I recently needed two zippers fixed - one on a 3/4 zip fleece where some teeth were bent and one on the bottom portion of a pair of hiking pants where the zipper stops at the bottom had fallen off allowing the zipper to zip right off the pant leg.These repairs cost me $75. On the first item the teeth of the fleece partially bent back. The zipper teeth are still noticeably bent, I am sure this will be a problem again soon. The pants zipper had two metal bars on the bottom replaced to prevent the zipper from coming off. That was it. $75 for that work.I am very unsatisfied with the quality of work (Look at the pictures for the amount of work they did!) that was done and I am even more frustrated it cost so much. I would not recommend going to Y and L Shoes and Repairs.

Excellent work. I always wear down the heels of my shoes. Having the heels repaired is a far less expensive option then to replace the shoes.

I have a purse that I really like and I didnt want a new one so I took it to this store they fixed the zipper on my purse like new so I got my purse back and they do a very good job

I havent gotten many shoes shined before but I was expecting something better than the after picture below. I paid $19 to fix the scuffs and it looks like they made one pass at it. I could have done this work at home, and next time Ill save the money and do just that. In the light the color doesnt match and looks terrible against the original color. Not happy with the in person service or the result of the work.

I started to use YL Shoe Repair about one year ago. I had several pairs of shoes resoled. Both the service and the quality of work were always good.They carry a nice selection of good quality shoes and I always look for good shoes, just in case I find a shoe I can wear since I have a difficulty finding shoes that fit. On one of my visits I decided to try on a couple of pairs of boots, both styles were too large and too narrow. At one point I admired the boots that the owner was wearing - stylish, good quality. She offered to order me a pair from Europe in my size! A couple of months later she called me with the news that the boots came in. I was impressed with her willingness to go above and beyond and very much appreciated her efforts. That type of customer service earns my appreciation and patronage.

I had a zipper that was broken. They did a great job of replacing it. Best place to repair shoes, purses and other things. Large inventory of new shoes. Great service and craftsmanship. Love the place.

My favorite pair of shoes were ruined!! Went in to get the bottom of the heels fixed. Took them to Europe for a wedding. I wore them and about half hour later I realized something wasnt right. I took them off to examine only to find out the heel was ripped off and attached with glue. Just came back from Europe so I will be going in there today to tell them about this. I dont want them touching them again but they must know that if they cannot repair minor fixes they shouldnt be in this business.

I was about to let them repair my wallet and a purse, until I heard a conversation between a customer and the young girl who works there, they were saying some bad things about me in Russian, what they didnt know is that I speak Russian fluently too, and honestly they could have waited until I leave the shop and say whatever they want to say. You guys should have seen their faces when I said in Russian: By the way I speak Russian too . It was really funny to me but not to them 😂So anyway, they dont have a good customer service there, they will say bad things about you in Russian or maybe not anymore because I think I taught them a pretty good lesson!

They charged me to much for a simple stich on my tennis shoes and told I had to wait until Friday a week away so I dont know

They flawlessly customized a pair of tall leather boots for me. Now I know where to go for great leather tailoring I can buy boots at will!

Today I picked up some new, never worn shoes at the shop I had left 6 days ago with new straps from the shoemaker to replace the existing straps, which werent long enough for my ankles. No sewing was needed and there was just one little rivet holding the strap to the shoe. When I picked them up this afternoon, the young man had trouble finding them, and although I had not been quoted a price and there was no invoice, told me it was $20. I was shocked and told him so. I asked him to tell the owner how dissatisfied I was with the ridiculous price for something that might have taken 5 minutes. I paid the $20 and left. I received no receipt either. I would never return to this shop and would have been a good customer.

This is the worst shoe and repair store.they are rude and they did a terrible leather repair job.stay away

This is a high quality shoe repair shop with a reliable and very high quality of customer service. I brought in an old and extremely dusty pair of formal shoes in order to get them cleaned and re-polished.While there were a few bumps in the road that were not the fault of the shop, the owner of this establishment had an on-the-spot fix for me right before I left for the wedding.She asked me to return after the trip, which I did and she made sure I left with an even higher quality finish. This shop stands by its work.The picture here shows the pair of shoes now, nearly exactly as they looked when I purchased them some 10 years ago.Recommended!
