/2020 - 10/18/2020The photos listed is exactly what you walk into.We arrived at the location after 5pm (7 hour drive) went to Pelican to check-in as advertised. Signed one paper (front & back) which was the rules of the property, received 2 armbands that you must wear while on the property (if you loose it the replacement is $25 a piece, if you cut it off before bed bring it back to the front desk the next morning and theyll replace it for free, but you must and I repeat you must have the old armbands on hand) and parking pass.The beach access is a short walk (right behind the Pelican) You can use the pools at both properties and weight rooms.The view from the master bedroom and living room was amazing, they overlooked the pool area, the beach in the distance and the man made lake with walkover access.We didnt have many questions and had zero issues with the property, but the response time from the Owner was too notch and it was a matter of minutes if not seconds. AC unit blew like a winter storm, but some days we didnt need it because of the cool nights & mornings. The TVs in the master bedroom & living room are easy to use (if you have cable at home its pretty much used the same way) We didnt use the 3rd TV. It has a nice big refrigerator, toaster (didnt use), microwave (didnt use), dishwasher (didnt use), coffee pot (didnt use).The house was very clean and well kept (when your from a family of medical professions and married to one you keep your gear ready at all times, no knock to the cleaning crew because they did a hell of a job on the cleaning and you can tell it was clean. We cleaned the house, washed the bedding and towels again before we settled in. (The owner has broom, mop & vacuum in the home) We didnt utilize the 2nd bedroom so we kept the door closed the whole time. We didnt utilize dishes because we travel with paper plates, cup & plastic utensils.The property is not far from entertainment, stores or restaurant. Dont forget to utilize the 1 daily free pass for activities through xplorie (not unit/1 person) you can do airborne adventures, fishing adventures, dolphin cruise, snorkeling & water park (some of the things are seasonal).Once again Thank-you to the Owner for opening your beautiful home up to us, we will definitely be back.

First time here. Everything was nice and organized.

Let me first say I only gave 2 stars because of our room was nice but what my family and I experience at this resort I will not be returning. From the beach to the pool downstairs we had a call place on us. The beach is really for owners only and I guess kids are not allow to play marco polo in the pool. My 8 year old was told by a older man in the pool to swim on the other side and we was stared at as if we didnt pay our money just like others.

We were on the 16th floor this weekend. Very beautiful scenery from both balconies. The place look exactly like the pictures and it sleeps a great amount of people comfortably. 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bath dining room, kitchen, laundry room all so beautiful! The kitchen was furnished with cooking utensils. I loved it! The only thing I did not like was there late checkin time and that the cleaning crew did not come and clean on time until 30 minutes before our checkin, which made me suspicious about them changing out linens and such.

Stay here! The beach is a short walk. The pools are great! The Tiki Bar is perfect! The restaurant is fabulous! The rooms are so much better than staying in a hotel. Right in the heart of everything in Destin. Walk to several restaurants and stores. Our family of 5 loved it!

Visited Pelican Beach Resort 3 weeks ago and my family had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Terrace unit 1101 and let me just say dont judge a book by its cover. The photos online doesnt give this unit any justice. We had a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo with great views. The Terrace does not sit at Beach front which was perfectly fine for us it at a walking distance or you can take shuttle that is provided from Resort. Unit seemed to be recently remodeled Kitchen was fully equipped, washer and dryer at entrance to the unit all three restrooms fully stocked with towels. Bedrooms were good size. Pool view from bedroom balcony which also over sees to the beach. As for the beach umbrellas are rented on a first come first serve basis. One is allowed to bring beach umbrella but have to set up behind the ones that are rented by the resort.We only encountered a few minor issues one of them our unit not being ready at check-in time. We arrived around 3:45p and checkin was at 4p. Our unit wasnt ready till about 4:20ish. However, there was a few people in the main lobby complaining after we had settled and headed out to the beach whom were still waiting on their rooms. Coffee was provided but no filters for coffee machine. As I mentioned unit being recently remodeled well there was boxes of tile replacements found under the beds but we just ignored it.Overall we had a great time and will more than likely stay at this resort in the future. Oh, and remember housekeeping services are not provided you will clean after yourself bring house essentials such as detergent, fabric softener, dish soap and sponge etc... we were well prepared but if you are wondering keep that in mind. So long ....

