I was with Urban Balance for almost a year, before I was thrown out like trash, I love the therapist I was working with and we had a good relationship. Then my trust was broken and now I have no where to go. I dont think its the fault of my therapist, but the fault of the company its self for not checking sooner on what their polices are on insurance.

When I initially contacted Urban Balance, the intake team/office was unorganized in how they were managing scheduling and matching you with a therapist - I was told there were times and dates available, but they booked others first so I ended up having to match with someone else.. After some initial frustration with the intake process, it was escalated to the Director of their intake team who worked with me directly to help me through the scheduling challenges.While I do believe that my time spent with Urban Balance was helpful in some ways, overall I just dont think it is a fit for me. I experienced a lack of communication and sometimes incorrect information that led to me being confused over copay, insurance coverage, and additional money owed to Urban Balance. My therapist was willing to help me resolve the billing issues, which was nice, but overall it led to distrust in the company moving forward.After my initial review, Urban Balance did contact me to apologize and say that they understood my frustration and were looking in to the problems I experienced. I did feel like they cared about my feedback and experience and wanted to do what they could to help.

Was very Disappointment in my therapist

We found Urban Balance to have the most intuitive and knowledgeable counselor weve had the opportunity to work with. She was very focused on understanding our goals for therapy and kept us moving towards our desired outcome.
