This was my first tattoo and my artist was Michael Myers. He was extremely professional, kind, and talented in his work. He was listened to what I wanted and provided his own creative touch. He also worked very fast and seemed to genuinely enjoy working on it. The tattoo turned out incredible and exceeded my expectations. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and will definitely return for my next tattoo. Thanks Michael and Certified Tattoo Studios!

I initially reached out to Certified by making an appointment for a consultation on their website. They were a few minutes late calling on the day of the appointment, but they apologized and they’re still running a business between doing these consultations so no big deal. I don’t remember who I talked to on the phone, but he was very thorough getting the details of what I wanted my tattoo to look like. I paid my $300 deposit over the phone and paid the other $300 at the shop after my tattoo was finished. On the day of my appointment, the girl who checked me in at the desk was so nice. Ignacio was finishing up a tattoo when I came in but I didn’t have to wait for him long. Before he finished, his apprentice came over and went over the details of what I wanted again to make sure Nacho had what he needed to draw it out. When Nacho finished with his other tattoo he came over and introduced himself and immediately went to draw out my tattoo. He easily made the changes I wanted after he drew it and gave me some good advice about things that I could change. I appreciated it because I don’t have a very artistic eye and could only give vague details and pictures referencing what I wanted. Once we got started, you could tell he’d been doing this for a while. He was gentle (as gentle as a tattoo can be lol) and fast but the work is incredible. He also has a great personality and you can tell he loves his work. It’s been about a week and my tattoo is healing up nicely. It was never insanely sore or swollen even though it’s on my leg and I’ve had a ton of compliments on the work. I can’t wait to have my next tattoo done by him and my sister and husband are planning their next ones out too after they saw what an amazing job he did. I’ll definitely be back!!

I went to get a pretty simple tattoo with a couple friends and everything was very thoroughly clean, the people were all very helpful and kind, and the art is extremely satisfying.My artist was Sephira and she was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions (of which there were many) and designing some really great stuff off of some pretty basic information. I think she normally works at one of the Colfax locations but I went to Yale and was very pleased with the whole experience. It was my first tattoo so it was very helpful to have someone so courteous.Forgot to mention but she also helped me figure out exactly where to put it and we decided ankle would probably be best.Also, Im a music nerd and the playlist is very nice I was extremely happy to hear a lot of my favorite artists (maybe a small detail but it made everything a little better)

They took my money and ran. Avoid them. There are plenty of other good studios around. Theres no need to go to these scammers.I paid an up front $3,000 for a significant tattoo on my thigh. After two sessions, my artist bailed. They felt no need to let me know that until I drove almost an hour to the studio. Then they had the balls to tell me that they could have another one of their artists finish it for me, for the low price of another grand. Stupid me I agreed. Now I went there today and my artist was at a wedding. Again, no need to let me know that my artists bailed until Ive driven all the way down there.To top it all off this tattoo looks terrible. Ive used certified in the past and was happy with the results, but lately something has changed. Im not the only person with a story like this. Theyve decided stealing peoples money is a better idea than providing good tattoos.Avoid them at all costs.

I had a tattoo that was done 13 years ago and no artist wanted to work on it. I visited with Michael Myers and he was amazing! He is so detailed oriented, his work is beautiful. He kept making sure I was good and if I needed breaks. I cant say enough how impressed I am. I would definitely recommend him!