I truly enjoyed my stay at this resort. I was on the second floor of the terrace and had such a beautiful view of the pound near by with the beach view in the back ground of it. Totally worth the money. The wrist band gets a tad annoying to wear but you can replace it free if you bring back the old one. Do not lose it or they will charge $25 for it to be replaced. Truly had a great time and best view I have had in Destin in all the years I have traveled to there. Highly recommended. Not mention the condo was superb.

Nice place with beautiful views of the gulf and of the Destin harbor. Nice pool and elevator wait time is minimal.

Great condo, excellent amenities and close to everything. When I think of going to the beach I normally want to be ocean front. This property is so beautifully maintain and you can hear the ocean from the patio and pool areas it’s the only place near the ocean I’ve ever stayed in over 35 years of visiting beaches where I’m perfectly happy not being ocean front! Highly recommend it!

The condo I stayed has some minor problem. The main thing is that I didnt like how they ask each person has to check in for them to personally put the wristband on you. Its too much. And didnt feel safe when people for sure know where I stay by looking at the color of the wristband.

Excellent place to stay with a short walk to the beach and a complex that offers great amenities. We will stay here again next time we come to Destin!

Except for needing to purchase a nonstick pan (unable to satisfactorily make breakfast until we did) and a desire to change the kitchen wall colors, as well as clean/repair the main door a tiny bit...it was a great condo with room to do everything we needed.Nice pool. Well designed for all ages to enjoy. The hot tub continues to get high use. Well fenced and lit for security and safety.There was some mention of updating the entertainment a bit to support DVDs over viedo tapes. Wasnt much of an issue as we had other things to fill the time.Would recommend And return again.

We have had nothing but great experiences at this location. The set up the check in, the check out all have been easy. The amenities are really nice. The pools were clean and the hot tub was nice too. Beach was wonderful.We will be back!

We stayed at The Terrace in July of this year and had a fantastic time. We stayed in unit 505 owned by Ken and Ann and our condo was beautiful. Bright and sunshine yellow and very clean. We had a perfect view over the pool and the lake and the ocean. Very relaxing to sit in the evenings and relax. We brought our whole family, there were six of us and had lot of room.It was a great relaxing vacation!Thanks Ken and Ann!

Psycho security guard verbally assaulted me and family members because my 5 year old for not wearing a wristband by pool. Extremely hostile, disrespectful and un-professional. Following me saying “oh no you don’t, escalating the situation as I walk my scared child back to the room so that I can speak with office.

Beautiful condo and in the middle of everything you need and want!

Just went for a cpo class. Seemed pretty swanky n well kept

Perfect view however you can only catch a glimpse of the beach. You have a great view of the lake and beautiful sunsets that you dont get at any other accomodations. Theres a modest fitness center, brand new propane grills that work flawlessly, a hot tub and heated pool. Its a very short walk to the beach. You do however have to go to the pelican beach resorts to speak to any concierge.

Our condo was wonderful, our upstairs neighbors, not so much. The beach was a couple hundred yards away via a well maintained wooden walkway. The sand was almost fluffy and thoroughly enjoyable.

We loved this place everyone was so nice to my family and wanting to help out in anyway and thats what matters to me

Will not recommend it. Really bad stains on carpet and they were working on the top floor when we were staying for the weekend o lot of banging all day! I called the office they said they couldn’t do anything and that they have the right to work on their apartment from 8 to 5pm. This is my last year coming to this facilities! Very disappointed!

