0/5 stars. Reasons: Lack of communications, Unprofessional, and failure to deliver repairs on time.Update: 4/7/21 still no response or update. Not surprising.For starters, I set up a drop off time at his parents house for 4pm on 8/10/20 and drove almost 30 mins for him to not be there and did not call me or answer my calls. Set up a follow up time and he apologized because he had a job he forgot about...Gave Drone to Josh on 8/12/20 and was given an expected repair timeframe of 1 month, ready by 9/5/20. Unexpected issue with repair pushed that to 9/27. Last communication from JG was on 10/16 to all of his customers stating that he was sorry for lack of communication and for delays of repairs and that they would implement a customer communication policy and that all IN-PROGRESS REPAIRS would be done in 2 WEEKS.Needless to say its now 12/13 and I am not expecting to get my drone back any time soon, and have written it a loss and moved on.Looking at his website, it appears he is no longer in the business of repairing drones. Probably for the best since he couldnt seem to get to do it in a timely fashion.Id avoid of doing any business with him, even with aerial photography because if his communication with repairs have taught me is that hes too busy to handle customer service or follow up to customer project inquires.And if he does reply to this, Id love to hear the reasoning for 0 communications for 3 months... Seems to me hes over his head.

Called for assistance with diagnostics and calibrating. Josh (owner) was so polite and professional. Was able to drop off the same day I called and the turn around was 24 hours. I’d recommend anyone to go there! If I need to have my drone fixed again, this business will be my first call.

Josh was responsive and walked me through my options with my broken drone. Ended up not getting it fixed, but would have been very comfortable having him do it.

I’d leave less than one star if I could. Theft is a serious matter, JGUAV is not a business but a kid in a basement. If you value your property, seek a professional repair company.-Another 2 weeks go by without a word about my property. Unbelievable.

Josh was great. He diagnosed my crashed Phantom 4 in about 10 minutes and gave me really honest feedback that it was probably better for me just to salvage it for parts on Ebay and buy a new one than pay to have it fixed. His honestly through the whole process was awesome and his answer was exactly what I needed to know to move forward.

Overall great experience! It was originally going to take weeks to get my phantom 4 drone fixed, but Josh was able to do it in about a week and a half! Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Josh is very helpful and amazing to work with. I contacted him before I bought my drone with questions and concerns and he was very helpful answering all questions.After buying my Phantom 3 Pro I took it to him for service and tips on flying. I am very satisfied with his work and recommend his preventive maintenance once a year on your drone.

A most excellent company/ person to deal with. Josh repaired the Yuneec typhoon H and it looks as if nothing ever happened. Kinda pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for.Definitely recommend for all your UAS/V repair service requirements.An A1+++ recommendation for sure.

Timely service, saved me from having to go out and buying a new drone.

Josh was knowledgable and very service oriented. He fixed my Phantom 3 problem quickly at a very fair price. I hope I dont need too much service, but when I do, I wont hesitate to go to him and would recommend him to others without reservation.

JG.UAVS were very helpful and pleasant to do business with on my Phantom Advanced 3. Josh was extremely helpful with providing feedback while I was trying to troubleshoot many of the issues myself. I finally reached a point of replacing the ESC and he quickly accepted the challenge. He was professional and very quick to let me know what he found out. He had it up and running within a few days of the parts arriving. Definitely recommend JG.UAVS, especially because they are local (in Des Moines). Thank you, Josh!!