My son got a tattoo at the Yale location of Certified Tattoo Studios with Matt. At first our experience was good, Joey helped us get the appointment scheduled and was very professional and responsive through the scheduling process. On the day of the tattoo, we showed up 5 minutes early and walked past 2 guys smoking a cigar, into virtually an empty shop. One of the guys followed us in and checked us in, while the other guy stayed out front smoking a cigar. After checking us in, the guy said that Matt would be with us soon, then he went back out front and join the other guy still sitting out there smoking a cigar. We sat down and waited. About 35 minutes later both guys come back into the shop, and the guy that didnt check us in starts setting up his work station - hes a tattoo artist. Nobody says anything to us, and we sit waiting. About 10-15 minutes later, the artist says to, what seemed to be the room, but turned out to be my son, okay, lets get this stencil on you, and nothing else, then when he is done says, let it sit for 10 minutes. So my son sits back down for another 20 minutes while the artist goes in the back. Finally over an hour after the appointment was supposed to start, Matt comes back out and says okay, talks to some other people while he gets the seat set up for my son, then tells him to sit. The rest of the process was fine, guy didnt want to talk, which is fine, thats his prerogative. But the next day, looking at the tattoo we realized that Matt didnt finish the letters on the words of the tattoo, or the numbers that followed, so the tattoo wasnt finished. Fine, mistakes happen, but they need to be fixed too. So we reach out to Joey and sent pics explaining what happened, and he is responsive and says he sent the info and pic to that shop, Matt and the lead over there, and said he would get back to us that day or the next. That didnt happen. I even followed up the next afternoon, but no response. For my sons first tattoo, this was really disappointing and just unprofessional. Wish we could take back the $100 tip we gave on a $400 tattoo. My suggestion would be, find a different place.

I went to see Casper and every time I see him he just does a phenomenal job. It’s so clean and even. The line work is always sharp. And each piece he has done on me is just beautiful. I get complaints all the time. And it makes me happy to have his work on me.

Amazing! I had Nacho do a linework tattoo on my inner upper arm. Everyone there was so friendly (they even bought me coffee, thank you again for that ❤) and it was overall the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Definitely my favorite tattoo Ive gotten so far too, it looks amazing! 100% recommend going here!

The best place to get your tattoos in Denver!! The staff were super friendly and help from booking the appointment, to greeting me inside, to the actually work. Tati made booking on the phone super easy and was nice and detailed to make sure I get what I wanted. Justin was so super friendly when he greeted me inside. My man, Nacho was super chill and so skilled at what he does! You can tell Nacho has a passion for tattooing and loves what he does! I couldn’t be more happy for what Nacho did for me!! My cousin and I were on vacation and decided to spontaneously get tattoos. We walked in, and were set up for them later that day! West did a great job, taking every idea, opinion and adjustment. A great place, clean and friendly. West was great company, conversation, and went above and beyond on our tattoo, especially for walk-ins! Definitely will go back if I’m ever in town again!

T (T. Henry as shes listed on the website) at the Yale location was amazing and really worked with me to create what I was looking for for my first tattoo, taking the necessary time to make all the little changes and adjustments I asked for. She also checked in with me throughout to make sure I was doing alright and had no problem making conversation with me as I chatted her up throughout to distract myself. She and the shop were down to earth, professional, and friendly. Justin, the shop manager there that day, was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Just a wonderful first tattoo experience all around. Highly recommend.

Tanner at the Yale location was awesome! We talked a little bit before my appointment and when I arrived he had created exactly what I wanted. Although it was small and took only a little bit of time he was very enjoyable to have a conversation with. Justin was behind the front desk and was very welcoming and helpful when filling out paperwork. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or coming from out of town that is looking to get some ink!

Went for my first appointment and was all but excited for it. My appointment was at 2 and I wasnt seen till closer to 3. Not a big deal, but they had a problem with opening up the reference pictures. They never called to let me know until I got there. I expressed what I wanted and showed them what I wanted. I wish I never got it done to be honest. I paid in full over the phone and wish I didnt. I feel it cost more than it was worth. The artist said they had over 10yrs of experience and it just feels like no. I didnt initially say anything about it right then and there because I didnt want to cry. The total time for the tattoo was about 2 in half hours when they told me it would take longer. The price I paid was not 2 in a half hour tattoo. Over all the people were nice and easy to talk to, but I just wish I did my homework a bit more.

