Tendercare added on to our covered patio with pavers and built an arched stone wall with a stone seat cap on top. It turned out beautiful and it has enhanced our back patio tremendously. Kevin was very good about showing us what it would look like when finished by drawings and photos of similar projects. They set a schedule and completed the project within the time frame they stated. We chose Tendercare because they had done previous work for us (outdoor kitchen in photo below) and we knew that this new project would be high quality and done right. The final product validated our faith in them as we love the extended area.Tendercare also planted a Red Point Maple tree in our back yard in honor of my mother and father-in-law passing away within a few months of each other during the late summer/early fall. We call it the Grand Parents tree and are very pleased with it and look forward to it providing shade and beauty for many years.I highly recommend Tendercare for projects like this as they take great pride in doing a quality job.

I recently purchased a new home in Derby and was in need of starting a new lawn. I opted to use Tendercares hydroseed process for starting a new lawn and it was fantastic. Grass grew faster and thicker than I could of imagined and am getting a lot of compliments from the neighbors. Will not hesitate to use Tendercare in the future for any other projects.

I have used Tendercare for multiple years now and recently had Austin and Chad visit to do some fall maintenance. They did a fantastic job, extremely polite and helpful with any question I had. I originally asked for seeding along with aerating but after they looked at my yard, they suggested to save the money and just do the aerating. They could have just did the work but they choose to educate myself on some helpful practices. Its rare anymore to find this kind of customer service. Thank you Austin and Chad!

We would love to be able to rank this company higher than we did - repairs had to be made on what they did in two places in our sprinkler system. The total cost of the work we were billed for was two times the estimate. Wont use them again.

We used Tendercares lawn maintenance program for two years and had our lawn overseeded the first fall with top soil used in bare/problem areas. We definitely were happy with the lawn program and still had minor dead patches after the fall overseeding. I felt this was mainly due to not using netting on the sloped areas of the lawn (a lot of seed ran-off into the low parts of the yard which was apparent by having grass growing in low spots I marked for them not to seed). Overall, I would recommend this company. They were quick to respond to questions and our lawn looked much better after using their services.

I called TLC, on a Tuesday, they came out on a Wednesday the very next day. All of my issues were fixed and Im going to continue to use small business around the Mulvane/Derby area. Your guys are great and I appreciate the promptservice.

I wrote this company directly with my concern/complaint, but it was not addressed, so now I guess I have to make it public.About two weeks ago, my neighbor hired them for his lawn. I arrived home to find that they had parked a truck and trailer, partially blocking my driveway.There were literally 3 other areas on the street just as close to the work area they could have parked and not blocked anyone.I find this act to be very unprofessional and extremely disrespectful.If you hire them, know that they will not have consideration or respect for your neighbors space, which I feel is a direct reflection of the company itself.I just wanted aknowledgement of their mistake and an apology, but they couldnt find the time. Yet another reflection of their overall ethic.Theyve lost a potential future customer and there are so many others in Wichita who can do the same job just as well, if not better.

I normally try to use local companies whenever possible. After a no call/no show for an appointment they set up for an estimate I will now be using a company out of Wichita.Update 4/2019 I recently gave Tendercare another try. I can say their sprinkler division did a good job and in a timely fashion. I will be contacting them about their lawn services (fertilization and weed control) and will provide an update after.Update 4/2020 So far I am pleased with their fertilization and weed control. Should be doing core aeration shortly (Bermuda grass). Upfront honest pricing.

The wide variety of services TenderCare offers along with a commitment of customer satisfaction puts them heads above any other company. You wont go wrong with them no matter how big or small the job.

We experienced poor customer service throughout our job but the owner has extended himself to hear our concerns and make things right. We experienced poor communication and disappointing results from the initial project but the owner went above and beyond to address our concerns, even returning years later to finish a grading issue that was postponed due to concrete work needed. I will note that a large part of the project dealt with grading so we wouldn’t have water draining into our basement and that has been 100% successful.

They apparently advertise that they di French drains and will work in Wichita but wont go to Douglass which is the same distance away. And the receptionist said Douglass like it left a bad taste in her mouth. Guess my money doesnt spend the same.

If I could give them a negative score I would. Terrible customer service and overall service. Bad experience from installation where lawn coverage was not good, then yearly maintenance (start up and winterization) requires multiple trips to get work done. It is obvious they dont take their time to check their work and make sure it is working properly. We have had to have them come out multiple times to complete any and all work. Quality of work is very poor. Steer clear.
