It took me almost a year talking with Eddie by phone and video about his life changing procedure. He was always willing to speak with me and answer probably the same questions over and over... poor guy. My hesitation was the pain I thought I would experience. On a scale from 1-10, the pain, or irritation level as I now refer to is as, was maybe a 2. The time seems to fly by during the sessions. I didnt have any headaches, bleeding, or any trouble sleeping after my first session and thereafter. I was ready to get it all done! My next session was a few weeks after the initial session, as I had to travel about 5 hours from where I live. During that session, I passed out! Eddie caught me before I face planted, and when I came to, he told me you didnt eat today did you? I told him I dont like to eat and drive as it makes me sleepy and I didnt want to be tired on the road. Well after checking into the hotel and heading to his office, I didnt eat. Long story short, EAT before your appointment, but if you dont Eddie will be there to catch you. He gave me a quiet dark room in which to relax, gave me mineral water and healthy snacks to help me recover. I did quickly snap back and apologized to Eddie, and asked him if I could reschedule for another time. He came in at 7 a.m. the very next morning just to accommodate me due to my travel from another state... amazing. Who does that? His schedule was booked and he was so considerate of my time. I appreciate him for his professionalism, kindness, and ultimately the outcome. I am beyond happy that I finally decided to have this procedure. I no longer wear caps out all the time, and have recd many comments about my appearance that I hadnt recd in many years. The comments were mostly questions like did I get botox, or do something different? It looks completely natural! Do it if youre considering it! Thank you Eddie for everything. This is a game changer. I didnt know about this procedure until recently and I am extremely happy I did it. Eddie is professional but also really just wants to help people gain confidence. My hair still looked thin and I was left with a pretty severe donor scar. It was very disheartening to spend tens of thousands of dollars, time, and the pain of going through several procedures not to be satisfied with the result. At the time I really just wished I had shaved my head but now had this massive scar that I was self conscious about. It was then that I heard about SMP and started to look into it to cover my scar however, while doing research on SMP I found out about concealers like Dermatch and Toppik.I started using Dermatch and was initially blown away with the results. For example, concealers can be timely to apply and make an absolute mess. In the case of Dermatch if you dont apply it perfectly or go to far down on your hair line it just looks like you have paint in your hair. Stop thinking this might hurt! The only thing you feel during the 2-3 hour session is the urge to reach up and scratch. It feels like an itch about 20-30 times during the proceedure. My experience with Eddie and scalp micro-pigmentation was excellent. Im in my mid 40s with a receding hairline and was going to the barber every week to try to do something with my hair to try to make it not look as bad but eventually it became so I didnt want to look in the barbers mirror at the back. This has been great, not one person has noticed it is not normal. Life is so much easier with no weekly barber trips and it looks clean and much younger. Since my hair is shorter but with the micro-pigmentation I have had a number of comments you look good like that, you have the right head for it..which is because my hairline is back in the place it was 15 yrs ago. I am a professional and was concerned it wouldnt be discreet. Eddie has made it discreet. He is an artist and took his time over 3 visits to make it just right. Then he did a couple of very fine adjustments for me over another 5 months as I got clearer about exactly how I wanted it. No charge for those visits! I cant imagine many doing this.

First of all, Ive never had a tattoo in my life so I was a bit nervous. Eddie made me feel comfortable and at ease with the procedure. I am African American so I was a little skeptical about the procedure at first due to my darker skin tone. Eddie said that darker canvases may need additional touch ups but will look great. I am a family member so I put my trust in him. After the completion of the procedure, I was VERY impressed and happy. I had a full crown done so Eddie really worked hard. Since it was my 1st tattoo, Eddie really explained how to take care of it and gave me extra items to take home with me. I was hoping for a family discount but Eddie did the whole procedure for Free!! I recently finished up my series of appointments with Eddie and I am more than happy with the results. I had already had the proceadure done at a different facility, but after seeing my friends results I decided that I had received a substandard treatment. Eddie essentially had to re-do the entire process to fix what had been done by the other provider, and it took three sessions to complete the process, but the difference is as clear as night and day. Im extremely happy that I decided to get my work done by Eddie! My only regret is not having gone to see him first. I would have saved my self a lot of time and money. I have found that the hardest thing about deciding to get a procedure such as this one done is finding someone with the skills to do it the right way. I got my 3rd year touch-up done at Eddies Lopez’s center at Scalp Artist Intl. The experience and results are great. No one can even tell, that’s how good Eddie’s work is. I haven’t been wearing hat to cover my balding head ever since I have had the procedure done.

I was real hesitant in getting this procedure done! Did research for about a year and throughout that 12 month timeframe had a couple SMP free consultations. After years of struggling with alopecia, I stubbled accross Scalp Artist International in Denver, Colorado. My medical condition was extremely frustrating due to my hair falling out and growing back at random times throughout the years. Each time the hair came back it was thinner and patchier than before. Even when I shaved my head, the alopecia patches showed up. Hats became very important part of my wardrobe. After my first session with Eddie, I could tell alopecia just might be a thing of the past. At least for my scaip that is. Eddie was very good at explaining the procedure and what I could expect.
