My experience with Stride Staffing has been very good.Mrs Mirna and Mrs Laura were very helpful.As a felon its not always easy to find a good job.Mrs Mirna went to work rite away seeing which jobs would take someone with a background and sure enough 2 days later I get a machine operator job. TL;DR: Sent me to a job that was full time instead of part time. Blamed me for it when I literally didnt even have anyone tell me my schedule.I went in and everything was fine, I told them I was looking for a part time job that was night shift. Something that was active. I was sent to a full time job, that was not active, and when I asked to be swapped I was told my pay from the previous night ($11 an hour) would be dropped to ($7 an hour) and that they would no longer work with me. Also, I was told during the walk through that there were active positions (I specifically asked about it because I wanted an active job) and he said I could cross train to it. I get there, everyone I talk to say there is literally not an active job there. The most activity you get is walking 5-10 feet once every 1-2 hours if that. The most activity I got was going to my break.Excuse me for not wanting a full time job, which I mentioned on literally every form of paperwork they offered me. I did tell them full time if it was 12 hour shifts, this was not a 12 hour shift. They did find me a job quickly, but it was only because they sent me to the wrong job. Also I was led to believe at every step that if I wanted to swap to another job that I could, and was only just now informed very bluntly that it was considered me quitting the staffing agency.I technically did quit, but it was because the attitude of the staffer was rude and I dont need the job. If she had explained to me calmly that I should finish my 2 weeks I absolutely would have. I dont speak to people that way, and I dont expect for people to speak to me that way.The job itself was alright, but the person who was my boss didnt show up to greet me, I was nearly late clocking in because they just never showed up and I was told to wait in the break room. I was told that there was a chance of me being hired, but I was never told that I wasnt part time. Even when I asked about my schedule I was basically just told that hours are normally 9p-5a and that I might work the weekend. When would I know this? Apparently right before the weekend, because I didnt get a printed nor verbal clarification of my schedule.I was just trying to not waste the companys time training me, since I would not be able to keep that job with it being 5 days a week. I would highly suggest just looking for jobs on your own, this was my first experience with a staffing agency and it was unbelievably unprofessional. Never again.

I rated this place one star for a few reasons. Prior to me going in, I called and asked if they work with people that have backgrounds; they told me that they do. Upon arriving I was asked to fill out a series of papers or a packet rather containing about 12 or more papers front and back. I was honest about my background although I advise that you do not be! You are better off just checking no when it comes to background/conviction history. My conviction is from 2009; following me filling out the required documents I met with a recruiter who was not too friendly. She scanned over my documents and when she got to the part about background information she immediately told me that there were no positions or openings that would be willing to hire me due to the charge that I was convicted of. I feel that agencies and companies should run background checks instead of going off of what they think will be the outcome. Some businesses only go back 2, 5, 7 or 10 years. I should of just said no I have never been convicted of a crime but I wanted to be honest. Other people there were offered warehouse positions which I have worked a few warehouse jobs and were hired directly by the company itself, without going through a temp agency. Don’t waste your time being honest about your background because they won’t move forward, the process is immediately terminated upon that being discovered. You are better off saying no to any convictions, letting them go through the process to pay for the background check and find out whatever comes up on their own instead of wasting your time filling out paperwork which takes 30 minutes minimum! Some companies only check for convictions within the last year, two years, five, seven or ten!

This place is so much more than a temp agency. These people arent here to fill a quota, they actually listen and they actually care. I went to then because I noticed that when I searched temp agency they were the only ones with a near perfect review and I thought, well, they must be doing something right. But once i got there i realized they do EVERYTHING right. These people are nice and kind from the bottom of their heart. And when you go, yes there can be a little bit of a wait time but, stick it out. Its 5 people doing EVERYTHING at once. So if you have patience, its definitely worth the wait and you WILL get that near perfect 5 star experience.