I am from out of state and decided to spontaneously get a tattoo. I found Certified Tattoo on Google and the Yale location was the closest to where I was staying so I did a walk in. Though I had to wait an hour that was absolutely ok because it was a walk in. The front desk/ receptionists and the artists were all awesome, super friendly, and professional. Emma was my tattoo artist and she did an amazing clean job. Thank you Emma! They all made me feel very comfortable and so it didnt seem like I was from out of state. Ill definitely come back if Im back in this state and looking to get a tattoo again :)

I reached out to Nacho with a last minute ask to get a tattoo in honor of my late dad before my wedding. He immediately got me in, went through several drafts, talked through a ton of different locations (and we tested each one!) and ultimately gave me the perfect and special tattoo. Cannot recommend him enough - he truly cares about his clients and is just incredibly talented!

My original artist wasn’t available last minute, but the manager communicated with me and got me rescheduled within an hour of my original appointment. T was my artist and she was awesome! Warm, professional, and great at what she does. I am very happy with my final product and would go back to T in the future :)

This was a great experience. Thanks Casper and Mikey! I went this weekend to get a large piece on my upper arm. It was my first time booking ahead and not just getting a walk in tattoo somewhere. I am local and certified came highly recommended from friends and family.Calling and making the initial appointment was a breeze. I was quoted a price and put a deposit down over the phone and was able to schedule out the consultation and session.The day of the appointment I ran into some bad traffic and was about 10 mins late. I called ahead to let the shop know and they were so understanding.Once at the shop I checked in with Mikey who was fast and thorough, and met with my artist Casper. We had discussed the piece before with a few reference photos but what he drew up for me was amazing.It’s a very chill shop and over the course of my 6 hour session I felt very comfortable. Casper was great about taking breaks and making sure I was doing well. His line work and detail is outstanding and I felt like he really cared about the piece.I would say if you enjoy a laid back, clean and quality shop this is the place for you !

This was one of the best tattooing experiences I’ve ever had, and I have a lot of tattoos. I was a little apprehensive the day of the appointment second guessing the placement and getting concerned about whether or not I would like it. However, I was in great hands from the very start. Skyler helped check me in. She was very nice and excited about the piece. As soon as we got a stencil picked out for the size, Casper went right to work. He got the placement perfect on the first try, and it really boosted my confidence. He was super nice and friendly and happy to hear about the meaning behind the tattoo. He wasn’t too heavy handed. I did my piece with T, she was so patient with me, redid the drawings couple times till it was absolutely perfect. Her technique was incredible! The place is always poppin’ with good energy & good music. We visited Tee and Tanner for collarbone tattoos. They were very gentle and did amazing work!! Super straight lines, and made it look even better than the reference picture. They made it very comfortable and it was such an easy process. I’ll definitely be visiting them again!

My Experience with Michael Myers at the Yale location couldn’t have been better…My wife and I decided to get tattoos to commemorate our 15th anniversary. We looked at a plethora of different artists in the Denver area and we settled on Michael. This is my biggest tattoo to date and I was hoping to find someone to work with for the long haul. At our consultation it was obvious that we had found a good fit. I had a rough idea what I was looking for as to subject matter, placement and style… Michael came up with the perfect custom design and knocked it out of the park. I requested a few minor changes on the day of the tattoo and he was very patient and accommodating. The vibe of the shop is as good as they claim… not stuffy or clickish at all like many other shops. I highly recommend Michael and Certified! I’ve already scheduled another appointment 👍🏼

I got a tattoo from Matt Huerta.It was a good 7 to 8 hour session. Good with the banter as well as just chilling as I listen to music or watch Netflix. It was my first tattoo, Im glad I spent good money for a good product.

I was lucky enough to get a tattoo by the talented West. I came in with an idea for a wheat tattoo and high expectations, and they completely blew my expectations out of the water! I will definitely be coming back. (Already have my next appointment) if you’re wondering if you should go to go to west or not, LOOK AT THIS TATTOO!

I got a American traditional sleeve done by Myers @ Yale location and it came out incredible! I gave him some reference photos and not much else to work with and he gave me an art piece Ill be able to admire for the rest of my life. Clean lines, bright colors, and killer placement. He absolutely destroyed my expectations of what I would receive. This was an expensive piece but it is totally worth it for the work he did. He also was a great guy to hangout with! He was chill the entire time and we had some great conversations. He made me feel welcomed and heard from the consult all the way thru the end of the tattoo. Its gonna be hard to find anyone else better than Mike. If you need something done, especially a traditional or neo traditional piece, you HAVE to go to Mike at Certified!

