The guide Jeff was very informative. It wasnt just a ghost tour, we learned a lot of history of the town. We would do the tour again.

Took part in this in Feb 2020. Owner was amazing and flexible, as we had to move our tour due to a snowstorm. Very engaging walking tour taking you inside (and beneath) some of Denvers most historic venues.Ive lived in Denver my whole life, but his insight into the Denver and LoDo area taught me a history which I had never learned before. This is simply the best haunted tour I have ever done. The storytelling by Brook keeps it interesting while giving a historical account of Denver. Brook is respectful to all, including the spirits you may encounter. He keeps the group safe while still giving you the spooks you are looking for. While you are outside for some of the time, it is only to get you from building to building. The majority of the time is spent indoors. Take this tour, you wont be disappointed.

A great ghost tour! I liked Brook our guide he kept you interested. I got a little freaked out a few parts of the tour but it made the experience even more fun. I liked how he had his tablet showing photos of his stories he told. Great experience I would go to this while you are in Denver!

What an awesome and fun way to tour Denver! Brook brought great energy to his story telling and hooked us from the get go! He kept us on our toes with his anecdotes on paranormal activity that happened during his past tours while weaving the rich history and ghostly origin stories together. One of the best haunted tours I’ve tried! Brook gave a wonderful background in a suspenseful, dark, haunted story form leading up to every ghost story. All of the locations on the tour were wonderful. He did a phenomenal job doing the background research on the locations, events, politics, and culture to impact each individual ghost’s story. I highly recommend and would absolutely do this again if I return to Denver.

Me, my fiance, my 14 year old daughter, and her 16 year old cousin took this tour this past Thursday 8/1/2019 We stayed at The Stanley, and did 2 other ghost tours and both of the girls said this was the best tour! Brook was the best guide we have had ever had! he knows his history and was a great story teller that kept us entertained the whole time. 2 hours felt like 15 min because we were having so much fun! My girls did experience paranormal activity with their phones, and I felt it physically. I highly recommend this tour as long as you get Brook!

This Denver ghost tour is my favorite Denver experience to date. Brook is a true storyteller who genuinely cares about the guests on his tour and also the spirits whose stories he shares. He mixes the perfect amount of humor, spookiness, and Denver history to keep everyone intrigued. As a lifetime believer in the paranormal, I was excited about the creepier aspects of the tour, and feeling something pull my hair in the basement of Union Station was the highlight of the night. This was one of my favorite ghost tours EVER!! Brooke was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and his stories were captivating. He unearthed an entire side of Denver I never knew existed!!I have been on sooooo many ghost tours (New Orleans, New York, Salem, London, Hollywood, Little Rock, etc) and this is by far the most bang for your buck!! You get to venture into actual buildings and basements, instead of just hearing stories from the street!! I cannot recommend this tour enough!!Do yourself a favor and book! This was my first ghost tour experience and I have to say, it was haunting! Really though, Brooks was an amazing storyteller and not only did I learn a ton about Denvers history, I also learned that some of my favorite hangouts are also haunted. Brooks really does his research and befriends employees at all of the establishments he takes his clients to, so you get access to some really interesting places like the basements of Union Station and Wynkoop Brewing Co. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves history and/or a good scare!

We had such a great time on this trip! I emailed Brook in order to ask if we could join the Friday tour rather than go on Saturday (which we had orginally booked). Brook called me and graciously accepted our request. We had a blast! Brook is a great storyteller and kept us entertained throughout. Definitely recommend you do this if youre in Denver!

One of my favorite ghost tours. Brook was great. He does such a good job sharing the history with you and making it such a good experience. It was a fun way to see that part of Denver. If you are looking for any ghost tour in Denver I would highly recommend Dark Side of Denver. I have toured at infamous haunted buildings such as the Stanley Hotel, and this tour blew that one out of the water. The tour guild was an amazing story teller, and set the creepy tone, all the while making the guests comfortable. If you’re a believer or not I definitely think you’ll have a good time.

We have done this tour twice now. Having attended multiple tours in multie cities (including the Seattle underground), I can tell you this tour is top notch. No flashy or horrifying stories of the dead, but a historic accounting of some of Denvers more nefarious characters and history. A great 2 hour walking tour. Highly encourage you to attend!

This was my first experience doing a ghost tour and, I gotta say... These guys really set the bar and totally exceeded my expectations. Brook is a very well-spoken, well-versed story teller and entertainer, bringing the dead to life with (literal) tales from the crypt. Anyone can fabricate a spooky story about the paranormal but not only did Brook share compelling anecdotes of creepy encounters and ghost sightings, he ALSO backed them up with some very convincing and definitely enlightening history about how Denver was founded. If that doesnt freak you out about the tour... stay until the very end... SUCH a trip!

