I tried to donate over 25 winter coats and socks,however theres so much construction I was unable to park anywhere and was not able to get anyone from the shelter to help me carry the things in. I was told by the person who answered the phone I dont know what to tell you lady.... You may be a top notch shelter but you certainly have made me go another route with my future donations.

I used too stay here and it was the best thing that happened too me Ill always remember the staff theyll always have a place in my heart i will recommend this place too any youth so they can have the loving care i had here

Being a homeless shelter and resource center, the atmosphere is always changing. The diversity in this center and the policy of a safe space make it a real helpful place when someone is in need to help or guidance or just a safe place to do laundry.

An important resource for youth in downtown Des Moines. Hope that it remains open in the future.