I absolutely recommend Certified Tattoos. During a quick and easy consultation, they paired me with Tee for my lettering project, saying that she was simply the best around. And they were spot on. Tee is professional and highly skilled, from quickly drafting up my idea, ensuring exactly the proper placement, and doing the artwork itself. This was my first tattoo but I will have no hesitation booking my second appointment here.

Kelsea is amazing artist and professional. The attention to detail is top notch and she listened and shared ideas on what works and doesn’t with the flow of a tattoo. I would sit in her chair again all day any day!!!The customer service side of the business and timeliness and response to inquiries via phone, email and social media are less than desired. They fix this and this is a well oiled machine.

I got my first tattoo on Thursday and can honestly say great experience all around. Casper was able to practically take an image out of my mind and place it on my arm. Incredible talent! He stayed focused on his work and the shop was clean and has a cool vibe to it. I’ve always been a badass and now I look like one. Very proud to wear this arm everyday. Came to visit my aunt from Chicago and wanted to get my first tattoo. I called to schedule and appointment and they had someone text me for more details. I scheduled an appointment with Adam, he estimated me around $200 dollars. I get to the location and they tell me that my artist has just moved locations and they had “meant” to call me and they would call ahead at the other location to let them know I was coming. I also called them on my way over to let them know I was coming. I arrive at the other location and I am nowhere on my artist’s schedule, the other location did not call ahead and the man at the front desk asks me repeatedly if it’s a consultation or an appointment. I try to explain the whole situation and they have me wait outside. Sephira, who was to be my artist, came outside to ask what I’m looking for. She tried to sway me a bit in my design and ask my price range. When I told her Adam quoted me at $200 she said she didn’t know why he would tell me that because she wouldn’t be able to do it for that much. Mind you I’m looking for black line work of a moon and a few flowers with NO SHADING only around 2 inches. At that point I just walked away. They were entirely unprofessional, and if I can’t even trust them to properly schedule an appointment, I sure as hell am not trusting them to tattoo me.Edit: I was contacted by someone named joey from the studio to see if I still wanted a tattoo and about my review. He claimed it was slanderous, that there was not enough confirmation, and “they cannot book clients to artists calendars with out a deposit”. I sent him screenshots and told him I made it clear to Adam that this was my first tattoo and I wasn’t sure how the process went. Adam never mentioned a deposit, nor did he follow up asking for more confirmation on the appointment. He insisted it wasn’t Adam’s fault and that he wouldn’t accept me slandering their business. Beware guys and keep looking for another tattoo shop.

Came here for a walk-in. Everything was bright and clean and everyone was professional. The water and coffee (and candy bowl 🙃) are all really nice touches for waiting customers...as is the ATM on site (my first time seeing one, but maybe Im the outlier). T did a small linework piece on my arm and it came out beautifully! She was patient as I figured out the placement and helped me make sure it was perfect for me before starting. Definitely recommend checking out her work! Also--shout-out to the dude working the front service desk who very calmly and respectfully handled a few potential guests who were ineligible for tattoos for various reasons.

Had a wonderful experience with Tanner Remus. I came in one day looking to get a rose from my grandmothers quilting fabrics I found. It came out so well. I could not be happier. The piece healed super well and was a very easy process. Thank you for giving me a gorgeous piece of art I can always have to remember my family. If you want any new school colorful artwork, I would highly recommend Tanner.

Nacho at the Yale location was such a cool dude He did the best minimal line mandarin orange for me and my friend. The line work is so crisp I’m so stoked!!!

I had an appointment with Nacho this past week to start working on a new piece I wanted. I just gave him a concept and he came up with the most beautiful sketch. Seeing it finished, its even better than I couldve hoped for. He was really nice and made sure I was comfortable the whole time, which I really appreciated. Everyone else in the shop was wonderful as well, and were fun and easy to talk to. This was such an awesome experience and Ill most definitely be coming back!