Was canceled on less than four hours before the tour was scheduled to start... Also, told we weren’t able to get into the tour Friday (the next day) or Saturday because he over booked it. Not sure how he can guarantee he can’t add us in tomorrow when he is so sick today and can’t do his tour? Explained that my Grandmother flew in for her for birthday and this is what she was looking forward to, still no accommodations.

My husband and I took this tour as part of “surprise date-night” and it was so much fun! Brook is passionate about the paranormal and very knowledgeable about Denver’s rich history. Although we didn’t have any personal paranormal experiences on the tour, it was very entertaining and educational (we’ve both lived in the Denver area our entire lives and still learned quite a bit). Whether you consider yourself to be a believer or a skeptic, this tour easily accommodates both and although you are not promised an encounter with these spirits due to them quite literally having a mind of their own, everyone will most definitely leave with not only the knowledge of what lies beneath our great city of Denver, but that life is neither good nor evil and that we all contain both inside of us, and what matters most is the part we choose to act upon, for life is too short to live not loving one another.

I had a great experience during the ghost tour. Id never experienced something like it. We visited fascinating and eerie places as we were educated about their spooky past. Some of the things we were shown/told were more recent and experienced by members of previous tours. THAT was pretty scary. A few members of our own guide were terrified near the end and spooked by a few things which was cool! Our tour guide was very good at what he does, he had a great way of creating a scary experience and intriguing the audience. DEFINITELY worth the time and money. Thanks Walking Dead Denver. My friend booked a tour for us as a surprise for me and I couldnt be more excited! Ive always been fascinated by the paranormal. First of all, our guide was awesome. We went to each location smoothly and he had great info and amazing stories for each place we visited. While nothing freaky happened this time around, it was still a fantastic perspective of the dark side of Denver. I had no idea what kind of things happened in the heart of Colorado; lots of shocking and unbelievable events occurred here!Overall, if you are a believer of the paranormal (or not) and you want something unique to do in Denver, this is the tour to go on! Youll learn a lot of history and get some spooky ghost stories. Totally worth it!!

If this was a Netflix show you’d binge it, then be on google trying to make sure the show was renewed for a next season, then make more plans to rewatch the show with all your friends... but, you know, probably just like one friend at a time, just so you can experience it over and again. Just do yourself a favor and go get entertained, enlightened, educated and little exercise while you’re at it.

Our trip did not goes as planned because of the weather but I am happy to this tour ended our trip on a good note! Brook was fantastic! We have been to numerous ghost tours around the US and this one was by far the best! We did not see any paranormal activity but thats fine by me, however you do feel throughly creeped out. The stories, visuals and the environment Brook provides is worth every penny and will leave you with goosebumps and the hairs on your neck standing up. The tough part about starting a ghost tour before sunset is setting the creepy mood. I think that is where this tour starts off on the wrong foot. It started at union station at 8pm. It’s summer, so it was still hot, and pretty sunny. We were at Union Station, much of the time outdoors around a flagpole, for 45 minutes of a 2 hour tour. We did go to a few better stops afterwards but he lost us mentally at union station. The last stop at the brewery was definitely the best because we got to see some behind the scenes brewery stuff. But that could have been accomplished better by a brewery tour, in hindsight. Sadly overall it felt more like a chore than a tour. My husband and I have a tradition of going on a ghost tour in every city where we vacation (if possible) and unfortunately this was the worst. I can’t believe I am writing that because a ghost tour in Denver sounded amazing and the reviews were great but our experience was definitely not what we expected. Shrug girl emoji.

Had a fun tour, learned much history I didnt know eventhough Ive lived in Denver for over 15 years. This was the first ghost tour Ive ever been on. The story telling was great and the places we visited were quite spooky. I walked away with some pictures that still have me scratching my head with some goosebumps.

Great tour! The tour guide Brooke is very knoledgeable and informative. Despite the huge crowd for The Illuminating Light Show he made sure to keep the group together and managed to keep everyones attention. You learn a lot of history of Lodo and surrounding areas on top of the amazing ghost stories. He also tells you straight forward what to expect. He is a great public speaker and has a ton of experience in the paranormal field so he can answer any question you throw his way. Highly recommend this for an interesting night out!

Detroiters stumbling upon this tour totally excited to join, willing to settle up later, publicly humiliated by a raise of hands who paid? and sent away despite complete willingness to pay on site. Not cool. Not good business (sales turned away). And a total bummer not to be able to learn more about the city were visiting and have a good time. Didnt know this tour existed before arrival (how would we?) and not likely to get the chance again. Opportunity shunned.

We would have liked to have been told where there were definitively no power sources and to see if there were EMF readings there.
