Matt Holmes was great to work with. It was very busy on a Wednesday night and he was bouncing around to several different customers. We were very specific on what we wanted and didnt want in a vehicle. Matt took that to heart and was very excited to show us what he found. The vehicle was traded in with some damage and he let us know that the damage was already in the works to be fixed. He was not pushy at all and explained how the process worked with the sale. We had some bad experiences elsewhere, so it was nice to have someone talk to us instead of at us. It came down to money and how much payments would be. He worked with Gary Shockey and was able to get us to where we were more comfortable with payment wise. We ended up coming back the next day to purchase our vehicle. The process for both nights took longer than expected due to the busy nature of the place and short staff. We are very happy with the purchase and look forward to coming back to trade in the next one at some point.

I got into contact with Chris, about equinoxes and didnt really know anything about them but I just know I liked them. He explained everything to me how they are super safe and reliable and would work great for our situation. Then we planned a trip to come and check them out and we looked at several till we landed on the perfect one. It was a 2018 black Chevy Equinox with black cloth and all the options we needed. I just cant believe how satisfied I am with the staff there; they were so easy and straightforward with everything with no games or tricks. It was so worth the 1,370 miles to Don Hattan Derby and the 23 hours in the car. We traded in our 2017 Chevy Cruze and got top dollar for it so it was a win win for us. We test drove a 2015 Mazda 3 i Touring and absolutely were sold on it. EDIT: I wish there was a NO star option! Everything I said below was how I felt when I drove off the lot with my new car.. But when my bank released my loan amount I couldn’t believe it! My loan was over $22,000 for a $15,500 car! The finance guy (Fernando) made it sound like everything was included in my GAP policy, when in fact he had added on another $4,000 for coverages I didn’t even ask for! I guess I can thank Don Hattan for the learning experience on what I should look for next time I deal with a dealership..! Needless to say, my husband and I will NOT be returning in the future!Skyler is amazing!! I avoid dealerships like the plague, so going in I was expecting the worst! Skyler was the complete opposite of any car salesmen I’ve ever dealt with before! He was honest and I never felt like he was trying to take me for every penny I’m worth! Called service ahead of time to advise I would be dropping my vehicle off due to the check engine light being on and stated what I thought the problem ( fuel sending unit) was, but i still wanted it professional diagnosis of the issue. I was advised of and agreed to diagnostic fees. They called me and told me they cant fix it due to having an aftermarket led light bar aka extra wires under my dashboard that had absolutely nothing to due with check engine code or my fuel gauge not working. Definitely worst experience ever at a repair shop my business will go elsewhere.

We were needing work done on my car, unsure if the warranty or extended warranty would cover the needed repairs. Not only did we contact the warranty company,, but Don Hattan Service manager did too. The sales man Mike did an outstanding job and provided a great deal of patience with my car buying experience. I’m a little late posting this but in April I purchased a new vehicle. Purchasing a vehicle is a “big purchase/deal” and I am very slow in making correct decisions. He provided guidance, was never pushy and very understanding that I had to think of every step along the way. This is my first purchase from the Derby location but third interaction with Don Hattan Dealers. I helped my sister and a good friend purchase vehicles from the Augusta Don Hattan location. Each time the staff was great. My only “issue” was the back end sale each time. If a customer says “no” three times to an extended warranty, it doesn’t matter which way you sell it or the story you provide, no means no. Other than that, very professional!

Fell in love with my 2017 Pilot before it even hit the lot. We worked with Matt and he was AMAZING! Great customer service, wonderful personality, and was continuously keeping us informed through the whole process.

My wife and I were put in a tough situation when we lost both of our vehicles in one weekend. “One was stolen and one was totaled” all at the same time by the same person. Long story short we bought my wife a jeep from Don Hattan Derby and our sales person Mr.Brad did everything in his power to get us the deal we wanted and overall all employees at Don Hattan made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I hate dealerships because of their different price gimmicks but I would and will buy from Don Hattan Derby again.