Just got my first ever tattoo with Certified! It was the best experience. Shoutout to my super talented artist John Myers, my tattoo is incredible!!! He has a great style which balanced perfectly with my custom design. Such nice people and great environment all around:)

I got a fine line tattoo from Nacho. He’s so nice and so good at what he does! I can’t wait to get another tattoo from him.

These guys are awesome! Justin was really helpful, making the check in process quick and easy. The shop was clean/well kept and their use of the latest tech made the appointment, as well as after care a breeze. Tanner does awesome work, has great attention to detail and made the experience memorable.

I’ve been tattooed by Delaney twice now and each time is always a great experience with her. I absolutely love talking to her every time I am there and hope to see her again soon!

I got some awesome flash done by Emma and she did a KILLER job — she was super welcoming, extremely professional, and made my experience at Certified a great one. Everyone else at the shop made me feel comfortable and at home, and I will definitely be back for more!

What a disappointment... I booked a virtual appoint with Adam Baker and after waiting 11 days he was not much help. The receptionist insisted that they would have photos and help me decide on a 3/4 sleeve. I emailed him for a code for the Google meet meeting which they recommended and he did not send it. He sent a few texts and then ghosted me. Horrible service. These guys have really went down hill since my cousin used them.

Had an absolutely incredible experience with this shop. Went in for a Friday the 13th flash tattoo and West was very quick clean and did an incredible job. Would highly recommend going to this shop and will be going back!

I was a walk in and they were super welcoming and happy to help me. I got put with Sephira and she did incredible job brining my idea to life! She was engaging and easy to talk to and made the experience very enjoyable!

I just got my 3rd tattoo here today. Casper did an AMAZING job and I couldn’t be more excited about my new tattoo! When I first got there, he made sure my design was exactly what I wanted and he made 3 different sizes so I could be 100% sure of what I wanted. I wish I would have come here for my first 2 because they are so professional and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

Got my very first tattoo at the Yale location by artist Tanner. He was great! I didnt feel much for a good portion. He was patient with me since it was my first. The lines look neat and even. The color is nice and saturated. He was honest and real about explaining different looks and expectations. Well definitely go here again!

Gabe was a great artist. Made sure I was comfortable the whole time and made sure that the tattoo I wanted was of the highest quality. Will definitely be back in the future.

I just got the best tattoo from Michael Myers at Certified the Yale location. He was such a professional tattoo artist! He created a beautiful design and seemed to really have fun creating his art on my skin! Michael has a customer for life! It was a fantastic experience!!

My friend and I came in for tiny 2” matching tattoos. We waited nearly 2 hours which was fine as we just walked in. The guy at the front was very nice and friendly however the man that did our tattoos was not. He was over priced for the experience. He was very rude and not informative when asking him questions about colors and options. I have had tattoos in the past and typically the person doing it is extremely knowledgeable and happy to talk about the process and options for textures, colors, etc. I’m very disappointed.

Got a double cover up sleeve from @michaelmyerstattoo in 2 days! He is a phenomenal tattoo artist! Has a light hand and is fast as hell! But extremely precise and pays attention to detail. He knocked my tattoo out of the park and helped me with ideas that really brought it to life! Will be going back to him for work in the future!!!

I’m their Deaf client, it was easy communication through writing/texting on phone. The tattoo artist gave me more time along with his advice for tattoo on my lower arm. It came out beautiful. Will post the photo when it’s healed.

I was seen by Matt at the Yale location. He is experienced, creative, and diligent in his work. I was in town for a trip and he was able to squeeze me in. Highly recommend!

Everyone at this studio is super talented. I have been road tripping through the west, so I wanted to get a small classic CO tattoo (of a mountain). I sat with Matt and he did an incredible job. Great line work, super clean. Highly recommend this studio if you’re looking for great work in Denver! :)(apologies for the bad photo, it’s hard to take a picture of the back of your own arm haha)
