We user Moser for my twin sons’ ACT prep 7 years ago and were very pleased with their improvement in scores. So didn’t hesitate to contact again for our daughter. All of my kids responded best to this process (vs classroom test prep setting).They completed practice ACT tests, then when meeting with tutor, went over the questions to see where they made errors or determined what areas needed working on. This format was efficient for our kids and yielded much improved test results.

My tutor was Lane and he was extremely flexible and accommodating for the month the we met together. We had around 6 sessions and he helped me bump my score up from a 29 to a 32.

We used Moser Educational Services for my daughters SAT prep. We didnt think we needed any assistance as she scored a 1310 without any prep. What we soon began to understand is getting over the 1400 mark and hitting the 1500 mark is a big deal both for getting into selective schools and for scholarships. My daughter worked with Jennifer Parker who was amazing! She is super smart, no-nonsense, punctual and very good at explaining difficult concepts. She identified my daughters weaknesses, worked with her on specific sections and helped her knock it out of the park. Our investment in this test prep has returned itself 10 fold with selective college admissions and some gigantic scholarships. I would highly recommend Moser Educational Services.

We used Lane at Moser Educational to prep my daughter for her SAT. Lane was very professional and he helped my daughter improve her score from her PSAT. In addition, Lane recognized that she would do better on the ACT so she took that test also - and he was right that she did much better on the ACT. This is a great service to invest in for your student in preparation for SAT/ACT testing. We went with private tutoring since our daughter was fairly confident in the content. Her tutor, Lane, did an outstanding job of teaching her how to time and pace herself through the test. Hes also a math wizard, so did a great job of teaching concepts that my daughter had either forgotten from previous years or hadnt quite mastered yet. She was able to ask the questions she needed to ask. The sessions were tailored to her learning style. Lane was flexible on scheduling, but worked hard to keep a consistent schedule with our daughter so that she had continued exposure to practice tests. She was fully prepared for both tests (ACT/SAT). I will use this service again for our other daughter. I highly recommend Moser Educational and Lane Fisch to anyone who is looking for a high quality tutoring service.

We’ve had two sons work with Moser Educational Services for ACT/SAT Prep and we couldn’t be more pleased. What stands out is how well Moser matched each of our sons with their tutor. Scott Moser scheduled a time to meet with us by phone to discuss the personality traits and needs of each of our teens. He then thoughtfully placed each with a tutor to best meet their needs. I worked with Lane Fisch and from the beginning my ACT score has gone up 10 points. His method of teaching worked well for me and I consistently improved throughout my time with him. His strategy was to start by going over the latest sections that I took for homework, see which questions I missed, and then explain to me what the correct answer is and why. Obviously I had to transition our sessions onto Zoom once the Corona Virus hit, and I defiantly preferred our in person sessions. But, I think that Lane did as well as he could have on Zoom, it was just a preference that I had. Not only the ACT, but Lane would also ask if I was doing well in my classes and offered to tutor me for specific classes if needed. Although I never took him up on this offer, it made me feel valued that he was thinking of other ways to support me. Overall, I would strongly recommend Lane for other students because he was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the material.

Worked with Moser for multiple months leading up to taking the SAT and it was totally worth it. Absolutely loved having 1 on 1 sessions with my tutor Lane Fisch (who is totally awesome). He really helped me focus in on the sections and questions where I was struggling. We work on learning important knowledge as well as strategies specific to me which helped me approach those questions where I would normally struggle. Having this support and practice before taking the SAT really helped me feel comfortable and confident, and led me to achieve a score even higher than the highest goal me and Lane had set originally!! We chose Moser Educational Services after researching for firm that would be able to help our son, who is dyslexic, prepare for his SAT/ACT. After calling a few places I spoke to Scott Moser about their techniques and the uniqueness of a student with dyslexia and after that conversation I chose Moser. Scott connected us with Lane Fisch who was extremely patient, thorough and knowledgeable about teaching students with learning disabilities. My son and I could tell that Lane sincerely cared. He was very professional and found a way to connect with my son that really helped him on taking his ACT. My son made a huge improvement on his ACT score with about 6 weeks of consistent tutoring and admitted to me that Lanes tutoring made the difference for him (because he grumbled about doing tutoring all along the process!). Then Lane was very good with ensuring we continued with additional tutoring to review that last test in order to prepare for his next test date for additional score improvement. I would not go to any other company for our younger son who will utilize tutoring when it his his time for SAT.

Moser was absolutely terrific. Our son was placed with Zach Goldstein, who was a fantastic fit. His personality worked so well, and it was clear that Moser had taken the time and given real thought to which of their tutors would be a good match. Zach was efficient and was incredibly flexible during COVID, making things work remotely when necessary and also re-arranging meeting times when our son was working in California during the summer and was not available until the evenings. Zach also pro-actively reached out to us when summer and fall ACT tests were being abruptly canceled, to give us suggestions on how best to re-arrange times and places. Lane was very knowledgeable about both the SAT and ACT material. My daughter learned testing strategies, how to manage her time for each part of the test, prior math skills which needed review, grammer, a game plan for writing and reading and main science concepts. She scored a 31 on her first ACT. Her goal is to go up a couple of points as she felt nervous taking that first test. She feels with the experience from Lane, and gaining confidence from having done one test, the next one with go smoother.

I worked with Scott all the way back when he first started the company. I started tutoring with him for the SAT/ACT, subject tests, and AP tests. I was astounded at the insight and knowledge he had about the entire testing process. I scored in the 92nd percentile on the SAT, aced my subject tests, and received a 4+ on all of my AP tests with the help he was able to provide for me. The one on one time he spent with me allowed me to see where I needed to improve my test taking skills. The material that the company provides doesnt just throw content at you, it provides you with the foundation of how to be a good test taker and master the skills necessary to feel comfortable working through the most difficult questions.
