Had to go to Work Force to get employment verification and I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient they were! A very nice young lady greeted me at the door and had me taken care of in a matter of minutes! Went around 2 in the afternoon and it wasnt busy at all. Very good service and fast!

Wont leave you alone. They are rude and very mean. They refuse to help. Violates yourpersonal space .

They are thieves. You work you pay taxes and when you absolutely need it they steal your money and tell you they can’t help you.

I worked for the State of Iowa for 5 years. These are State employees not City. Due to Federal Budget Cuts yearly, and depending which departments it hits the hardest the State of Iowa is understaffed. People take on the work loads of 2 and 3 people and step into roles; which they must transition into quickly to serve the people of Iowa. I loved working for the State of Iowa and serving the people of Iowa in the capacity in which I served. The pay is not over the top it is modest for the responsibilities one is charged with. Those earning higher pay have worked their for years and have more than proven themselves. There are proper protocols and procedures which must be followed. Because positions can be understaffed we understand peoples frustrations. I can guarantee you that most put forth their best efforts to do a job well done and work earnestly, putting in overtime or working late and or on Saturdays to stay on top of their work flow. There is typically no catching up on work at the State of Iowa simply because the services are far reaching and address many resources we as Iowans rely upon. These are hard working middle class, modest people - role up their sleeves type of people and I applaud all of them.

Really truthfully and all honesty I hate that place, you can go there seven days a week and those so called city employees will never really aid you in finding decent employment. If you dont do your own leg work while your there you will never get any place. You need to really become resourceful, otherwise your heading to a dead end.

My experience here has been wonerwond Everytime. Austin, breanda tattoo, and Sue Ayers are always so helpful. I feel reassured that I will find a solution to my problems. Brenda is always very helpful and has a no b.s attitude and that is so encouraging. Thanks for all of your help guys!!!!!
