My evaluator, regina, was the most impersonal, unfriendly person Ive ever talked to who is a part of one of these organizations. From the get go I felt like she just couldnt wait to be done with the meeting. Not sure she cracked one smile the entire hour or so we talked. Definitely made me feel like Im just a check to them. Ive been around these kinds of people my whole life thanks to my circumstances growing up and couldnt have been more let down. I wasnt told this before my evaluation (big surprise) but you DO NOT have to PAY these people for a drug evaluation. Please look into zion or something in your area before you just sign up through urban dreams. They will do it for free or at least adjust it based on your income. Not just getting a check like they are here at urban dreams. Hope this is helpful to all you others that are struggling right now!

Awesome and great organisation which gives resources to the youths as well as all the needy people around. I was very reluctant in the beginning about attending the class. I was nervous and frankly a little scared. What had I gotten myself into? I had already felt ashamed of why I was going. And would I be with hardened criminals and be frightened the entire 48 hours? To my surprise I was greeted with a smile, a hello and a welcome. Then the class started... The security/probation/parole office told us how it was going to be. There again, I was frightened. Next Regina and Tessie introduced themselves and at that moment all of the fear, the reluctance and the nervousness was gone. Regina was wonderful. She is a very caring but strong person. She has so much insight and she gets it. Listen to what she has to say and let it soak in. Tessie is equally strong. The family tragedies she has endured and is still dealing with are unimaginable . It amazes me how she wasnt sitting next to me instead of standing in front of me. Both women did an amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone. There is no judgment. Take the class and you assured dignity and respect. I thank them both for a fun yet informational class. Everyone makes mistakes. One last comment: Take plenty of water/pop to get you through.

AS WHAT I COULD SEE VERY GOOD PLACE AND GOOD PROGRAMS HELPING PEOPLE IN NEED AND THERE IS A GIRL RACHEL THAT WORKS THERE I LOVE VERY MUCH .GOOD ORGANIZATION GOOD PEOPLE

Great resource for those in need. Izaah helped our fitness facility get started and I am forever grateful. Also, I have referred people to Regina for substance abuse evaluations. Regina’s recommendations were spot on and I’m happy to say after following her advice these people are living good lives, free of drugs and alcohol. Keep up the great work UD!

I wish I could rate this place negative stars. Least friendly and least helpful place Ive ever had to deal with. Ive had a couple of clients go here and Ive NEVER heard anything good as a result. Regina is the coldest, uncaring individual Ive ever run across. If youre not completely cracked out, they treat you like garbage. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!

Most of the staff was very courteous and friendly. Regina was nice enough to get me in on extremely short notice because the evaluation I had scheduled at another location had been cancelled due to the weather.They offered me coffee and were on time but the evaluation was very impersonal. It seemed like Regina was more interested in getting it over with than actually understanding my situation and getting a good idea of why I was there to begin with. I left feeling more like a Payday for them than a human being.They also told me that I was going to have my license suspended when both my lawyer and the judge told me that they no longer did that for marijuana possession charges.The Broadlawns class that I took was a very worthwhile venture and I learned a lot.If they had better bedside manner and made sure that the facts that are given are accurate I would have had no problem giving them 5 stars. I hope that this review will help them improve on these things in the future.