We stayed in 1601 at The Terrace, the place was absolutely beautiful and perfect location but we will never stay here again due to the new private beach rules. Unless you rent and reserve a chair/ umbrella ahead of time you are unable to sit anywhere close to the beach or view of the ocean. If you have your own chairs you have to sit all the way in the back of the beach like a peasant. They allow 1 person if a child is with them to bring 1 chair and nothing else by the water only if the child is playing in the water. These new rules defeat the purpose of paying so much to be at a resort with a private beach. The resort beach chairs should be included in the room price for this to make any sense. Just another way for them to make money.

VERY CLEAN AND IS EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURES. THE OWNER GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW IN AN EMAIL. I WENT DURING SPRING BREAK SO SOME OF THE RULES CHANGED DUE TO A LOT OF PPL STAYING IN THE AREA. I WILL LOVE TO STAY HERE AGAIN!

Great staff, they are always very helpful! Great location! There is plenty of parking and extra space for recreational vehicles/toys/trailers.

Rooms are comfy. You will have most of what you need to cook if you wish to cook. Great beaches to walk. Only problem is all of the rental chairs hogging the front of the beach.

Pool is great. Dont see staff on this side often. Took them 2 days to come fix a door. The owner of the room we are staying in does not do things right. Broken tile throughout the rooms. Dish washer dont work. Laundry washer is loud and leaves clothes smelling like mildew. WiFi in the building is terrible, never once worked. A few other things are no bueno but not a big deal. Still had a good stay though.

This place is clearly a joke. We went 10-12 hours without running water. Then at about 3am in the morning one of the toilets were running over with water. Next the bathroom in the master bedroom that toilet took atleast 30 mins to be able to flush it. And lastly the shower in the master bathroom only pushed out hot water. This was by far the worst vacation I’ve ever been apart of.

Good family place. Rooms are kind of dated and the beds are small, But I would definitely go back.

I rarely if ever post negative reviews but given the circumstances of this, the disaster area we were trying to help clean up and lack of compassion and reason of this property and Expedia I had to say something. The condo was clean, well kept and what we expected. EXCEPT WE NEEDED A BED TO SLEEP ON!! The staff and management were the problem. The staff and management exhibited poor hospitality and bad decision making about guest and their needs and how to make things right.We were evacuated from hurricane Michael and were working 12 hour shifts in Mexico beach to help our families clean up. We paid in advance for a room with 3 real beds. Checked in and we had two beds. Explained to property we were 3 adults and prepaid for 3 real beds. They said sorry but not their problem. Said to contact Expedia. Neither Expedia or terrace at pelican beach would offer any remedy. We spent almost $1000 here and just slept for a few hours each day and took showers to return to disaster. Dont patronize this property - hotel told us Expedia had to remedy - Expedia says property has to remedy. Lovely condos....easy accessable

When we arrived and walked right condo we found a pot in the floor and a gapeing hole in the ceiling. The rug stained. Baseboard just discussing and the toilets full of a mildew. We called to complain and all they did was return one night stay. The toilet broke and they still haven’t fixed the toilet and I have called three times. Then none of the tv’s work correctly and the master bedroom’s doesn’t work at all. The screens are shredded to pieces. And on top of all of that they had roofers working whwre they can see straight in to our unit all day!!! We had no privacy and it was an all girls trip. It was a waste of money. Very very disappointed if this rental. We are in unit 1601!!! Don’t rent here!!!

Great for family vacations with younger children. We always feel at home!

You spend a lot of money for a condo on the beach, and they put up 4 solid rows of umbrellas and chairs where you cant see the bay AND you are not allowed to put your chairs on the beach. Even if you pay the ridiculous amout for the umbrella and chairs, unless youre in the front row, you cant see the beach or water. After going 20 years, we wont be back.

We visited here Easter Weekend 2016. It was great beautiful, peaceful, polite guess services, clean rooms. We will visit and stay here again.
