My girlfriend and I stopped by to tour the community. Brianna did a great job showing us around. We loved it so much we ended up signing a lease. Beautiful complex, great location, and awesome staff.

I am so grateful to live here. Management is super friendly and easy to work with, the staff respond to any work orders both punctually and professionally, the online portal is easy to navigate and makes paying rent simple, and the units themselves are amazing. Both for the location and the facilities/employees, I would 100% recommend Verve to anyone.

Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Between the amenities (the pool is amazing) and such a fantastic location, this is a great place to live! I was happily surprised with how low the noise was so being so close to the town. Being able to enjoy the benefits of the east village and downtown Des Moines without the foot traffic and noise is a huge plus.

Ive enjoyed my time at Verve. SUPER clean building, great location, and friendly staff. Theyve gone out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and have even been understanding when I bungled some move-in paperwork. This is an excellent living option in central Des Moines.

They have been so helpful during this stressful move!!! They have answered all of my questions and have been so very attentive!!! Definitely recommend this building. Tabitha and Brianna are the best!

Verve, please do post your extensive checklist that outlines what free labor you expect from your tenants in exchange for their deposit. Why should someone who derives zero benefit from leaving an apartment that isnt theirs spotless have to spend so much of their own time and resources doing so? Security deposits have become a means of exploiting tenants, and thats not OK.I’ve lived at Verve for two years in two different apartments and it occurred to me that I wasn’t just paying to occupy a space in their building (which is in a nice location with nice amenities). I was also paying to have my apartment cleaned to entirely remove traces of my presence from it so that it could be rented to the next tenant.What if you checked into a hotel room and they asked for your credit card to keep on file not just in case of damage or extra charges, but also in case you didn’t clean the room meticulously before you left. Missed a spot? $50. Missed two spots? $75. Three spots for the price of four! You might be tempted to go out and get all the cleaning supplies you could wrangle and spend a few hours of your time on it - labor they would otherwise pay an employee to do.I got all the cleaning supplies and spent a day cleaning my first apartment after I moved out in the hopes of getting most or all of my $500 deposit back. I missed a couple spots and lost $160. They sort of just hold your deposit for ransom so you clean their apartment for them (to sell to someone else) after having paid them to live in it.

Perfect location because it is so close to tons of restaurants, bars, and attractions. The apartment and amenities in the building are fantastic and always clean. The staff and maintenance team are always very helpful and quick. Great place to live. Definitely recommend.

Very professional community. Close to Downtown attractions and restaurants. Waking distance to everything in East Village. Decor including light fixtures, cabinets, ascent walls, are upscale & hip looking, amenities are awesome, and apartments are well constructed. Very quiet place and the views are beautiful.

Love it here!! It is a beautiful property and our apartment is great and huge! They allow large dogs which can be very difficult to find in the downtown area. It has easy access to everything. Its very clean and management is easy to work with!

I live at the Verve in the East Village of Des Moines. Its a great place to live. Our unit is an open concept with lots of windows, we love the layout. Management is great if you ever have a problem, they even host social dinners on Wednesdays in the building. They also allow pets. If youre thinking of living downtown, consider the Verve.

I love living at the Verve, it is a very nice building with great amenities. I love the location, close to downtown but not too close to the hustle and bustle. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

I’ve lived at the Verve since July and absolutely love it! My favorite parts are the location, the community rooms, and the high end decor. It is such a comfortable place to call home, yet is walking distance from everything fun in the east village and downtown!

Verve has been an awesome place to live. We love that its very dog friendly with quite a bit of green space and is located right next to the river with miles and miles of walking trails! Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Great amenities!

Ive really enjoyed living at Verve! The amenities are very nice and I love how close I am to so many things to do. The staff is friendly and matenance request are dealt with promptly.

The Verve apartments are a great place to live. The apartments themselves are sleek, modern, and have a great view of downtown. They provide a fitness room, social events once a week, a game room, and a TV room. The indoor parking is a plus. The walls are thick, which makes it a quiet place to live.

Absolutely amazing apartment community. Community rooms on every floor, from a 5th floor study room, 4th floor clubhouse with a patio with GORGEOUS views, game room that has shuffleboard, billiards and SKEEBALL, and an on site gym. Theres nothing to dislike and everything to love here.Great location and amazing staff. Highly recommend.

Would recommend the Verve, property management does a great job with interacting with tenants, the apartments are spacious with great finishes, and the apartment will share the pool amenity when construction is done on Velocity across the street.

I have not lived at the Verve so plz be aware this review is a result of having toured the property. Im used to much bigger cities than DSM and I was impressed. They spared no expense on fixtures, details, lighting etc. There are apartments with balconies and amazing views and an outdoor hot tub if thats your thing. I also toured the Flux. Both are luxury properties but for this big city girl the Verve won hands down!
